Cheers Don. Yeah my setup was designed for this sort of travel. Light weight and capable of running all the gadgets as long as I'm moving most days. For extended trips with the family we would be in the caravan with a much larger battery bank/solar array.

I grind the beans as course as my grinder will go, and steep in 4parts water to 1 parts grinds for 16hrs in the fridge. That makes a really nice concentrate that i dilute with 4 parts milk to drink.

Its a fridge organised made by @pmcanvasproducts (they take enquiries and orders over isntagram). Its got velcro stitched into the back of it, that sticks to a piece or marine carpet that is glued to the fridge.

How did Percy go with Double Gee's in his paws ?
A lot better than expected. He picked up one in between his pads this trip that I was able to pull out straight away. We tried to make camp where there weren't too many - some spots were terrible for them!

what maps do you use? I find the normal ones available at camping stores etc dont have enough detail of tracks
This big laminated map was one we borrowed from the station managers.
I normally use a combination of Wiki camps, google satelite maps and either the Hema Explorer app or the dedicated Hema GPS unit (I've got the HX2 - which im not sure I'd recommend yet...)

Hey Cam, how do you find travelling with an upright fridge, are you packing it differently to ya standard 12v fridge?
G'day Clint. Loving it mate. I'll always keep my engel chest fridge for its portability and as a freezer for the odd trip. But the upright is much lighter and more convenient to use.
The upright definitely has to be packed differently. I use baskets to put small things in, and spring bars to lock cans of beer into place. When the fridge is half empty, I'll move everything onto one shelf to keep it all together to stop things bouncing around. The same sort of things you do with a caravan fridge!

haha they're actually a pair of Gazzas I had to borrow because I had a blow out the first day and didn't pack a spare set (rookie mistake!). i think Gazza said he bought them in Thailand years ago!
