      ATL could trade that SAC 1st and then their 2029 or 2030 1st. I assume Deandre Hunter would be the matching salary, and they’d prolly have to throw in Bufkin too.
      So Hunter, Bufkin, Bruno Fernando, ‘29 1st unprotected, SAC ‘24 1st (T14/12/10 protected) and a swap in like 2028 for OG and Thad Young.
      I think they’ll have offers for OG for multiple good assets. Like if GSW offered them Kuminga, whatever filler, and a 2028 unprotected 1st…that’s a really good package. That ‘28 1st is super valuable, it’s very likely Draymond Klay and Steph are all retired after 26-27. Then Kuminga still has 2y of his rookie deal left. I’d certainly rather have GSW ‘28 1st than both of ATL ‘29 1st and the SAC 1st. So it’ll really just depend what their plan is. Do they want Hunter, or are they trying to rebuild? Are they even gonna trade OG? Who knows.

    Speaking for the Mavs. I want Kuz, but I swap Omax with Josh Green because Omax has higher defensive potential compared to Josh and Mavs are weak at the wing so i personally prioritize keeping Omax over Josh.
    Why I think Wizs would still like Josh is because Josh still can be a good 2 way player (too small for Mavs). He's fast, athletic, good playmaker, and when he's on it offensively, he's a very efficient scorer.
    I do think reason why he hasn't bloomed for the Mavs is lack of confidence and too high expectations for him here so the Wizs is probably better location to play without any worries.

    Why would the Heat want Zach, a guy who plays no defense, no playmaking, and his only "ability" is to be an inefficient shooter. Seems like the writer really doesn't know anything about basketball and how the Heat got all their playoff success.
    Also why would the Sixers want DeRozan. Why would any team that wants to win a championship want an Iso player that his only ability is making midrange shots. Same as Lavine, no defense and no playmaking, but worst because he cant even space the floor. It is very different from other guys who can make midrange shots like CP3 (in his time), Kevin Durant, etc.. They could also playmake and make 3s.
    And you are right, pairing KAT with Jimmy, has this writer been watching the league??
    The Knicks should get rid of Randle ASAP. He just an inefficient ball hog who chokes in the playoffs

    • @BOnYTB
      @BOnYTB 10 місяців тому

      Kuminga and a 2028 unprotected 1st would get GSW Siakam. The issue is salary. I doubt they wanna use CP3s $ bc it coming off their books next yr will make sure they’re under the second apron. Maybe Wiggins Kuminga and another throw in plus the ‘28 1st. Ppl don’t understand how valuable an unprotected 2028 FRP from gsw would be. Their core will all be aged out, prolly all retired.
      TBH tho, OG is a way better fit for GSW than Siakam. Siakam when he was shooting 36-37% 3P sure, but he’s not that. OG would slot in perfectly.
      If they could work out a 3 team deal where Wiggins goes to a 3rd team, I think Wiggins + Kuminga + 2028 unprotected 1st for Thad & OG would be a good deal. Wiggins contract is good, he’s having a slow start to the year but he’s still valuable. Obv GSW would need to know a rough idea of what OG would want in FA. If it’s like 4/140 that’s fine.
      But ya Wiggins to a 3rd team, then Kuminga + ‘28 unprotected 1st to TOR for OG/Thad seems reasonable. Maybe GSW has to throw in like a ‘27 swap as well. But that 2028 unprotected 1st would be the best single asset TOR would get for OG no doubt.

      0% chance. All you have is your ‘27 1st left to trade…and a ‘28 swap I guess but I don’t see that having much value. OG is gonna go for at least 2 good 1sts, or like 3 meh 1sts. Mikal is even more valuable.
      OMax doesn’t rly have great value right now, he was a late pick and he hasn’t set the world on fire. There’s just too many teams that want OG/Mikal with wayyyy more assets.

    GSW owes out their 2024 1st, protected T4 in ‘24, T1 in ‘25, unprotected in ‘26. So it’ll convey this year like nearly 100%. They also owe their 2030 1st to WAS, but it’s T20 protected. So they can trade that 2030 1st and protect it 20-30, so that team would get it if it lands 1-19. That’s super valuable. If you can get a GSW 1st in 2028 very lightly protected or unprotected, or their 2030 1st protected 20-30 and either unprotected or like T3 protected…those are SUPERRRR valuable.
    Curry signed through 25-26, Draymond PO in 26-27, Wiggins PO 26-27, Klay is expiring this year…I can’t imagine them giving him a contract that goes past 26-27. Just no way. Like Steph is gonna turn 38 in 25-26, Draymond turning 37 in 26-27, if Klay gets an extension through 26-27 he will turn 37 that season also. Wiggins PO in 26-27 he’d be 31 & would turn 32 that season.
    Like I consider that LAC 2028 unprotected 1st to be prolly the best single pick out there right now. If you got a 2028 unprotected GSW 1st, it’d be one of the best for sure. In terms of upside it’d be close w LAC for the best.
    Kuminga has some pretty high upside, still has this year and next left on his rookie deal also. Moody same thing, but IMO they need Moody bc he’s a legit good role player rn for them. If GSW packaged up like CP3’s expiring with Kuminga and let’s say their 2028 1st unprotected, and their 2030 1st protected 20-30…that’s a package that can get you a VERY good player. I’d rather have those two GSW 1sts than (hypothetically) SAC’s 2024 1st, (lotto protected, we’ll assume it conveys) plus their ‘26 & ‘28 1sts T10 protected. Even throw in like a ‘27 swap T4 protected and I’d still take the two GSW 1sts vs the 3 SAC 1sts and one swap.
    I’d rather have unprotected ‘28 GSW 1st than multiple 1sts from a ton of other teams. Like BOS ‘24 and ‘26 1sts unprotected vs GSW ‘28 unprotected, it’s not close. I don’t think ppl realize just how much upside picks like that LAC ‘28 unprotected has, or if GSW traded a ‘28 1st unprotected. Idk what a STAR would be, and obviously if you can get a STAR…you’d be silly to not do it bc of Kuminga. Could they get Joel or something? Obviously not. But they could 10000% get Siakam or OG or whatever.
    Say TOR was open to moving OG. If GSW offered them filler + Kuminga + 2028 1st T4 protected + 2030 1st protected 20-30…that’d be an incredible package. My post is already too long, I’m not even a GSW fan, but just trying to get across how valuable GSW’s 1sts are in ‘28/‘30, or a ‘29 swap. A ‘27 1st isn’t as valuable, but it’d still be super valuable. But man if they put their 2028/2030 1sts on the table AND Kuminga AND a 2029 swap? That’s a legitimate star package. You’d 100% rather have that than every single one of SAC’s picks or something.
    The issue is, GSW can get out of the tax next year or close if Klay takes a deal that pays him like 28M or less year 1. Like 27M Y1 w 8% raises would be 3/87.5M basically. They’d have 11 guys and be under the tax by a million or two. So if they can’t duck the tax, they’re gonna want to duck the second apron at the very least. So I don’t see them using CP3 as a trade chip bc his $ coming off the books is huge for them next season. Maybe it’s like Wiggins & Kuminga tho, that’d be 30.3M+. I think if they could get OG (and like Thad Young as filler) for Wiggins/Kuminga and an unprotected 2028 1st they should def do it. Obv they’d need to know OG would re sign for a reasonable amount (maybe 4/140 or something) but he’d rly help them.
    Beside OG idk who is really a great fit. GPII was their Caruso basically but he’s hurt I think for a couple months? LaVine doesn’t make sense, Siakam isn’t a good fit, etc. TOR apparently got offered 3 1sts for OG last year, that was w 2y left on his deal…and it was prolly like MEM ‘24 T4 protected, (I bet they wish they did that now lmao) the GSW ‘24, and like MEM ‘28 or something like that lightly protected. Now he’s expiring, so idk what they’re gonna do. I still think they can get 3 meh 1sts for him, but they’re not getting 3 crazy premium 1sts. If they don’t want Kuminga I’m sure they could get a 1st for him from a 3rd team, and Wiggins could prolly go to a 3rd or 4th team also. Kuminga and ‘28 unprotected 1st for OG is about as good as you’re gonna get. Maybe they could get like a protected swap or something too idk.

  • @BOnYTB
    @BOnYTB 10 місяців тому

    A 2027 FRP is pretty valuable from GSW P. Their core will be in their late 30s fr. Especially if it’s unprotected or extremely lightly protected. You’d strongly prefer to get their 2028 1st tho bc nobody is under contract past 26-27 there out of the main guys (Wiggins/Steph/Klay/Draymond etc) and I don’t see Steph Klay and Dray all being in the league still for 27-28.
    So if you’re CHI and you can get let’s say GPII & Gui Santos + GSW ‘28 1st like T4 protected for Caruso? You do that ALL DAY. Obviously you try to negotiate the protection down to maybe T3. But ya GSW T3-4 protected 2028 1st, Gui, and GPII (or whatever other filler piece) for Caruso is a great deal. That’s a crazy high upside pick.

    • @BOnYTB
      @BOnYTB 10 місяців тому

      I mean Hunter is solid, but he’s missed a decent amount of games in his career. He’s also not some knockdown 3P shooter, he’s like 36% on 4att over the last 2 seasons plus this one. He also fouls a lot, like 3PF/g prior 2 seasons and so far he’s at 3.3PF this season. That’s playing around 30MPG too.
      And in 21-22/22-23 over 40% of his 3PA were from the corner, shot around 40% those 2y. 90-93% assted. Still only 36.2% on 4att from 3 those years even tho he shot 40% from corner and they were nearly half his 3PA. Right around 50% 2P for career, 50.4% last 2y plus this season. 18.5-20% USG and like 56% TS.
      2PA are 62.2% assted last 2y plus this season. Solid 66% at the rim, 41.6% 3-10ft not great, 47.8% 10-16ft is rly good, then 42% 16ft+ is solid. Also like even asst to TOV. He hasn’t been a great defender either, he’s not someone you’re v comfortable putting on opposing really good wings.
      Last 82g for Grant he’s 40.4% 3P on 5.8att. 46.5% FG on 15att. 81.7% FT on 5.5att. 21/4.3/2.3/0.8/0.9.
      22-23 60.6% TS on 22.8% USG.
      Since 17-18 he’s 58.3% TS on 21% USG. That counts DET seasons where he was basically the #1 option. Take those seasons out and he’s almost 60% TS.
      He’s also been super healthy beside the 2y in DET they were tanking and obviously were sitting him for that reason a lot of nights lol. 19-20 71/73GP, 18-19 80/82GP, 17-18 81/82GP 16-17 80/82GP, 15-16 77/82GP. His rookie year he didn’t get PT until 16g in, once he played he missed 2g.
      He gets to the line a lot and has been averaging a super efficient 20ppg since he got to POR. He’s also shown when he doesn’t have to be a top option on offense he will defend.
      Like there’s zero doubt he’s a significant upgrade on Hunter. He’s a legit 6’8-6’9 with a long wingspan, he’s even had success playing a little small ball 5. With him and Jalen Johnson, you have two 6’8+ F’s that can guard the other teams two best players that are like 6’5-6’9 and can switch at least 2-4, some 1s, and can hold up against some 5s for a minute. It’s super unfortunate JJ got hurt bc I would’ve loved to see if the 3P shooting is real. 42.5% on 2.7att in 15g so far. No way he’s a 42.5% 3P shooter, but if he can hit like 38% on 4att or whatever that’s more than enough. Dude can rebound, getting over 1stl/1blk, 66% on 2PA. He’s been amazing at the rim and from floater range.
      Dejounte isn’t the defender a lot of ppl thought he was or think he is. They need a good rim protector, and they need two big Fs to insulate their guards and be respectable on defense. Jerami can play like 35MPG, and Jalen can likely play 32 or so once he’s back. The SAC 1st isn’t very valuable, and Hunter has 4y left on his deal. Only 1y less than Grant. They can trade Hunter, the pick, and Patty’s expiring for him. Jalen is on a rookie deal for a while, same w AJ Griffin. With Trae/Dejounte/Bufkin/Griffin/Jalen/Grant you have basically all of your mins at the 1/2/3/4. I assume they’ll keep one of Saddiq or Bogdan…then they have Gueye, Bruno, Onyeka, and Capela.
      Trae/Dejounte/Bufkin/Griffin/Grant/Jalen/Capela/Onyeka, one of Saddiq or Bogdan…that’s a really good 9 man rotation. And like I said you have guys like Gueye, Bruno, plus they’ll have their own 2024 1st and can sign some vets etc.
      Idk I think JG is a big enough upgrade on Hunter to give up a pick that’ll be in the like 19-24 range or whatever. They’re trying to win now, and Grant is better now. Grant is making 10M/y more, but it’s only like 7.5M more this year and next or something around there, then 25-26 the TV $ kicks in. Also with JG & Jalen & Griffin you can prolly trade Saddiq, or if he will sign for a reasonable # you can trade Bogdan. I just think ATL would have the perfect F duo in the front court to make their POA defense respectable, both can help, and even help at the rim. Grant is a ~40% 3P shooter on good volume, Jalen seems to be able to hit corner 3s.
      Sorry for such a long post, I am not even an ATL or POR fan lol. I just think ATL needs to take an upgrade where they can get it, and this is a cheap upgrade. Grant can be a legit 3rd option and beside the guards, you’ll have 6’8+ Fs, AJ is 6’6 with a 7ft WS and can play some 2/3. Then with one of Bogdan and Saddiq, plus Bufkin…that’s a really good team.

Lemon daddy, Vincent, rui for lavine.

      If they can get away w two 6'10 players at the 4&5 and 6'9 6'8 bron and reddish with tall guards this team will be monstrous. I do think dlo isn't a great fit in LA he's not very decisive and doesn't really offer 3 level scoring with intent when they need scoring against strong teams.

    • @BOnYTB
      @BOnYTB 10 місяців тому +1

      You are delusional if you think you’re even getting offered Reaves for Caruso lol. You’re not getting Kuminga for him either. Reaves is a really good rotation player making like MLE money, he’s a valuable player. He’s obv not a star or even close, but he’s a good player on a great contract.
      It’s going to be comical to see the returns for LaVine and DeMar etc. You’ll be wishing you got anything remotely decent. LaVine is going to get them like a decent 1st and maybe some project young guy and a shorter deal than LaVine’s so they get off some of that $. If they’re willing to take on bad contracts they maybe can get two meh 1sts.
      DeMar on an expiring at his age, his return is gonna be a meh 1st and an expiring.
      Caruso it just depends. I think they’ll be asking for 2 1sts and end up with one good 1st depending (again) if they’re willing to take on bad $.
      Like I could see GSW giving up a protected ‘26 1st (next available draft language) for Caruso. Something like T6-T8 protected? Maybe they throw in a guy like Gui Santos as well.

    • @BOnYTB
      @BOnYTB 10 місяців тому

      @@adolfBBCthey badly need his spacing, and he’s been playing the passing lanes, been a solid passer as well. Rui is shooting great from 3 and is 6’8 with a 7’2+ WS, also great from middy and at the rim on a good contract.
      The last thing LAL needs is another injury prone star. And I’ve been super high on LaVine compared to general consensus. There’s really no reason for it.
      If I were LAL I’d be trying to get Isaiah Jackson from IND as a C that can play like 10-15m a night when AD plays, and like 25-28m when he misses a game. Right now they’re cooked when AD misses games especially against teams w big Cs. You can only get away with Vando/Wood 4/5 for so long, and Hayes is garbage.
      I thought LAL should’ve went after Jevon Carter in FA, he got 3/19.5. They could’ve given him like 6.7M Y1 and that would’ve been 3/21.1M, would’ve left them with $5.8M of the MLE left also. Jevon is small but he can defend 1s, he has like a 6’6-6’7 WS. He’s also a really legit spot up 3P shooter and can pass. Played 81G last year for MIL, started like 35g or something and was awesome. 3&D guards that can handle the ball are great on LeBron teams. CHI also has like 500 guards, so in Dec when he can be traded (I believe) I’d be going after him. Caruso is gonna cost way too much. I think you can get Jevon for some 2nds tbh. If they could trade Vincent and Maxwell Lewis and like their own 2030 2nd for Jevon/Drummond (and maybe Terry Taylor so CHI saves a little $) that’d be a good trade.
      As for IJax, LAL has a TPE for like 2.8-2.9M…he’s making just under 2.8. So they could absorb his contract and just send picks back. They have a lot of bigs (Turner, Jalen Smith, Obi, Jarace, etc) and prolly aren’t wanting to pay him in RFA after 24-25. LAL has 4 2nds. Idk if IND would value Hayes at all, if they did maybe you can do Hayes and like two 2nds for IJax. If not they can take on his deal and just send 2nds for him.
      I think just those moves along the margins would be great. Obv you don’t want Drummond and IJax. I’d go after IJax first bc he’s better and cheaper and can catch a lob lol. I’d def offer one of the LAC 2nds and one of their own 2nds, and be willing to either send back Hayes if they wanted him…or absorb his 2.8M in to the TPE if they prefer that. If you can get IJax for 2-3 2nds, then I’d hit up CHI and offer Vincent + Maxwell Lewis + a 2nd for Jevon Carter and Torrey Craig.

Ceiling is so high be we gotta figure out how to all click on the court at the same time. The bigs seem to play better without Mitchell same with dg. They are all more aggressive, if they kept that same mentality with him in the lineup we’d be unbeatable. Also the goddamn bench needs to get some minutes bruh like wtf JB playing 8 man rotations like we’re in the ECF 🤦🏼‍♀️I been begging for Craig to get minutes and when he finally does he plays so well, he’s the perfect distributor for a lot of those guys offensive games.
