Armored Core 6 is a different continuity, its story and lore is not connected to any of the other generations. It's not the first time they've done a continuity reboot like this either. The first and second gen games are a connected story (AC1, Project Phantasma, Master of Arena, AC2, and Another Age), but third gen was a new continuity (AC3, Silent Line, Nexus, and Last Raven). Formula Front and Ninebreaker are non-canon spinoffs using third gen gameplay. Fourth gen was yet another reboot, and its story connects with fifth gen (AC4, For Answer, AC5, and Verdict Day). Now AC6 is the third time they've rebooted the story. It's just a common occurrence in the series.
Thank you for explaining this because I wasn't sure how it all fit together. The whole thing with the coral and how it works was really cool though and made me curious, it's just such an interesting universe
@@UNSKIALzPSN From literally said in interviews repeatedly that it's a different continuity. It's not the first time it's happened in the series either.
4:37 only an hour and a half? I spent 3 hours on that one last night lol, and I ended up going with a tank build to beat it. And I agree with the story take, I really enjoyed the story and world building so much! Great review! Subbed!
3 hours is crazy but you're hust built different. I did an hour and a half was ready to take a break and come back the next day 😂 Also thank you for subbing, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Elden ring was my first foray into FromSoft's specific brand of pegging and I've since played all their souls games and loved it. Never played a mech game but I love this. Im only on chapter 3 but i can feel how much better I've gotten and feel powerful. Great video btw, glad the algorithm sent you my way. Keep it up buddy Edit: PLEASE try playing with a controller. I got one when I started Elden ring and it's a game changer once you get used to it
Thanks for the comment brother I appreciate the kind words. The game does a great job at making you feel like a badass for sure. Also, I played Elden Ring on controller but it felt weird on AC so I opted for keyboard and mouse. I'm doing another playthrough before Starfield though so maybe I'll plug it in and see if I can get used to it
I started my 2nd run and I'm trying some new stuff out now, wish I did so sooner. Pilebunker is insane and a ton of fun, I'll have to try the shotgun/needler though
The problem is everyone holds straight while mashing every shoulder button. Get in a game vs 2 Gatling guns with ANY build and keep some distance. Watch how hard it is to hit you now. People seem to have forgotten that just like the bosses of this game. You should probably analyze what weapons your opponent has an play accordingly instead of just running straight in. I also noticed in multiplayer everyone just focuses on whatever target is currently on screen versus one specific player.
This game isn't fun anymore. It was fun at first, but not anymore because it's getting super hard. I'm not really into games where there's more bosses than regular enemies. Dying over and over isn't fun. I play Elden Ring, but you can go level up or get spells/skills and then come back to destroy if you're stuck. This game doesn't let you do that. So if you're stuck, you're ACTUALLY stuck because it's not open world. The ACs you fight literally dodge EVERYTHING that'll do any decent damage. They always dodge boost kicks and melee attacks. That's not "fun" anymore. At least i got to chapter three and finished all the arenas. I think it's time to put this game away for now...or maybe for good.

Do we know for sure AC6 is a reboot, rather than just far-detached from the settings of the previous games?

Ayre took me 4 hours lol
Took me a full 4 hour total with a lightweight build, 1 hour the first day then came back for another three the next day
First content creator I’ve seen without an evangelion AC
I still haven't watched Neon Genesis 😅
@@AdoinkAdoinkThat's honestly impressive.
Evangelion wouldn’t make as much sense anyways since AC lean more into the real robot genre rather than the semi-bio super robot genre Eva is
Evangelion sucks honestly
@@jacobb3784Worth watching for robots

*FUCK IT WE BOOST!*
can i play offline arena though? my internet is really shitty, i got constant offline when i'm fighting with other player....
Im not sure honestly. The game uses Easy Anti Cheat I think so it might not let you on without internet
You can play arena mode offline, you play against other pilot data you encounter in the campaign storyline.
