I love donating to the Children’s Hospitals. My daughter was sick a few years ago and stayed in the hospital about a month. Everyday she received gifts…books, play dough, babies, games you name it they spoiled all the hospital kids. It was so amazing! Since then we gift them a car full of stuff each year around the holidays. My daughter loves picking out things for the sick kids. It was such a blessing to look forward to a new baby to cuddle or a book to color each day. It’s a beautiful system they have.

I picked up a lot of toys this year to donate to Toys for Tots.
I pick a family that I hear about, through family and friends. There is always someone that some of my family knows, who is having an especially hard time. Last year was a family with 5 children. I've been shopping all year to prepare for this Christmas. So many good sales through the year. It's so much better to give than to receive. Thanks for sharing.

My kids are 19 and 20 and I think a Angel Tree would be amazing to do with my kids together. Just the excitement of finding special gifts for someone who needs it would just be a wonderful lesson for my kids. I would love to pick older teens because I think they are passed over.
Yes! I bet they’d love that! And so true! Here the oldest it goes to I think is 12 or 13..I think it should go for older teens too. We usually pick a teen or pre teen too just in case they are passed over like you said! ❤️

I love couponing and secret hidden clearance items for this time of year. 🎄Our Angel tree is through our Prison Ministry. So mom or dad can send gifts to their children while they are away. Our food pantry does more than food for those CVS deals and Toys for Tots. Bringing joy to others brings us joy. Have a Merry Christmas to you and your family. 🎅🤶
I love these presents! I did Angel Tree too (videos on channel). I bought clearance items all year and matched them to the tags. I like that you have a stockpile as well, in addition to buying things when you pick the tag. I'm in Connecticut. We don't get a plastic bag like that, but that's about how big my presents were. As for inappropriate items, my guess is people buy that stuff by accident. A lot of inappropriate items are disguised as child friendly things. Anyways, because of you some kids will have a great Christmas.

I played with Bratz till I was like 12 😂 I remember going to yard sales with my mom and always looking for them. My son’s school lets us donate coats, sweaters, & jackets so that’s what we are doing.

I cannot afford to donate brand new toys because I am a stay-at-home mom on a fixed income due to my son's disability but what we do is a friend of mine actually works in our local DHS office so she works with a lot of families that have way less than we do for unforeseen reasons etc I don't care but a lot of them have little little kids so we go through all of our clothing and donate the nice gently used ones and I go through all of my little guys toys and all the gently used ones I donate to her and let her distribute them because when you have little kids most of them don't even notice that they're getting used toys I go to the second hand store and buy a lot of my little guys toys for Christmas birthdays Easter etc but I'm also like you Clarence shopping fanatic yard sales etc so at least they'll be having something under the tree something is better than nothing in my opinion even if it is used I do what I can where I can't
