LOVE YALL!!!
It took me breaking 5 $30-50 gloves in the first 2 years of high school to convince my parents that I needed an actual glove. I was a first baseman with a shortstop throwing 88-93 across the diamond and they thought I “broke them on purpose”. Got 2 $230 heart of the hide gloves (one 1B and one IF) and I am still using them in men’s league 8 years later with just the occasional re-lace. Worth the money easily.
Do ever go throw it in their faces and tell them you want a divorce? It's never too late.
Shut up dude
This kid grew up to be Kris Bryant, he’s still using the glove to this day.
Took me 8
and got a 280$ glove I’m 11
My father bought me a Wilson A2000 glove in 1980. Now my son, who is 11 years old, uses that same glove. Yes the inside of the glove has worn out some over the years, but it’s still structurally sound. If you take good care of these gloves, they can last a very long time. I believe that it was around $100 back in 1980. Well worth the price in my opinion.
Maybe you should buy a 300+ glove for your kid as your father did.
@@bjo3jo3 what’s the point in doing that? He just said that glove from 1980 works perfectly fine
Bro I have the excact same glove it’s pretty good you can catch like 50-75 mph balls coming at you it’s pretty good
@@bjo3jo3 Actually, I did. Got him the A2K 11&3/4’s glove. Took a while to work it in, but now it’s good to go. And, he loves it.
@@Joe-gt5lw Thank you brother. There’s always a few people out there that have to weigh in with their smart ass comments.
The best pops are from catcher gloves
Everybody knows that
Second best are first base mitts
When aldris Chapman pitches you his heater
@BROCK LEMAN not really our teams warms up slow and mine still pops hard

"you'd get like 2-3 years out of it"
The glove:
3 throws, take it or leave it
My mom, “ well stretch it
@@vika6378 how in God's green globe do even stretch a baseball glove
I ment that she will find a way to make it last longer
@@vika6378 turn it into a flower pot
It'll last a lot longer
The $30 glove would probably be OK with a re-lace job or at least re-lace the pocket.
I'm looking hard at getting a custom catchers mitt from 44 gloves for around $200 + give or take depending on how you'd like to embellish it and later a fielders glove, they have many styles and pocket designs to choose from not to mention all of the colors that you pick yourself like main color, web color, stitching, lacing etc.
I have learned from this video to never let the Lapp bros loose in a target...

Minneapolis has planes fly over it every 1 minute. I'm used to it by now
Ever get 5 planes and a car alarm in a row?
I think its not about being bothered by it.. but they are recording a vid. So it will interfere with sound recording.
Just my 2 cents
I love how he did a taste test LOL😂😋
I have a 25 year old Easton glove that my parents definitely didn't pay $300 for and it's still good (I played with it for at least 5 years). I'm starting back in Masters (over 38s) here in Australia next week and will be using it.
“Oh hey, didn’t see ya there”
Taste and pop always matter 😂 the most important qualities, honestly
$100 Mizuno glove back in high school was the best glove I ever had. Better than any $250 glove I've ever had.
No lie Mizuno gloves were always quality, but I found Nokona and Wilson were better for me.
Soft leather
no idea why im watching this, i play hockey
Same here lol
We are in a pandemic and you are tasting globe leather 😂
glove
Get over it
I’ve had too many 30$ gloves. My senior year of high school ball, I bought the yasiel puig A2000, best purchase I’ve ever made. After 4 years, glove still looks great and has broken in perfectly. Avoid crap gloves!!!
I'm in high school now and I use my dad's high school glove from 1980, a good glove will last forever
Bro I died when he tasted the gloves.😭😂😂
He always starts the vid in a random ass spot 😂
I mean, who is the 386 people that dislike the video. This is the best channel ever!!!
So I’m not the only one that chews my laces on my glove😂😂
Back in 2005 my aunt bought me an Easton Black Magic glove for like 40 bucks. 2020 and it's still my only glove, but I didn't play ball every week either though.
I love your videos good luck on getting to 200k
May not want to buy a $30 glove but you can get a glove that will last a lifetime for $75 or so easily. $300 for a glove is crazy and definitely not needed. It’s basically just a flex for rich kids trying to look like pros.
3:27 I thought it was only me that chewed of my glove LOL
Almost forgot why I clicked the video, great video, editing, creativity and got some laughs 🔥 🔥 🔥
If you’re really good you can kinda use anything as long as it doesn’t break haha
That being said, $30 glove was junk
Yep
7:19 I love that sound too. Like super duper
I love how the $30 glove is trying so hard to look like an A2000😂
To be fair it’s a Wilson a450
The $32 sign was for a Franklin and they grabbed a A450. It is still a $45 glove but not the point.
@@matthewschmiege yeah I got the same exact glove a month ago and it was 50 bucks. And last weekend I passed by target sporting good isle and well I'll be damned there was two rawlings gloves and they were 13 bucks. I bought them both and they feel incredible.
The taste matters so much when your bored in the outfield😂
i like vibe to globe pops all day
That time when you are eating your glove and you look down and you ate it all lol 😆
I guess I’m not the only one that chewed the strings😂😆
My wilson in 1954 was steer hyde for 18.00 my mother was very angry for me wasting my money. But im looking at it today and it still feeels great.
called the laces , strings. and at the beginning the 32.00 pricetag was a franklin mitt.
That second glove pop had me like “😫”
You are the best and coolest youtuber in the world!!
i used to be a first basemen and the pop was descent. but that was when i was 7 years old. Now i'm a catcher and 11 years old on a travel ball team and the pop is amazing!!!
You going to Cooperstown this year?
Subscribed for the plane humor and banter along with the simple sponsor clothing. Funny video quality made glove any day!
Cheap gloves are fine and a lot of the time better when the kids are young and don't have the strength to squeeze a high end glove. That and the velocity of a 7 or 8 year old isnt gonna break a lace. I recommend spending some money on a high end glove around 10 years old. I bought a few A2000's for my son to start working in over the next few years before hitting high school.
If you buy a good cheap glove like the Rawlings renegade first baseman glove it is 30 ish dollars and is great
Glad to see that 30 years later, players still chew on the laces like we did in the 70s and 80s. And you can tell the difference in glove quality just when you held them both up to the camera. Also, in the early 1980s, a relatively inexpensive glove ($30 in 1980s money, which was actually a little pricey) got you a really nice glove that lasted a long time. I had a Spalding glove that I bought for $30 in 1983 and I used it all the way until 1990 and it was still in good shape, though the leather where my hand rested in side the glove was worn out, the rest of the glove was still reasonably useable.
To be fair $30 in 1983 was about $90 in todays money.
I have that same A450 and have had it for 2 years and is still good.
i bought that a2000 about 3 years ago and i still have it in my junior year oh high school nice and in good condition
You are the coolest UA-cam's ever!!
the bannana shirt . where did you get that it's butiful
lmaooo the speech impediment was spot on. everyone knows a kid that talks like that and they always suck 🤣" 300 dollows"
I always chew my glove :won the championship chewing my glove loll
Ngl that’s the best 30$ glove I’ve ever seen
Bassicly there underated
I have a $60/70 (cant remember exactly) nike glove I got in my sophomore year in high school in 2008 and I still use it today. I love that glove
That $30 club is my exact same glove
Listen to that reverberation in the pop test🤤
If you play a lot of ball get the A2000. If you play a few times during the summer
get the ready-to-go glove realizing it will be loose and floppy long before the A2000.
The A2000 is an iconic glove used by many major league players...it'll last for a long time.
Can you do a part two, with rawlings gloves?
Things you never go cheap on: good quality sports gear, safety equipment, and motorcycle riding gear.
im not sure what model it is but i use my dads first glove. he got it when he was about 10-12 and now its about 35 years old and its still suprizily good
Random Dude: iT wASnT $300 Im UnSUbscRIng

7 :19 I also really love that sound.❤
her a video idea: what u want to say to your coaches vs what you say
2nd time asking 😷
And 6 years later it's still in one peace
What about softball? It is a good game. The pop on a softball glove is amazing.
I have been using my dads Wilson a3000 and it’s around 12 years old
well thats the difference between you and a good baseball player...
I got one for 350 Rawlings pro glove Brandon Crawford used the same type
Gratuitous sponsor plug start

Me - “well since you asked nicely”
I have aWilson A1000 and is lasted for about three years
I have a $160 Bradley outfielders glove that came with oil and a band
What is the best glove for 100 dollar and what is the inch I but it because I don’t the my fest time I want to but it , I throw with my right hand so I but right or left? Pls answer the question you will made my day
Shout out to Troy, because we have the same name 💪🏾
I just bought a 44 it in amazing 🤩
It amazes me that parents will easily drop $350-$500 on a bat they may use for a year or two but are reluctant to spend $300 on a glove that can last through high school and college if they get that far.
that thumb to web break in 😭
Do the catchers glove next🥺👏
I mean honestly I have a cheap glove and when I catch baseballs the ball like bounces out of my glove a bit and you really have to grip it good. But I got a 143 dollar glove yesterday and the ball stays snug in the glove. So I think that more expensive one is really good!
7:52 i laughed so hard XD
I could sleep to the pops
Bro I thought I was the only one who chewed the strings lol
My first 3 gloves where from Walmart then when I got better and my gloves breaking I got a gg elite Rawlings
Best sound is good contact with a wood bat
The best gloves are from second hand, or even 3rd, or 4th hand. In my opinion it's the only way to go.
I swear I also chew on my glove strings
Who dose not
Dude I always bite my glove I think I took a string off once lol I love the leather when I bite mind
How would the sweat get on the strings on the outside of the glove?
I spent 540 on a custom wilson A2K
Best pops from catchers gloves
Almost like the sound of a whip cracking when catching with the good glove.
You have the best impression of people who complained how it is only 270 dollars
I have a Rawlings glove and it taste so good!
$500 nzd on a rawlings 12 inch pitchers clove and still has mad pop after 7 years of use
Are used to have an A2000 I had it for three years before I broke the web just like the orange one
Us outfielders don't even need gloves if we didn't want one
I have that A2000 It is the best glove I’ve ever had
How do you get merch
Bro the 30 dollar glove is the one I used for a few years of my youth baseball
8:55 Anyone else hear "Please don't ski-" but you already skipped?
Coach “ use 2 hands when catching a pop fly”
I had a $30 glove and it lasted me 10 years of continuous use see it's not that $30 gloves are bad it's just you need to know how to find the best one also target always sells bad gloves smh
Rawlings makes the best gloves hands down.
He reminded me of chewing on the glove. I totally used to do that lol. I'm gonna dig out my glove and chew on it some more.
The taste of my glove strings have the best taste
