- 🔍 Ever wondered how water affects finding gold? Watch our cool experiment where we test if wetting dirt really helps find more gold! 🏞️💰
🔬 We've got two containers with the same gold in them. We set up a special sluice to see what happens when we put wet and dry dirt through it. It's like a treasure hunt science project! 🚰💦
🛠️ First, we get the dirt ready and make sure everything's fair. Then, we set up our water channel to see what happens when we put dirt in it - one with water and one without.
💎 As we watch, will the wet dirt show more gold? Or will the dry dirt surprise us? The results could change how people look for gold!
📊 We weigh the gold we find in both wet and dry dirt. Our experiment helps us learn how water might move gold around. Could this be a cool trick for finding more gold?

I had 19 dry...on the original video. I love that this was such a learning experience! And..you found more gold!! Wowzers!!
18 dry 19 wet. I still think it's more about specific gravity. Also, I don't think I was explaining myself. My idea was to run all the dirt dry, and then count your gold, then recombine everything and run the very same dirt, which is now already wet, wet, then compare results. Now, who am I to comment? If I knew anything I'd be rich. :-)
I had guessed 17 during the live… thanks for the testing of methods.
It’s always nice finding gold you didn’t know was there. 😆
Water saturation wins!
Wet unless dry washing, then the drywashed dirt must be totally dry.
Lol I knew the saturated would win
Great work fam. Nice Au indeed. Keep on having fun and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Appreciate it!
Purdy lookin gold there. Who knew you could grow gold by watering it! 😉 thanks Toby!
Any time!
This is something I would like to do when I retire
It's a lot of fun. I really enjoy it.
I’ve always ran my dirt wet. Fun experiment though. Like you mentioned I’d like to see dirt that has no gold in it before adding any gold . That way your test wouldn’t be skewed due to the unknown amount of gold. Fun test nonetheless. Great job
Great point!
I always wet my material, just the way I was taught. In all fairness, dry run, could have been lost through panning.
No need to eat your hat. But another great video. 😊
Thank you for the great giveaways!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Gold!
Have a great day

Great experiment, definitely great knowledge to have! I’d also say 19 dry !
Thanks 👍
late comment but Good luck all
I'm going with Dry 19 . I am certainly not an expert..😅, but I THINK WHAT FLOATS and us not recovered has more to do with the water flow etc. I'm just speculating. 😅
