Thank you for this of course. Although I live in the London area, the ATV Zoom 2 ident-by far the best of any ITV ident there ever were-could only mean one thing of old-that it was time for Crossroads of course. Indeed so too, that I am getting quite emotional about it too! Well done too.
Really love your recordings of intros... they are honestly amazing and appreciate them very much... but not the added vocal ident sorry...otherwise this is I think my favourite startup theme
Hi Paul. Hope you enjoyed the video and it is getting a fair amount of interest, which I expected. Your suggestion is very good and perfectly possible. However, the ATV Zoom had to follow on very closely to the end of the music as it is still under copyright. The same tactic had to be used on Grampian as well. Best wishes, Nigel.
Yes. It's more jolly. But for the 70s a lot of the ITV companies wanted to 'modernise'. Composers like Johnny Pearson were much in demand. All the best to you.

How about the Zoom 2 form up over the last few notes of Midland Parade instead!

Yes I'll Remember ATV Loved The Music Bring Back Happy Memories Before Central In 1982
It’s an ok theme, but I don’t really like it as much as Sound and Vision.
