Okolo has carried the heck out of the USA team for many years and there is no excuse why she should be without sponsor, unless, that is, she refused to do the dope they wanted to give her. So many people are blacklisted from this sport many didn’t realize (Tori Bowie was one of them after she fought Shaunae Miller Uibo…suddenly training camp accused her of owning them money, etc., when she wasn’t required to pay), and notice how slow she was when she kept trying to run fast again. The politics in this sport are nasty, and I’m feeling no reason she shouldn’t have a contract unless she refused to play the dirty game, or something of that sort.
This year, it may take to get below to 49.70 to get to top 3 at the trials. Someone might even dip below 49:00...Best of good lack. Getting to the final and getting a consideration for the relay would be a success..
Top athletes need to have a good team with a plan otherwise they may get lost in the weeds of things. She's also Nigerian so there's so much financial aid that she's not tapping into. Watch Any Roddick's podcast on how to raise money and you will learn a lot.
