this!!! it’s a slow craft for a reason and it’s important to honor & be mindful of that! we often let hustle culture & productivity culture bleed into our cozy hobbies until they become a chore. I love the message of taking your time with projects & making finished objects we’ll LOVE. 💗

I relate a lot to falling into comparing myself to other knitters and feeling like I don’t have the same amount of FOs. It’s always nice to hear you talk about that! I’m a slow knitter as well, so I love finishing anything and I love everything you were able to make this year!

I loved seeing all of your knits Emma! The comparison game is so easy to fall into. However when I look at your knits I see so much technical work as well as a keen eye for design and color,! Keep doing what you are doing, excited to see what 2024 brings :)
I think it's really refreshing and cozy to watch a knits of the year video from a fellow slower knitter! Yours is actually the only one I've watched for 2023 so far, because I always end up feeling a little bummed out with myself when I see just how much more other people manage to knit, because I also have soo many things I would love to knit but I don't always have time or energy, and I also knit fairly slow, so thanks for your cool video! :)
Also, I think I would love to knit a lilac/purple heartless top for going to see Olivia on the GUTS tour at the end of May this year!!

Oh I love all of them!! I really want to learn how to knit someday and the top with the heart cutout is definitely one I will keep in the back of my mind for if I ever do start knitting💗 these are seriously so amazing and I am still so impressed with the ivy top!!
