Its pronunciation
45/50, Caribbean, noticeable, skilful, supersede and occurrence got me 😅 and I think your bling with a smile was cute!!!
i got 45 and i am year 6 by the way it was on my second try.
Got 48/50, I will engage on a spelling bee tomorrow and I misspelled the words fluorescent and hierarchy. Thanks for the video, there's a lot more to learn!
As a native speaker and English teacher, this is hard for students but I'm proud to get 48 out of 50
Agree with you. The lesson should be held slowler. Too fast presentation
Well, in this case it's not shameful to score around 35 being non-native and being confused by British-American impacts. (e.g. skillful or judgement is correct according American spelling - and what's more: they are much more logical to memorise)
Come on. You have to get 50 over 50 if u r English teachers.

Dear Lucy, Thank you for this nice idea for a test! I am not a native speaker but I learned English at school for several years and was an exchange student quite a few years ago (*realizes getting old*). During the test I had to notice that I only got 39 out of 50 words correct. So I have to continue learning... Therefore I really appreciate your Lessons here on YT and like to listen to you in my pastime!

I really liked this spelling test! I got 47/ 50.
I wrote noticeable as noticeble for years without ever noticing that I was wrong.
I misspelled Outrageous as Outragious, and lastly I wrote Sergeant as Sergent
Score 36/50. (56yo Australian). I was surprised at this, as I have always loved the complexities of the English language. Misspelled words: Accommodate, Caribbean, Embarrass, Hierarchy, Judgment, Medieval, Mischievous, Noticeable, Occurrence, Pastime, Rhythm, Skilful, Supersede, and Twelfth.

The way she knows my mistake in judgement really amazed me☠️
actually for "judgement," dictionaries usually accept both "judgment" and "judgement"
Moreover, dictionaries acknowledge the "judgEment" spelling as more British.
Since this is a british english teaching channel, she's showing "judgement" only
@@bismuthezoid Actually, in the video there is only "judgment" (no extra E) in the word's position on the list (that is no. 20).
However, although the "judgEment" spelling is ascribed to Britain, the dictionaries do not acknowledge that other one as specific to American English, for instance. So it is likely that in the UK they both may be used interchangeably.
Pay attention to the definition of the word "to gauge" in number 18: the word "judgement" is used there, so I agree that it's ok to use both

English Is hard, isn't it.
Thank you for your time ❤
If you already know Spanish or any other romance language, you probably know many of these words in advance, like medieval or fluorescent (in our case, the main difficulty is pronunciation, more than spelling). That's why I never found English spelling particularly challenging. I believe it must be worse for people who speak languages that are entirely unrelated to English. Great video btw.
I will try again with your video

8:42 Both “JUDGEMENT” and “JUDGMENT” spellings are right. Isn’t it ?
Yeah, The spelling varies based on whether you're writing UK or US English. In US English, “judgment” (no “e”) is the only correct spelling. In UK English, “judgement” (with an “e”) is standard, but “judgment” is used in legal contexts.
