Can you show how the front uppler links mount on the axle with the 4 link setup. I bought these for my kids rig and cant figure that out to save my life.
@@Skylarkman yeah I took the two set screws out of the diff cover itself one on each side and I still didn’t feel like it wanted to come out. I didn’t want to break it their brand new. I’ll try again when I get home from work.
Hi Cape can you me any POrtal Axles say which is with tires only 19,5cm wide because our Gates in the truck trial cours aure only 24cm wide. I habe actually shorter AR44 Axial Axles unter my truck and will change to Portal Axle but so that the wide goes not over 19,5cm o 20.50cm. Have you a good adresses for order shorter make Axle for my scx10 II? Greetz Andy
I love the way the portal axles perform on my pro….but my only issue is the spur gear hits the left upper link on extreme articulation… Kind of fixed it with a smaller spur gear …but still rubs at times.
Does anyone know what steering link will fit these properly? I don’t like the fact that there’s so much thread showing on the link ends. I need something slightly wider than the stock link. Kind of wish axial included a new link with the axles.
With some tweaking I think so. I saw Matt at SBG put pro axles on his SCX10 CJ7. If the straight axles from the pro will fit, I imagine these will too.
Scx10 iii brass portal covers will fit!

Did the same to mine now I got a crazy build with the straight axles with 2.2 wheels that I have left over
They look good and performs great 😊
Are you going to build something with the straight axles you took off that'd be cool
Nice review and awesome driving skills 👍🏾🔥

Did you figure it out I just got these today and have had the entire axles off but can’t get axle tube off on either end
@MrJasonk18 there's set screws by the center section that have to come out to remove the tube.

@@MrJasonk18 of I remember correctly, remove the knuckles, take the set screws out by the diff (2 each side) and then a good tug pulled them out.

Can you flip the pinion in either set of axles to make a mullet build?

If you fully droop the out on straight axle with the 60t spur it does the same thing. Definitely an oversight during design.
Awesome video 😎 .good stuff 👍

Is is ok to only change the rear axle?
Can i switch the portal axles from my Axial Base Camp with my Scx10 Pro straight axles?
I dont wanna buy them twice. 😄
Yes you can.
Where can I get that amazing side hill table from
Crawler park
How did you get the panhard mount off the axle
The pro axles have the option for a SOA setup. I did that conversion on these.
You say you lost weight but that only due to the fact you’re not running the same brass. Stock for stock the portals should be heavier
Would these fit SCX10 III?
