    I love this hobby! 😃 Why I never tried FPV before is beyond me...it's such a rush and I have to say I'm hooked! I guess I'm an adrenaline junkie or something because like the RC speed runs this really gets me going. I will be back out with the RC speed runs soon guys. I just love all aspects of the RC hobby. 😃🍺🍺

    I loved watching your speed run videos.So, when I started thinking of fpv’s and just saw your video on these I was pretty happy. I was glad you put the video of what you see at the end. I think I haven’t taken the plunge because I hate the big bulky goggles. Good job!!

      Thanks brother for the kind words. 😃🍺🍺 I will be going back to speed runs for awhile soon. As for the goggles yeah they are big but aren't all that heavy and you can get lighter ones...cool you are thinking of FPV. It's kinda hard to learn at first but it gets easier with simulator practice. And my view in the goggles looks better than what the Goggle DVR records. These goggles don't record that great but at least it gives you an idea.

      Thanks Chuck! You know...I have GPS drones and I kinda fluffed off drones in general for cars. But this FPV flying is incredible. Like you are inside the thing flying it...hahaha. Its pretty hard to learn to fly in Acro mode where the quad doesnt self level and pushing the stick all the way doesnt just tilt the quad to a certain angle but will produce a roll or flip. But I practiced on a simulator...Liftoff to be specific...and putting in some time on that sim has made flying FPV in Acro mode become clear. I think I have found a new obsession to be honest. I'm still running cars but this is very addicting the FPV.

    • @KaizerTest
      @KaizerTest  Рік тому

      @@dortmunder27xxx Hi sorry I just saw this. I started flying in angle mode but not for long. It's much better to fly in acro and it's actually easier. But to start you do want some safety and Betaflight that all quads use has Acro trainer mode. When you enable it in the modes tab of betaflight your quad will only tilt to a maximum of 45 degrees. In acro without it your quad would do a roll or flip. As for this quad it is good but I recommend the Darwin baby Ape pro v2 darwinfpv.com/products/darwin-baby-ape-pro-v2 The reason is it comes with an ELRS receiver which is the newest radio protocol which gives the best range and receiver are inexpensive. Pretty much everybody uses Express LRS (ELRS) or TBS crossfire these days. Next it has better camera than the Tinyhawk Freestyle. And it has removable arms so if you crash and break one it's easily fixed. Both are good but I would get the Baby Ape Pro V2. Has to be V2 for the better frame. Also get a radiomaster Zorro ELRS radio or Radiomaster TX12 ELRS. And finally Skyzone Cobra X goggles. If you can't afford the Cobra X then Eachine EV800D will work but I highly recommend the better goggles. If you have the cash get a digital quad and goggles. Feel free to message me back anytime.

    Hello, I recently purchased a Tinyhawk 2 Freestyle. I crashed to see if the capacity suddenly ran out during flight. One of the batteries was not connected, so I charged it, but it did not charge. Is it a battery problem, not an adapter problem?

    • @Gis_MW
      @Gis_MW 2 роки тому +2

      Every time I fly, one of the batteries loses voltage quickly. The battery cable is also damaged. Is this a battery problem? And which battery do you prefer, emax, uruav, or gnb?

    • @KaizerTest
      @KaizerTest  2 роки тому

      You have to be careful not to go any lower than 3.2v per cell or you will damage the battery. Battery brand makes little difference to me. Just make sure you watch voltage.

  • @simonhampton1304

    Hi guys just a quick question,I have just purchased one of these in the UK and I'm just about to get into FPV flying once I have familiarised myself with current regulations on flying these types of drones here but I was just wondering is there a way to adjust the camera angle as it's pointing virtually straight ahead but I would much rather it be facing ever so slightly down.

    • @KaizerTest
      @KaizerTest  2 роки тому

      Hi from Canada! So if you are just starting out I recommend having the camera level to the frame of the quad with maybe 5-10 degrees of up tilt. The reason is that the higher the camera faces up the faster you will want to fly so you can see the ground. SO basically camera angle dictates how fast you will be flying. Also taking off and landing is harder with a high camera angle. This is because on takeoff and landing the quad frame is horizontal to the ground but the camera will face to the sky on landing and takeoff making doing those two tasks harder because you cannot see the ground. So the simple answer is keep the camera at about 5 degrees facing up to start. Fly in a dry grassy area and bring a spotter for your first flights because these tiny things are easy to lose. Try and stay close and pay attention to your location...have the spotter watch your location as well.

    thank you . I have a Fly Sky device and a receiver... I want to buy a drone from Emax, but how do I make a connection or connection between the Flysky device and the drone? Is there an explanation for the method? I hope so .

    • @KaizerTest
      @KaizerTest  2 роки тому +1

      Basicially you need to solder the SBUS wire of the receiver to a free UART RX pad on the flight controller. Then solder the 5v to a 5v pad on the flight controller and negative to negative on the flight controller. Then you need to make sure serial RX is checked off in betaflight. There's a few steps and it's not hard but can be hard for someone that hasn't soldered on tiny solder pads. Get a lighted magnifying glass that clamps to your table so you can solder easier...it really helps. And pre tin the wire and the pad on the flight controller. Use some flux as well. Then when you solder you only need to heat the pad and wire together without adding any more solder. There is a bit of a learning curve to all this and its a bit frustrating at first. But if you watch video and take your time you can make less mistakes. Which Flysky receiver do you have?

    • @KaizerTest
      @KaizerTest  3 роки тому +1

      I unsoldered the reciever antenna for the built in receiver that was included and used my own FLYSKY FS-A8S receiver and soldered it to the Sbus on the flight controller. In hindsight I probably would have bought an FRsky transmitter because like 80 percent of the bind and fly quads on Banggood have FRsky receivers built in. But this forced me to practice my micro soldering skills...lol. There's nothing at all wrong with the Flysky i6 radio though. I would go for an i6x because upgrading my i6 to 10 channels has been a bit of a pain(I don't have the right cable) I think. The i6x is the same but with 10 channels. There are some quads that do come with a flysky receiver built in though.

I'm not going to upgrade for quite a while I think. Getting receivers for the Flysky is a little hard as well. Not as many options and the only place I can find any is Banggood. I have a Tango 2 and crossfire for my long range and digital quads that I like to fly further out. But for my close flying small quads I use this radio. But you know if I was starting out in this hobby today I would get the Zorro or Jumper T-Lite Pro with ELRS. I would only get the Flysky today if I was on an extreme budget. But for like $40 it definitely worth it. And if I was starting out today I would probably use the ELRS protocol exclusively and not use Crossfire. Crossfire is amazing but I think ELRS has great price AND long range and penetration.
