Sure was hoping it would wind up further west where they are desperate for the rain. Houston is the last place that needs torrential rainfall. A city built in a swamp does not do well with it. Here they go again, I have the Houston weather on TV and it's already looking bad.
Like you said buddy, it's a shame. They are probably the area of the least prepared for this type of event.

The generator is running or I wouldn't be saying howdy today.😁 Beryl has been a bugger, the WIND! It pretty much traveled straight up 288 over us to Houston after Matagorda/Brazoria. Left a war zone of tree trash, flooding, and power is out (just heard 2.2 million are without power in the area) but we are OK! Category 1 is definitely my limit in regards to staying home. Anxious to hear what Jason has to report.
