Love that you built a BMW in Japan, that's exactly what I'd do too, not a big fan of JDM stuff. I would've had an M52 in there instead of the JZ, but I imagine those are trickier to find over there than in the US. Oh and they definitely made other versions of the E36 in Japan, they're just not common. A buddy of mine owned a RHD 323i here that had been imported from Japan, it was kinda weird.
J imports are common here in the UK, even normie cars get brought over(lots of Pajeros, Elgrands & bongos) but last few years a lot of J BMWs & Audis have made their way over. Weird seeing RHD german stuff on square plates.

Fun, that there is building and already driving in one video. Didn't expect that after watching this journey on Jimmy's and Grant's channel. Isn't it a radiator from TDS? Quite popular mod in Europe and you have to cut a bit of frame rails to fit it in 46. Maybe in little tweaked 36 is that needed too... ;) And those small fans mounted directly to the rad never work without shroud. I'm shocked that you, 'old wolf', stepped into that anyways :)
Shrouds actually hurt most of the time when you’re using small fans and have cool down time. Since moving 20mph has the same effect as the fans if you block the air from flowing through them at speed it works worse. Cools better at rest tho. Shrouds are for clutch fans or fans that flow 5000+cfm. I have tested this theory many times. PLUS, a shroud would never even fit on this setup

But from the beginning I had a feeling,that it will not work. Fixed and proved already? In this case with no room,maybe front fan with proper shroud? I had opel omega fan with its OEM shroud mounted in front of small e36 rad in m43b16 turbo and it was working perfectly. Something like ford Taurus solution in States,if I good remember from Wicknick's videos
Why not just buy a bunch of small case diffs if that’s all you can find. In Australia small cases are $200 and everywhere. Can drop and install a diff in close to 45 minutes

for 200hp it will hold and break some of the time. But for 350hp running on semi-slicks it will snap instantly.
