    I bought this Kore gun belt to try out as a possible concealed carry belt and so far the belt has been great. Very comfortable and easy to cut down to size. I bought one in black and am thinking of getting one in brown.

    Used the Kore belt daily over last few weeks. It works perfectly. The trakline's ability to adjust in 1/4in increments is perfect for keeping a CCW close to the body without printing, as well as, provide a perfect fit with or without carrying. Highly recommend and will purchase another color belt soon.

      Try getting your Kore belt wet. In under 5 minutes it will partially FAIL. It will delaminate. This could cause the belt to break. All 3 of my Kore belts after 4 years have delaminated to some degree or another. Any belt that can fail can cause you to have LEGAL trouble by making you hand-hold your pistol after your belt fails.

    Six weeks ago I bought both a Kore Tactical gun belt and the BladeTech/Nexbelt Ultimate Carry Belt to try out and compare. I carry a Glock 19 appendix, Incog holster, wallet and a cellphone so the belt needs to support a good amount of weight. I noticed the first week that I preferred the release tab on the Kore belt, so I started wearing it exclusively to work. Then this past weekend (week #6) I decided to wear the BladeTech Nexbelt to an event with my wife. About mid-way through the event I noticed my holster moving around quite a bit and went to the restroom to check what was going on. I noticed that one of the screws that holds the two piece buckle together was gone. My wardrobe malfunction required a discreet trip to the car to remove my gear. At the time when it broke, I had worn the Nexbelt maybe 7 times, so I was less than impressed. A funny part of this story is that I mistakenly sent an email to Kore customer service about the problem, instead of Nexbelt. In less than an hour Kore responded with swift instructions on how to get a replacement buckle. It was then that I realized my mistake. I only mention this because I was blown away by customer support responding over the weekend. In contrast, I have yet to get a response after a few days from Bladetech. I'm not saying that's a terrible thing as it's only been a few days, but it's not as awesome as the Kore customer service experience. My Kore gun buckle and tactical belt has been used roughly 36 days now and is still rock solid. Add to that the excellent customer support and my choice is Kore from here on out.

    I’ve purchased 4 gun belts and buckles from Kore Essentials. I've given 2 away as gifts. Superior products in every respect. Both as a general belt and most importantly an EDC gun belt. I carry 9mm pistols. There is absolutely no twisting or breakdown of these belts in any way. I've tried tactical and other style belts. None of them fill the all around tactical and dress the way a Kore belt does. Thanks guys !!!

    KORE makes the Best Gun Belt ever owned. I recently bought my second reinforced belt from them, a heavy-duty brown belt this time. These belts are absolutey GREAT. Very sturdy, no give or folding when used with holster. So easy to adjust. Put IWB holster in place and just pull the belt and "click click" it's perfectly adjusted to the right tension. I recommend to anyone who carries. GREAT belt for non carry too.

    Love the Kore belt
    I bought the Kore gun belt and so far it's great. It works great as both a gun belt and just as a regular belt. I think every belt I buy from now on will be a ratcheting style belt. As far as a gun belt, it's shines there too. It's not too thick but very ridged. I use an IWB holster and so far there are no marks on the belt from the holster clip. What a great belt. I'm very particular about things and I can easily say I would buy this belt again and again. (but the quality is such that I don't think I will need to)

    After several failed attempts to obtain a comfortable gun belt for EDC the Kore Essentials belt met all my expectations. The quality rigidity, comfort and price filled the bill. I would highly recommend this belt to anyone looking for one. Another feature that was really important was that being a big person the belt was plenty big and it allowed me to adjust it to my size with no problem.

    So far my Kore belt has been awesome. It holds my S&W 9mm 2.0 compact with NO problem. It's a solid gun belt. If you have back issues this is the belt for you. I've had 3 back surgeries and usually can't wear a belt for a long time. Let me tell you, with this belt being stiff if distributes all the weight and pressure equally all the way around your waist. I love the quarter inch adjustment. I can wear this belt all the time with with a iwb holster. I wear this belt with and without my gun, it's that good.

    I was hesitant about spending so much for a Kore gun belt simply because it was stiffer than the other gun belts. It's proven to be a great decision. I will buy another. They are firm, though its very comfortable. I can wear an IWB holster and almost forget it's there. For anybody unsure - I can say you won't be disappointed with the Kore gun belts. I have a linx 1" belt, trackline/kore gun belt, and just got this tactical nylon. I should have bought the kore first! I literally just got the nylon belt. I love the look and feel. There is no roll, and I have no doubt it will handle the concealed carry mode I bought it for. I bought a nice thick leather belt and it just couldn't adjust the way I wanted it to. The ratcheting belts are the stuff! Comparing the trackline/kore to the nexbelt I see that the kore buckle is spring loaded, and the nexbelt uses a magnet. I prefer the spring loading. If the nexbelt has problems I'll just switch out the buckle.

    • @SnareMan

    Snareman for those that don't know kore gun belts are the original gun belts that ratchet and more important they are stiffer and better made materials. I had the nextbelt and it was not as stiff and as well made.

    • @SnareMan
      @SnareMan  5 років тому

      The newer Nexbelts are actually a lot stiffer than the original ones. For me, the originals were perfect and actually don't like the newer stiffer ones as much. The Kores (see my vids on them) are I think even a step stiffer.

    This belt as ridges that are likely to scratch your leather seats in your car it wore mine down had you put a seat cover over it. Probably not very common two others I deliver paper so I reach over passenger-side a lot. After wearing inside waistband holster belt has formed to that holster and makes it hard to carry another without the belt digging into your back. Been using this belt for about eight months. Its strong light weight with very little sag, Good built for the price.

    • @SnareMan
      @SnareMan  5 років тому

      Hmm... I wear this belt 4-5x/week with a shirt tucked in and have leather seats and haven't had any problems.

    • @Gogetter0118
      @Gogetter0118 5 років тому

      Ya probably not very common two others as much as I reach over passenger-side (right side, console side of seat is where most damage is where the seat pops out to “hug” the driver) and i also constantly pull bundles from the backseat to the front (driver side has light scratches nothing like otherside though). Im also 32 inch so there is no extra me to help protect seat lol
      I appreciate you telling me about their leather belts. I’m about to make another purchase soon, is that the new tactical belt you did the video on as course of a material? From the look I d probably be better off with leather

      So yeah after 80 miles 600 customers (300 hundred reaches out each side of vehicle) 4 days a week it wouldn’t matter if your shirt was tucked in or if you had a jacket on as much moving as I do inside the vehicle the seat got scratched up but for the average Joe who just sits and drives 10 mins or so to and from work should be just fine.

    My experience with the lighter color nylon belts is they do discolor over the years. I would recommend going with black nylon belts where possible. They also fray over time, even with factory cut ends. With that said I do prefer nylon over leather. You get leather wet its pretty much finished. Quality leather is also heavy and smells. Great review as always. The Nexbelt's lack of a retainer at its price point is not good, you can't always rely on pants/shorts to have a belt loop in the right place. I would be interested in hearing if the belts release mechanism can be accidentally activated.

    • @SnareMan
      @SnareMan  7 років тому

      I guess it depends on how you wear them as far as them getting dirty. I've been wearing that tan Wilderness Tactical belt I show for years and it still looks almost brand new.

    • @SnareMan
      @SnareMan  7 років тому

      On the mechanism, I'm not really concerned about that happening. I suppose if you got really "lucky" and something looked that small little lever it could happen, but that would have to be quite the coincidence for it to happen.

    • @saxonlight
      @saxonlight 7 років тому

      I have a 5.11 tan belt I have had for about 7-year it's a bit patchy color wise It could be UV from the sun perhaps. When it gets dirty I throw it in the wash, which is another reason to buy nylon. A minor detail I guess given the long life of the belt... it's still going. =)

    • @SnareMan

    I was on the fence between kore & next/bladetech.4 months ago.the cheep looking plastic belt tip caps or whatever they are started popping up everywhere.got confusing so went kore nylon.heard it's" less stiff" than earlier nylon version but hope it breaks in more .it should in time.comfortable but that strap looks plenty stiff enough and easier to use right out of the box.can't buy them all.I can't but some people may keep buying more and more trying to find perfection.carry S&W 66-2,2.5" in OWB Garrett industries STX with leather straps & pull dot snaps.straight drop.3 o'clock ,& sometimes up front .can't tell it's there under a t-shirt.it's good.365 xl soon.Will figure something out when the time comes.

      @SnareMan  4 роки тому

      The tips on the Nexbelt's are leather. It's nice actually. My favorite was the original nylon Nexbelt. I thought it was the perfect amount of stiffness, which is to say, not very stiff, but was still great for holding a gun. The new ones are too stiff for my tastes. I have the new Kore as well (check out my video on it) and they are less stiff than the original Kore. Still prefer the original Nexbelt, but they don't exist anymore. Kore makes a great product.

    I have one of these. after very minimal wear the notch on the buckle that locks into the track started to lose spring tension and the belt would slip. wouldn't stay locked in place. and I mean very minimal use. contacted next belt and they were awesome and sent me a replacement buckle asap. now after a few more weeks of off and on wear it's starting to slip also. Not as bad as the first but my guess is after a couple more weeks it will be the same. they need to redesign the spring or something. wondering if you've experienced this? wonder if this would be an issue with all track belts?. think I'll try the Kore belts next. this belt looks awesome but has a major flaw in design.

    • @mitchellteeters4610
      @mitchellteeters4610 7 років тому +1

      Shawn Bowen has the issue worsened? I have a kore gun belt, and just received this belt. I like it a lot. Worse case scenario I can use the kore buckle. You can also order the kore buckles separately.

    • @shawnbowen6833
      @shawnbowen6833 7 років тому

      Mitchell Teeters
      I wouldn't say it's worsened but it has slipped on me a couple times out in public which is not good when carrying. Once while I slightly bent forward and once while just walking. It hasn't gotten nearly as loose as the first one though. The first one wouldn't even lock on the first half of the track. Now that I know I can buy a kore buckle by itself I may go that route next and try it. The track belt idea is genius and once you have one you don't want to go back to regular buckles. But there needs to be a more solid design.

    • @mitchellteeters4610
      @mitchellteeters4610 7 років тому +1

      Ok I looked at the belts again. I have a linx 1" non gun belt, the kore/track line belt, and the nexbelt. If you want the tactical nylon you have to go nexbelt. The trackline buckle is spring loaded while the nexbelt uses a magnet. That might explain the lack of strength in the ratcheting. There is a notable difference.

    • @shawnbowen6833
      @shawnbowen6833 7 років тому

      Mitchell Teeters
      Well the belt finally gave out bad. It's now as bad as the first and slips horribly. I can latch it and get it to pull back out sometimes up to 5". I've had it slip in public a few times. Not good! I ordered a kore belt now and just got it. I can actually see the spring on the kore buckle. Hopefully it holds up better. I really wish the next belt would have lasted. I loved the design of the buckle and the canvas belt but man, for $60 it's not worth it at all. Only lasted a few months of minimal easy wear!

    • @mitchellteeters4610
      @mitchellteeters4610 7 років тому

      Shawn Bowen is it the plastic ratchet portion that quit on you or the buckle? Just change out the buckle if that is the problem. I would certainly contact nexbelt to get a warranty exchange.

    I picked up a nexbelt last month but it wasn't stiff enough to support my rig cause it rolls and my rig is sub compact. Then buckle broke. They said they'd replace it but the belt was not doing to trick so whats the point.

      How much stuff are you carrying? It did fine for me. The newer ones are actually a lot stuffer. Actually a little too stiff for everyday wear for me. I thought these original ones were perfect. I guess it depends on when you got yours which one you got

    How would you rate this belt compared to the Ares Gear Aegis belt? I carry a full sized pistol and spare magazine iwb on my appendix, and sometimes a 2nd compact pistol at 4 oclock iwb.

    • @SnareMan
      @SnareMan  5 років тому +1

      So, the belt in this vid is a little more pliable, but they have since redesigned them and they are much stiffer. I think the Ares is still stiffer. I've carried compact and full sized guns on this with no problem. I thought this original version was the 'perfect' belt. Comfortable enough for every day at work (with no gun) and great for carrying a gun. I wear this belt pretty much daily and almost never wear the Ares, both still being great belts.

      @@SnareMan thanks for your reply. I recently picked up the Ares Aegis belt and I'm very pleased with it, as its much easier to take on and off than my old SOE EDC belt with the cobra belt buckle (thank god I lost so much weight and needed a new belt, I had no idea how much better and more convenient they have gotten in the last few years). Still, I may look into one of these in their leather gun belt configurations to wear at weddings etc. Thanks for doing these reviews, they are very well done.

    Guys, look into Grip 6. Cheaper and better lock mechanism from what I'm reading. Has carried my Glock 43 for over a year now. Judging by comments, and by these guys font choice, this is $20 more expensive knock-off.

    • @SnareMan
      @SnareMan  6 років тому

      This is a knock off of which belt? The ratchet style on these is entirely different than the Grip6 buckle. What does the font have to do with anything? Also depends on which style looking buckle you prefer.

    • @FeatheredTails
      @FeatheredTails 6 років тому

      Yes, the buckle design is different, but it's more complex and the increased number of parts to the buckle increases the number of ways it can fail, and judging from comments, it WILL fail. Grip 6 is the best belt I've ever bought and unless I get a bigger gun the only other belt I would buy is a klik. The nexbelt is overpriced garbage. Buy a Grip 6. $35 and it should last you for life.

    • @FeatheredTails
      @FeatheredTails 6 років тому

      SnareMan so if I make a cola and use the same font as Coke, that's not a problem, right? Oh right, copyright infringement is a thing.

    • @SnareMan
      @SnareMan  6 років тому

      I haven't tried the Grip6 so I can't comment on them, but I have worn the Nexbelt pretty much daily with and without a gun on for the past year and haven't had a problem with them. They are far from junk. You can argue cost and value, but as you say, there are more moving parts to the Nexbelt and Kore belts compared to the Grip6 so it would make sense that they'd be more expensive. They both have similar thin fonts, but the names don't share any of the same letters so I don't know if they are the same font or not. The Grip6 look like nice belts, but personally I like a little larger looking buckle or a buckle with a little more design to it. Their hexagonal one looks nice perhaps. I'm not knocking the Grip6 at all, but the Nexbelts are nice belts.

    • @SnareMan
      @SnareMan  6 років тому

      BTW, I hadn't seen the comment below about his buckle slipping until just now somehow (UA-cam keeps screwing with their messaging and notification system). I haven't had any of those problems with mine though, but it sounds like they did get it taken care of for him. Have you actually owned a Nexbelt to say they are junk? I don't have anything vested in the company. They did send me some free belts for the review, but I liked them enough that I bought some more on my own.

    • @ej2659
      @ej2659 6 років тому

      SnareMan It just seems like a flawed design from the start. Anything with gears and or springs is going to eventually fail. The Aegis belt has the same locking system that has been used on belts for many decades.

      I get what you're saying about what "should" seem to be, but like I said, I have the experience have having worn these almost daily for 20 months and haven't had a single problem. Having seen commercials for these ratchet type belts on TV I always thought they were a gimmick, but I'm not a believer. Wait, before buying a belt from "Nexbelt" be forewarned! They will not stand behind their product, and when they find a flaw with their design, even if your order was made 3 days before they implement their updated version. They will ship from their old stock and will not take a return or exchange it. The rigid click section of their belts will break, and no they will not replace it. If you ask to purchase a replacement strap they refuse and make you buy a complete belt instead. Really lousy customer support! There are way to many quality gun belt manufacturers out there. I would rather pay more for a belt like an S.O.E. tactical gun belt than buy 2 of their inadequately made belts. Save yourself some money and get a good belt, this is a "gimicky" piece of junk!

      @@SnareMan Excellent review of the nexbelt!
      I was referring to the belt and the fact that it must be sized, defrayed, and buckle installed before wearing.
      Also the fact that the belt is actually not infinite size considering the ratcheting mechanism goes in quarter inch increments. Sure the ratcheting is small enough that will likely not be noticed and may be a non factor, but all things considered I will be passing on what I'm sure is a great belt.
      Sorry for the confusion from my initial comment. Great review and thank you for introducing me to the wilderness tatctical belt.
