👍👍👍. A reminder always worth watching. My MO in Southern Africa after coming in after an Ops / Patrol was .. Hydrate / refill Water Bottles. Clean Weapon, top up Magazines / check Gear, etc. Clean Up / Shower. Chow. Then off to the Base Canteen for refreshments (if available). One instance, after a Small Company-Sized Op. we came, late afternoon into a small border base for an overnighter before being transported the next day rearwards to our Company Base. It had been a busy, hot and thirsty week and, despite my advice to my specific Patrol (Valk) Colleagues, they were eager, as with many of the other Company Members, to get to the tiny Base Canteen for some Cold Refreshments (Beer (rationed) Soft Drinks, Snacks, etc). I 'did my thing' and after finishing a nice refreshing cold shower (I was the only one showering), and then going off to forage for some 'scoff' (food), the water tank ran dry (the base well pump had failed). The Base Canteen stock had not lasted long and later entreaties aka begging, from my Colleagues for content from my now topped-up (6) Water Bottles went unheard 😁. I was hydrated, restocked and slept 'clean' that evening .. less so the others 😁. Yep .. 'look to your gear first' and then go off and plunder the flesh pots and such 😏.
Redlock They did give out a few M05 Hammer moral patches back when M05 camo was released for civilian markets. I suppose the only way to get those is to try and buy then from a person who has one :D
Alezezbauz In addition to being cool, these guys are smart too. Since it is their company logo I bet we will see the patches again. With the Thor's hammer being in the movies, we can't neglect Ukonvasara!
Good Video! But isn't hat a problem for clothes if you leave them completely unwashed? Sweat etc. is full of salt and that might be not that good if you really want to spare your gear of look out for the maintenance of your gear?
