Until you find out the manufacturer has a patent on that design and sues you..
I discontinued the part that I sell which is a near replica. I never really sold many of those anyway.
it is not
They can't sue you, if they don't have the part for sale.
@@Normal1855 of course they can that’s what the patent is there for - if it is their design and idea and they protected it - you are not allowed to use it in any way
@@Normal1855 You don't need to sell a product to own the design of it

@@phat56patthere's law for the rights to repair but I wonder if that can be applied on apple 😂 their product is junkie but they always refused but if they do it will always cost you a limb 😅😂

This is business
congratulations, you’ve re-invented rep-rap
It's patent. You can use your own only.
That is literally what Prusa does, one of the largest 3D printer manufacturers.

Thank you. For making people life easier. Third party spare part help save a lot of money.
I do what I can to help out!! It's also really fun for me
That's pretty cool, good work dude! Hope you can expand to other things as well! Best of luck
Thank you very much! I plan to expand this year! :)
This is true entrepreneurship.
Yes!! Screw those engineers that create designed failure parts.
Has your phone ever broke before?
Dumbass comment from someone who never designed anything in their life
The smart thing to do would be to make another part that breaks 😉
I like the video, I found value in this. Also a funny - I liked how you "typed" , I legit laughed out loud.
Thank you so muchh!!!
Holy hell, a $479 litterbox? I'd just get a dog.
Yea, till you gotta take them out multiple times a day. Till you realize you can’t go away for a couple of days because you’ll need someone to take care of the dog.
Till you realize you can’t even be gone from the house all day because you gotta feed and take the dog out.
A feels like a having a kid. (I have no kids but I imagine)
@@1stNumberOne you get bit by a dog when you were younger?
@@1stNumberOnei guess im exercising, which is just as good
I don't even have a litter box for my cat... Just some random 5€ box from the discounter filled with sand or she just shuts in the neighbors garden xD
Yes the dog will eat the cat poop perfect replacement😂

Per year damn
Its a pretty good gig :)
Files already on hand, almost 1k extra a month ain’t bad for very little work
I wish for a 1000$ a month
@@ThePrintHouse profit? Or sales
@@rez372 with 3D printing its pretty much all the same it cost pennies to make those so even though you need a multi thousand dollar printer it pays for its self in a year.
Loving your videos, Jerry!
Long time no see! ;)
Recently I came across a website that sells custom brackets for a lot of IoT and smart home stuff. So, for example, a bracket to put Philips Hue switches on top of existing light switches. It's pretty cool to see people turn their ideas into small side hustles like this!
Reminds me of what I did, before 3D printers became popular.
I used to work for a manufacturer that made a larger version of a part, for a product they weren’t aware of. I’d simply order some privately from one of the other plants and sell that part for many times what they were selling it for. Just in a smaller volume. Customers loved it.
Yeah, it’s all fun and games until the company comes out with their own replacement part and stops you from selling yours.
He still made money and sold lots of em removing some customers of the companys reach
@@casualbeaver wow really? 😲
That sounds like work. Most companies are allergic to that
@@Drualeafi bet you don't even have a 3d printer and your comment is so wrong
@@laststand6420unless your name is Nintendo
Do a small change on any part so u are not breaking any patents
They are all my custom design.
My 3d printers don’t fucking work and cost me 10,000 in therapy fees
which one did you buy?
You sooo wrong 😂
Ender 3?
Gorgeous setup from walls to table top led etc etc everything is bright like you future 🎉
"And the parts last as long as 27hrs🤯"
Got the tone of a pre-school teacher dawg
3D printers are amazing! I think there's millions if not billions of items thrown out because of miniscule (but inconvenient/comprising) damages to them or you that specific part isn't avaible for sale. Well now you can just 3D print that parts instead of it being thrown out and adding to the landfill/ocean.
As a hobbyist, 3D printers can and do SOMETIMES help fix devices that would otherwise be thrown away. BUT the majority of prints aren't for fixing stuff.
Overall the hobby is a net increase in plastic and I wish more was invested in the ability to recycle or decompost the plastics since it is 100% possible.
@Gabriel Soos Wasn't recycling invented by coporations? I think we need to address not just the plastic as a by product, but the prduction of plastic--transitioning away from it. It's like a open faucet, yes you'e cleaned the floor and removed most of the water on the ground but its the faucet is still leaking water
Nice for prototypes got to get proper injection mould for big orders
I need a print , I can pick up!! Small print maybe the size of a nickel
Realistic, props my dude!
Bro fit a whole career into a 30 second clip
Congratulations buddy!
Kitty Litter Box Man! Cool video
How's it going!! Been missing your videos man! Can't wait for the next one. I'm opening my etsy store soon, so some "opening hour first etsy store" content would be welcome ;)
The way he types when on ebay is incredible.
It magical, isnt it?
crazy concept ot takes money to make money 🤯
"So I started 3D printing my cats litter box"
Just 10k a year I hope I have another job
considering he just started and clearly has a room and all of this other stuff, he probably does :)
Can't even afford rent for a year here lol
My 3D printers cost me 16,000 a unit-
16000 what
Anyone else ever wondered what a 3D Printer made by a 3D Printer would be like?
Bro,what software for designing??❤❤❤
What is homie doing with that coiled cable on the keyboard that way 😭😭😭
That's how nerds get off while they type! That's like giving your keyboard a Brazilian butt lift😂
(just kidding, I like custom mechanical keyboards)
"My 3D printers make me lie my @ss off about my income"
Disagree
Yeah no
Spend 1k on 3d printing equipment
Start selling 3d models for 40-80 bucks each at 1/110 scale of a human and print 20 for 0.40 cents worth of filament out of the roll that can print 500 if not more
If you don't believe me simply look up games workshop
Definitely not true.
exactly this. It's very easy to sell if you have a lock on the market
You know it's true!! :) Thanks man!!
I used to make 3k a month. Believe it or not that wasn’t enough because I had a main business that pulled in 30k a month so I had to shut down because It took to much time to run the 3D printing business alongside my other business
Wow that’s so cool
Love your keyboard! 👊🏻🧡🇨🇦

I realized I make money with a 3D printer, so I decided to make 3D printers & sell them"
Which is great unless you have to pay rent or any other bills. Good side hustle if it's real but keep in mind that's under 1k a month
Oh yeah it's a side hustle. Definitely not a full time job. It's not livable.
Lawyer up😅
What 3d designer do you use to make parts?
And then I woke up from this short dream - read it in your voice 😂
I patented the item, you now owe me royalty's.

TEN K can i get sum from the gas station
Need to buy a 3D printed house cat
hahah honestly could be less mess lol
That's chill dude😺
I was like WOW!
Then he said per year lol.
So 🆒 🎉😢😮
Ok so what printer would you recommend I buy to start printing. I do have technical experience and I can build pretty much anything.
If you have no budget then I would get the prusa i3 if you have a budget I would get the WizMaker P1
How many times do you need a small part that's broken only the manufacturer doesn't sell it or insists you buy the whole unit? 3D printing could well be the solution.
One man sees cat poop, another sees a solution.
i tried parts like that for my cat genie... junk but the scrubber.... Cat genie changed the molding of the bowl and bin... but Cat Genie with the cartridge hack chip is freaking awesome !!!
What about the cost of plastic for the 3D print and the time or ship it. Also eBay takes a cut out of your profit so…. I don’t think you made as much as you thought 😂
filament costs a couple cents per piece, not really significant
For those who are confused, you can sell a part and list it as compatible for the machine. You can't get sued when it's a upgrade or modification
This went viral. So I wonder if I can boost my 3d printing business by talking in a stupid voice and explaining everything I did to create my business
Man is a genius.
Man, these comments are toxic.
If you are what you say, good for you. You solved problems and made money, as it should be.
My dryer broke and the new impeller was 80$ so I just printed one out of hi temp abs
This dude sells that circle bracket thing for like $46
This is really smart
Thank you so much!!
You could just license the updated designs back to the company and get royalties.
I could but I enjoy it :)
Are you able to create new designs like the inlet piece for a ridgid vaccum?
We making it out of undergrad with this one.
Truly surprised they didn’t send a cease and desist. Must’ve been cutting into a lot of profit for them.
you can say "my 3d printer is printing money"
Sometimes it's best-selling! I have my pencil sharpener broken as I looked inside then search up matched gear, which is broken and found matched. I able order one then I noticed the gear isn't same as company but from 3d machine, how I know it, answer is; the one have lines while other's broken had none. Both of them is same plastic.
Bro literally looks like QCP before he hit the Gym
See a need, fill a need
Bro I was hype but the just ends
If it works and you don't catch any flak, props to you
thanks bro!!!! :)
Yo, the Hart 20v up-right stick vaccum doesn't have the wheels available anywhere online. My wife would appreciate it :D
Oh wow I probably could do that, but I dont know if there is a big enough market for that :/
You're like that robot from robots who sells spare parts.
hahahahah ::DDDD
1st of all pinch and twist feel much better
It's true, I've also been selling them now for 3 days 🎉
I would do the same, well done!
Nice bro
Did you check that there isn't a patent on the part because the company can come after you and sue you.
What an intro - 3d printing makes me fuck all money
They are going to sue the pants off you. Good luck.
Where do you go to design your parts? What is the best free one?
You are selling delta calibration prints?
No these are parts for a cat litter box ahhahah
Good job man!!
Thank you so much!!!
Make a 3d printed plane which flies
tell me how paying for a cat go you this?
Imagine having a room for you printers.
Reminded me of slime
Good for you!
Thank you man!!! :)
Me i was waiting him to say 10.000 $ a month
someone else video : So I noticed that this 3d printed part that I bought for my cat box is broken, so I took some dimensions and 3d printed one myself. And now I see others having the same problem so I make 15000 a year selling these.
brooo where did you get that cat litter box😮
Might want to patent that.
Patents are expensive.
Time to jump to injection molding
Good for u man
Next week this part will be available for 1 cent free shipping from china
yeeaaaah china :/
🔥🔥🔥📈
lol per year. I want that per week
What app do you use to create models😊
