He to me seems like a very honest singer. It seems that he genuinely means what he's singing in every cover he does. He connects with the song he's singing in that precise moment. It's just incredible. :O And he has such an amazing control in his voice. I'm a vocalist and let me tell you it is NOT easy to be able to hold a note for a long time and stay in perfect pitch and tone. People should call him "leather lungs" x). It's very rare to find artists like him any more in this world. :/
another great set ... Ya'll's songs are so contemporary, so perfect for today's young folks. And those of us from the R&H days can appreciate your wonderful music
I didn't think it was possible but this performance is even better than the other one up here. Same amazing song, same perfect performer, this is love!
jesus, i love this song so much. i want so much to be able to make music that makes people feel like i do when i hear this :) smirnoff and natty and drafting texts = stunningly accurate. oh, college!!
@Philoishness Oh this is nothing. You want to hear him REALLY sing? Check out his cover of "A Change Is Gonna Come". He sings the living daylights out of that song. And in a REALLY good way. =D
I absolutely LOVE this song. The one down side? Holding out the word "ambulance." Such a horrible vowel sound...lol. No offense against the amazing Matt Doyle...just sayin. I've sung this song a million times and still can't figure out a good placing for that vowel so it sounds good... but other than that, just brilliant!
Happy drunk, Grinding to a German techno beat. Shots all around. I'm drafting you a text. I'm typing sorry. I'm sleepy. Another night. Sadface ox. Vodka flows into any mixer you can find. Mini skirts shift. I see the lift of her ass. My pocket vibrates. I won't look. It's you again. And you're not here. She makes a pass. Screw the phone. Screw you and all your stupid rules. Are you alone? Are you dancing by yourself? 'Cause I'm out here. Alive here. We're dancing here. Chugging from the bottom shelf. This is how it feels to fall in love. This is how it feels to fall. The weakness, the sadness, The sirens, the madness. The pounding in your chest, Like you're racing the streets in an ambulance. I'm watching you. I'm watching me. I'm watching us fall. Fall. Do I see you standing across the crowded room? Like some montage or like someone's fucking dream, And I see you. In her face. In every face. Is that your scheme? I'm watching you. I'm watching me. I'm watching us… I'm so sick of parties. I'm so sick of being drunk. I hold my breath. Lips brush against my ear. But I don't feel them. Or know them. I just know you. And you're not here. Yeah, it might be the Smirnoff or all the Natty light. Yes it is weak. But there's nothing left to lose. So call me right now and I'll cave. I'll answer you and blame the booze. Time is passing but we're still drinking. Life is passing us by, We're drinking last week's alcohol. House parties are proof the world runs to chaos. I go outside and that's when I see you. And you say, Don't talk. I'm sorry. I'm scared of this. Well, I'm scared too. This is how it feels to fall in love. This is how it feels to fall. The weakness, the sadness, The sirens, the madness. The pounding in your chest, Like you're racing the streets in an ambulance. I'm watching you. I'm watching me. I'm watching us fall.
This is the most beautiful performance of "Last Week's Alcohol" ever.

This is one of my favorite K-L songs. Beautiful, and beautifully done!
Gaaaaaaah he's gorgeous and has a gorgeous voice. Makes me feel all fluttery inside.

but i gotta say, it is much more intense live ♥
Absolutely love this!
the sirens, the madness. the pounding in your chest like you're racing the streets in an ambulance
I love it. I never caught that, but it makes perfect sense with the lyrics!
Wowwww God he's sooo amazing! Love this!
Wow - this is amazing

Am I the only one who think Matt Doyle looks a bit like Ted from the Lorax movie? I'm not trying to be mean, just an observation
*I SEE IT*
@@oliviadwsa CAN'T UNSEE IT! lol
@kerriganlowdermilk AH! I caught that! Awesome!
I might be to late with the answer but I believe it's "the sirens" (as in the sirens on top of the ambulance).
I did not know that Jonathan from Gossip Girl was a Broadway performer! Jonathan was cute, but Matt is adorable!
@bsusaxplaya If you just did a very pure "eh" vowel. The only danger would be adding a phantom "n" and then it would probably sound nasal.
Where can I get the sheet music for this?
I would love to know too. I have that question for so much of their music 😭
I had no idea he could sing. I'm literally just kinda dumbstruck right here. THIS VOICE!!!
the weakness, the sadness, the ??? 2:04 (can someone pleeeease tell me? I'm german and just acn't figure the word..)
9 years late lol but he says “the sirens”
@@Vaeserys lol Thanks i got it myself now:D still a beautiful song
@kerriganlowdermilk My friends told me I was crazy when I pointed that out. Thank you for proving that I'm not.

Are you sure this is how it feels to fall in love? Feels like depression (or insert other illness here) to me lol. Might be unrequited love?
Stop moving the camera!
