Thank you firefighters for your hard work containing these fires. Stay safe
Wish they would say no fireworks in AZ and New Mexico. Other than specials set up with firedepartments there.
Unfortunately this does little to discourage people in California from lighting off fireworks that are already illegal in the state.
Thanks for the information and best of luck to all in the dangerous weather
The worst part the temperature it’s about 111 F as right know, just the firefighters with that garment I pray for them.
Next time try not using 4-6 year old stock footage of fires to build up your story. Makes you guys look lazy.
I guess they think we’re stupid about our own state like they think we’re stupid about our own government
it's because they are
Thankless job and in this heat. Does the state not do controlled burns to remove underbrush, etc.
They do, we do, and the state is kind of big, and in place many places controlled burns are not allowed because of too close to people. and they can't cover the whole state every year. Anything else you've got on your mind?
@@californianorma876 - heh heh, good response.
I don’t know if this one is a troll, but they have been out in force with these themes when it comes to reports on our [CA] fires.
So Sorry😪
🙏 for the wildlife.
Califirnia has nssty weather! Californians heed , the Nat'l Weather Service
The fire is not bringing the heat. Why would you say that?😮
😂 I noticed that mistake too. I don’t think it was on purpose.
Also, it was ridiculous that they only showed temps for capital and largest cities. So in California’s case, it showed 2 COASTAL (I.e., COOL) cities: Los Angeles & San Francisco (74 & 83 degrF 🙄), while they were trying to say the state is having extreme high temps.
They point out our Central Valley (1/2 the state), but don’t provide any examples of temps. We’re talking 108-110+ today. My hometown of Redding is expected to have highs of 117 on Friday, 118 on Sat.
Hastily assembled fire & “weather report” I assume.
How ridiculous you've never heard of dangerous weather where do you live another planet?
Just paint your roof blue and you’ll be fine.
After working in forestry for over thirty years, I know a little about fires and forest management to keep them at a minimum.
*AND CALIFORNIA?* Is doing exactly what they *_SHOULDN'T_* be doing! When you don't allow any logging of the older dead trees (and there's a LOT of them for many reasons) you supply massive amounts of fuel for a fire.
Even if they would go in to clean the forest floor a little, it would help. Instead California bans any type of management, almost *_BEGGING_* for massive fires!
Let this sink in..... California is the *_ONLY_* state where insurance companies are canceling fire insurance for homeowners! And there are *MANY STATES* that have the same amount (or more) of forest acreage and dry heat!
_This can be laid _*_SQUARELY_*_ at the foot of liberalism! 'In short? _*_Gavin Newsom._*
Very odd to not allow forest management. Makes one wonder if there is an agenda.

I gave up trying to understand the _insane_ mind of a liberal long ago. 🤣
Oh, wild forest fire starts again? We miss all the snow & rainwater in CA this year. FREE Pacific Ocean water with salt content should increase burning point. ..Commercial airliners carries weather modification chemicals can help also!
This is an annual occurrence. What is the common denominator? How can this state burn itself down to the ground year after year? California needs to ban matches and all types of fire starting devices. Anyone caught rubbing two sticks together should be investigated.
Wow so many biden big donors pulling out
Yeah, there’s always fires because Gavin Nelson hasn’t cleaned the forest here ever says he’s gonna do stuff he never does. That’s why California is always on fire because there’s no maintenance in the forestry.
I wondered. Florida has a dry season and lots of pine forests and we burn underbrush in controlled burns every year because we get a lot of lightening storms.
We DID before the Europeans took over. Curious to know, what your background is. And if you live on stolen land. Because the Native Americans took good care of the land.
National Forests are national responsibility, not state’s.
@@janisandersen2822 I was talking about both state and national. BLM and National Forests and state are not the only places massive fires start. We burn over both. Proactive seems to be a non starter in Democrat run states.
@judesharp6185 now explain the catastrophic fires that just ripped through New Mexico and that giant one that killed thousands of cattle in Texas.
California is always on fire because it's a state that relies on fire for its natural ecology. If you don't understand something, just say that instead of what you said.
Clicked this by accident…
Legacy media still sucks.
What is the alternative? UA-camrs rambling on about stuff they don't know much about and almost all covering the same few news items? Often which amounts to inconsequential gossip?
