Thank you so much. This is really helpful. I have been haggling with editors to make quality figures for my papers. Just saw this. Fantastic. Just did it. Can't be happier for my paper to be accepted. God bless you.
Thanks! Its more conveniet and fast to watch the vid rather than to read microsoft support post! I really what is the reason of not building in this option in the powerpoint itself (i mean menu)
I tried step by step didnt work the only difference was my P.P. was not under office 14.0 but under office 15.0, so after save it even in different formats didnt change from the 96 dpi :( any additional help ????
I have Windows 10 now 64bit. Will your steps work? What is the QWord 64 bit below DWord 32bit? Others say to say slide as pdf, go to photoshop, save as a hi resol image like TIF. But I want to use jpeg. Not certain what to do.
Thanks, make sure that you created 32-bit (always!) DWORDs on all powerpoint versions installed on the system (in case if you have more than one, e.g. 14 and 16).
It didn't work and then it worked. what I found that I did wrong first was to select "options" under PowerPoint Viewer, instead of Powerpoint (which is just above). Lesson: be sure to check your work and modify the correct item
I showed this to my IT guy. He was glad he wasn't here while I did this. But it worked! Thank you!

Does the resolution actually get better, or is it simply saved with a higher DPI in "Properties"?

a very important comment, thank u
superrr
sorry but its not working for me
Look at the video on JustJerstin if you don't want to listen to corny music and if you actually want some one to vocalize the process.
Def doesn't work
The freaken music Is SO ANNOYING
Did not work 64-bit Power point 2016
You have to put on 32bit only, PPT export on 32bit... PPT runs on 64bit but exports on 32bit :)
Thank you! It works!
Thanks very much.
