Not gonna lie I felt sad after seeing L's death but what struck me the most was the death of Light, the way he ran towards the end helplessly, his life flashing before his eyes... knowing it was the end for him and Ryuk (who as we saw throughout the series, developing a sort of relationship/friendly bond with Light) comin' in and delivering the final blow was just heartbreaking dude.....
I honestly saw it as poignant and karmic all the pain he caused finally coming back to strike a final blow and it being delivered by the one who had been his companion throughout all of it.
I really felt sad too I still don't see all of it but I don't see l die yet but I saw spoiler of the death of light and man I cried I really cry we see what such power can do to you mind 😔rip light I will soon finish the anime but I'm just not ready to accept it
honestly you could say death of L was truly the death of Light. without him to control light... he got careless and made bad choices L wasn't a threat to light. He was keeping him sharp, he was the true hero. in more ways than one, our hero, and the hero of light. So in a small way... when L died, he took Light's future with him. that's the true beauty of the series.
Light's arc was a perfect Faustian tragedy, he sold his soul for power and it corrupted him and he didn't realize the price he'd paid until the very end, that's what it means when he sees his younger self walking by reading a book. It's not just his life flashing before his eyes, Light is seeing his innocence, the person he was before Ryuk and the Deathnote, walkling past him like he doesn't exist. Light is seeing what he gave up to get the reward he's now reaping and I'd love to have asked him, in those final moments, was it worth it?

Just whispering "NO NO NO" while quietly bawling out tears because it was late at night so i wouldnt want to wake anybody up. Just remembering all the good memories of little me watching death note being happy not knowing what could happen next😥😢And then he finally laid on the stairs, i almost couldnt see the screen because of my wet eyes just wishing he would have survived, and also that L could have survived. I feel so sorry for Light, who had been seen as a criminal, though all he wanted was justice. Even his name states, how good he really was. The world would become a better place if people were too scared to make crimes because of the Big Unseen Eye, which can simply kill them. I'm sure, watchers were asking themselves, how would they use the Death Note. I believe, most would just kill their "enemies". Well, I'd personally end up the suffering of the terminally ill people, but Light's idea was brilliant, too. He should have become Death God himself after passing away.
I love all the smoke and vapor coming off the keys. I mean I didn't like the smoke and vapor, but seeing it here on the piano sure is lovely. Great music my friend. You play very cleanly, and each note you hit effervescently rings with my enigmatiK ear drums.
light fell on stairs, waiting for death under the sun. in the light he was, he almost reached the top of the stairs but couldnt make it, but he wasnt at the bottom of them either. he was truly in the center of eternal life and eternal death, as if the place he was going to was nothingness.
You did it amazingly 💜 you have art on your heart, and also after hearing this remember folks if you believe on parallel universes, there is one out there on which after Catching Higuchi L didn't let Light touch the notebook and made Ryuk return with it to the Shinigami world, Kira stopped killing and L and Light had a beautiful friendship (or more maybe) until the end.
Lovely cover! I watched this anime recently and enjoyed it. I wonder what would have happened if L had re-watched his interrogation tapes of Misa Misa after touching the death note. My guess is that he would have been able to see Rem, confirming that Misa was the second Kira.

I thought I had a decent reach with 10 white note split but he takes it further. I can't do it either I had to augment the chord to do the A#/Bb octave instead which set me up nicely for the next chord. But even that one moving down to the A was odd for my pinky.
