Cool Architecture in a lot of those buildings. Fun walk. Thanks for posting this. Looks like your channel is growing well. Great testement to your content. Keep 'em coming. Thanks. -Henry
Miami would be much cuter if there was less skyscrapers in downtown. But more green space. Unfortunately, City government does not care , and if opportunity comes , will turn Miami into concrete hellhole.
It’s cool seeing all those different palm trees 🌴 such as the coconut tree with coconut on them. 💕 Miami looks like a whole other country, not in the US. Like Southeast Asia or Caribbean or something. ❤️
I am really enjoying your walking tours in southern Florida. I would love to see one start on the Rickenbacker Causeway to go to Virgina Beach, Crandon Park, and Key Biscayne. Thanks for your work. Subscribed.
Loved it!
Great video! Love the Miami Cubaniche at :59 arguing about parking LOL... As someone who advocates for the First Amendment protected right to record, I find it very interesting just how surprised people seem to be with you video recording. It’s like they’ve never seen a camera before.
Ralph, truly it gets barren a lot of the times, and you have to wonder why...sure, people go to the beach areas, but as far as a REAL city with people walking around downtown, etc., Miami is one of the worst...and being "hot" isn't the reason - it's just not walkable/interesting downtown like NYC, SF, etc.
@@tiltsf You are sadly mistaken. NYC and SF are "very interesting", yet people are leaving in droves and moving to South Florida. The city is full of NY and CA tags, and it has driven our real estate prices "up the roof." Heat IS a factor. Specially when this video was filmed. Summer time temps in Miami can reach the mid 90s and the humidity is very high. That makes it very uncomfortable to walk outdoors, at least during the day. We do have a very walkable down town, Brickell, River Walk, Mid town, Design District, Kendall etc. and our Public Transportation may not be as expansive as New York subway, but it is safe, clean and will take you where you want to go without fear of getting mugged or pushed on to the tracks. The main difference between Miami and the two dumpsters you mentioned is that Miami is a clean city. Although I can not say we do not have any homeless people, the number of them is minuscule compared specially to San Francisco. We have very little crime, no tent cities, no feces on the streets nor rodents running around amongst hoodlums, trash and gangsters. In essence, the evidence does not support your statement at all. If you have any doubts as to the migration pattern, find out the reason why both NY and CA lost Congressional seats after the 2020 election while Florida won Congressional seats. That is due to Population Growth and Population Decline.
@@jorgeundertaker2827 😄yeaaaahhh - you obviously have some MAGA/political stuff going on with you here...I was just addressing the first comment and you went with your Fox News commentary! Hilarious, but thanks for playing
@@tiltsf I live in Miami and have visited the two cities you mentioned. They are both filthy and full of homeless (San Fran specially.) Opinions vary and, contrary to your statement, I respect yours. But I will tell you what is NOT MY OPINION, but a fact. Both California and NY lost congressional seats while Florida won Congressional seats after the 2020 census. That correlates with population losses and population gains. You can state your opinion and dismiss mine as "fox news propaganda" but the fact is that people vote with their feet. And the migration is towards Florida and Texas, not towards NY, CA nor IL. My house was valued at 375K in 2018. I would not sell it today for less than $900K (if I was going to sell it, am not.) I actually do not have any place I would currently rather live than South Florida. And so do hundreds of thousands of people from NY and California moving to Florida in the past three years. I see their tags around the city on a daily basis.

So often it's Emptyville when walking downtown...

*Where are the people? Is it an empty city?*
It is when it is so hot!!
