Good question. It comes down to practicality. Inline singles are quite expensive and although I have tried them, and I agree, it can be better for the fish, however, I experienced a lower capture rate on small fish like whiting bream and flathead. So the cost didn't justify the financial outlay.
What lures do you use in winter if it’s cast from land ? I was using a wrong lure and some kind guy told me not to use top water lures as they float and they aren’t effective during winter. Thanks.
Hi. There's no reason not to use a top water lure for bream. I agree that fish are deeper down in winter but bream do feed on the surface. Whether they only feed on the surface in summer is not something I'm aware of.... will have to see what others think. I can't say I've ever seen a difference but it's quite possible that plastics fished on the bottom are more effective in winter...makes a lot of sense
Hi. They're semco boxes, from spotlight 🤔 find them in the sewing section.... $4 for 60mm and $7 for the 75mm. Skip the expensive tackle boxes from anaconda😂
Thank you, for the overall great description!
Thanks for watching, I hope you benefitted from the video in some way that will help you improve your catch rate
Nice stuff. I use mustad fastach clips never had a failure or lure drop off. Twist on or off.
yeah i use to use snap swivel but have since swapped to fastach. i live by that now hey.
As you are a catch-and-releaser, why don't you use inline singles rather than trebles? Thanks for the video.
