Seeing that final scene with N and M for the first time really brought the whole game together for me. That and it brought back my favorite image from Xenogears; two one-winged angels who can only fly together.
Note that after chapter 5 the tension tends to decrease. In fact, all the issues left pending are resolved and in particular the team puts its heart at peace. We see Eunie getting rid of D, Lanz who can apologize to Joran, Noah finding out why Cris had jumped, Sena finds out why Shania did what she did, Taion protects Nimue and especially Miyabi is resurrected. At first I also had not found a good reason for the resurrection of Miyabi except to have an extra hero, but then I thought back to when Mio says "I have already accepted my death because I should not be the one alive". If they hadn't brought Miyabi back to life, could Mio really have beaten his inner moebius? Especially after another person has sacrificed himself to save her?
Honestly, I think most of the story decisions the community didn’t like at first make a whole lot more sense when you look at the party as having and/or being Mobius.
@@samm.8052 Yup. Some didn't like it because chapters 6 and 7 didn't raise the stakes and tension like how the previous games did. But thematically and narratively, they all make sense.
Yeah the pacing could’ve been a bit better and I still wish they did SOMETHING else with X and Y, but there’s not many things I’d add to the plot because it’s narratively and thematically coherent. Though it is pretty funny how we never see Ouroboros!Noah use the big sword from his chest again, after all the big deal X made about it. Sometimes we have to dig deep to understand what’s going on
Let's fiiiind the key we've lost As all the people cry in vain Just try to live your life The endless sky where I can fly Tell me what you're thinking? Tell me what's your way The end is always here This world locked up in a WARRRR
I need a bigger gun No I kidding don't worry here is the next lyrics There is a voice that save your heart and my soul And the Sun goes down with all my faults So where's is your feeling and where is your life ? All the cloud hang dark no one is ever seen
Its also interesting how even at the very end both Noah and Mio are given the choice to perpetuate the endless now. In the end choosing to break the cycle. The temptation showed itself one last time before the worlds where set in motion for good. Finally allowing them to evolve and be their true selfs in their respective worlds.
Your videos are so excellent. I came out of XC3 a bit disappointed but your analysis really helps me to look back and appreciate parts that I missed or didn't tie together on my own. Your presentation of information with text and cutscenes and music choices really makes these enjoyable as well as informative. Thanks so much for sharing your observations on the internet!
I'd love to get your thoughts on this as you appear to be an highly introspective individual. After DLC 4's ending cutscene, (seeing Aionios seperate FROM a different dimension ) shows beyond the shadow of a doubt Aionios was completely a virtual creation of Origin's memory data separate from Alrest and Bionis. Both Bionis and Alrest was frozen in time PRIOR to the intersection (remember 2 planets garden scene in chp 10) and Aionios was generated by Origin (Z) metaphysically creating a space time anomaly stripping the time axiom from real life and Mobeius used reincarnation, life cycle to facilitate this illusory world in this new dimension. When Origin booted up at the end of XC3, the virtual world Aionios slowly separated (Mio and Noah running scene) and coincided with the locations of Bionis and Alrest frozen in time. Time continued. Planets collided at the end of DLC 4. And we saw 1 universe booted up at the end. This is my profound theory regarding XC3 and DLC 4. Z has generated Aionious in this manner using photon communication in between Origin Arks the moment they were visible in the observable universe. He intercepted that photon communication right BEFORE physical collision and created Aionious using Origin's Morphed XC1 and XC2 data. Chp 7 cutscenes show it clearly imo. What do you think about this incredibly nuanced understanding of XC3 and DLC 4 I've heard nobody express this well. My interpretation explains all plot holes other theories need to wave away as 'symbolic expression'. We see Bionis and Alrest frozen in time as 2 separate planets in chp 10 garden scene and from Aionios - a different space time - we are looking at it. The final cutscenes of DLC 4 does a similar thing showing Aionios separate BACK into how things really are in a virtual manner and from a different dimension with waves and frequencies. We also see how planets form more 'solid matter' at its peak before colliding immediately and Origin booting up. What do you think?

One Winged Angels? Hmmmm
Just kidding, i know exactly what are you talking about from Xenogears, and i'm so happy that 3 had so many callbacks to it

As all the people cry in vain
Just try to live your life
The endless sky where I can fly
Tell me what you're thinking?
Tell me what's your way
The end is always here
This world locked up in a WARRRR
I need a bigger gun
No I kidding don't worry here is the next lyrics
There is a voice that save your heart and my soul
And the Sun goes down with all my faults
So where's is your feeling and where is your life ?
All the cloud hang dark no one is ever seen
It’s not the cards that life deals
Anyone can alter their situations by
Not standing around accepting
All the abuse and devastation
I love that X is still technically relevant despite not being part of the bigger Xeno story.
@@samm.8052 it's what you're thinking but I saw some suspicious element like...Zohar. There is maybe more.
Anyway related or not X is goaty !

Dreams in objects, and inheriting other people’s dream and will, what is this, One piece?
The One Piece is real
The Xenopiece is reeeeal!
and then all the monados came together and they all said "THE XENOBLADE IS REALLLLLLLLL"

If that music actually played over the nia explaining aionios cutscene that would’ve been so sweet and amazing

So beautiful.
Thanks
