The Egg devil(speciality of Niranjan Agar) that I ate in my college days was excellent (egg covered entirely with mutton keema), but...today i.e. on 24.04.2018 (Our 16th anniversary), when I want to share that experience with my wife and son, we are very much disappointed, 1) there is no full egg, 2) there is no mutton keema, 3) its taste sweet, somthing like vegetable chop. I think the reason is the price, no one can get us a devil with full egg and covered by minced mutton at a price of Rs. 52/-. It is my request to the owners please don't compromise with the quality.
People who are complaining hygiene are the same who compliments the same food if it serves in a clean place in a manner. We can never take a glance at any kitchen in any restaurant, stop complaining.

So promised once I arrived in Kolkata I couldn’t wait to go to Niranjan Agar. It was very easy to find, use Gate number 2 to exit from Girish Park metro station. I ordered liver curry, vegetable chop, fish fry, and devil’s egg. I found liver curry to be the best out of all four. Vegetable chop was different but good, fish fry extremely bland and no taste, I was disappointed, and devil’s egg had the sweaty lamb smell that and I couldn’t even take the second spoon. The waiters were extremely helpful and bought me water bottles from outside store. The tea was very good. Overall my experience was fifty fifty.

johnson I haven't seen Gordon Ramsey and Jamie Oliver ever wear gloves while cooking even if while cutting meat so wearing gloves doesn't make one hygenic. Our moral values teach us to do things which have a concrete base rather than a hollow one so we would rather show our bad than cover it up to pretend there is no issue. Hygine is a world wide issue and yes it includes high end restaurants all over the world. 90 years have passed but we can still read Bengali and let me tell you something, we can also speak,read and write in English maybe no the entire country but every enthic group in this country have their own language and they are more aware to that ethnic language than English. + This is in Kolkata where 90% of the population can read,speak and write Bengali so the sign board is in Bengali. They actually taste good but terrible hygiene, i am from India but avoid eating in these shoddy restaurants and street food , specially Eastern India , Kolkata is the worst. There are no standard places to eat if someone is going on a road trip in West Bengal. There are cleaner restaurants in Southern and Western India. Terrible narration "keema peke geche" is no bengali !!!! ughhh
