Amazing! By the way, have you considered doing a piano cover of any of Attack on Titan's songs now that the anime has ended? I really enjoyed your covers of Guren no Yumiya and Vogel im Kafig.
I feel so bad for Nepo and Fabi. That clip of them, “I’m very very sorry” - “my fault” was so heartbreaking. I hope one day both of them are world champions
Chess is brutal. On one hand I'm beyond delighted for Gukesh. But there's a feeling hollowness and tragedy for the titans that are Nepomniachtchi and Caruana. Especially Ian who was undefeated throughout the event. This wonderful piece speaks to just that. It is magnificent. Whatever happens with Ian and Fabiano in their careers, they will both go down as legends of the game and should be very proud of themselves.
this is a song of desire that falls apart, a tragedy that one joyously remembers and feels nostalgic about. i see why nepo would tweet this piece. beautiful.
7 minutes of an absolutely mindblowing composition that changes just enough to avoid the repetition and the monotony, but keeps the same identity through all the song to keep you in it, making you to dive deep in its melody. Love it from the first to the last note. Congratulations!

Patrick, you create wonderful works no matter how much time you spend, the main thing is that you do it with your soul in our time, this value is not present in many compositions.

Ian Nepomniachtchi is a gamer, ex Dota semi pro and Hearthstone fan, Chess Grandmaster legend and now he just transmitted me his feelings through music after some tragic tournament events without using a single word. NEPO IS AN ANIME CHARACTER.

So tragic, so piiful and so beautiful. Idk why, but it reminds me star sky, but also contains some notes from your beautiful works. Beautiful! Keep doing great!
What Patrik said in the description is truly what sets him apart from other piano youtubers, he doesn't do it for money and success and to satisfy the yotube algorithm.
💯 agreed. The dedication to do his own work instead of playing classical like everyone else, it would probably be an easy money for him especially with his amazing dexterity. He’s that special. I’m a proud air conditioner 🥺
Such a beautiful composition I love it especially the Interstellar vibe :) and it doesn't matter how long you take for releasing new videos, just never stop creating please ! ;)
I really enjoyed reading the description. Same as you, I am a programmer and in my free time I play piano. I enjoy doing both things, because they help me better develop myself in various ways. But I fully agree with you: "Above all, it's the immaterial experiences that make me really happy."- I think that nowadays many people tend to forget that. Thank you for creating such a beautiful piano music and for sharing your healthy and reasonable way of thinking about life
Wow!! There's just something about that A minor to E minor over G, that just makes the whole thing! That is my favorite chord progression and you nailed it!
This is just, beautiful. I don't know how to say it otherwise. The symphony, the feelings that accompany its melody are amazing. If one day I have the skills to learn it, I will play it everywhere I go, on every piano I see and I will always think about how an amazing pianist you are. Thank you very much and have a lovely evening!
Patrik, you've written a masterful piece. I've just finished listening to the orchestral version. It's magnificent! 🤩 I hope you continue to play and compose for a long time to come. Your talent makes us dream. Best regards from France.
How did I miss the upload??? Let me express my sincere apologies!!! How did I end up not being able to wait for a new composition from you Patrick? I can see all that progress and I can't help but stare in awe... Keep it up buddy! Each of us has a different tempo to follow, you're doing amazing as you are, there is no need to rush greatness. I would much rather see this amazing progress than to receive something new to listen to more often. Keep following your own rhythm and tempo and don't let anyone change that! It is this specific musician that inspires me, please let me continue taking pleasure in your progress. You are amazing!
Very impressive Patrik! I’m super impressed by your ability to put emphasis on your notes to make the melody flourish while the rest of the notes seem to add so much to the piece. I’ve tried to learn a lot of your songs and this is what I struggle with the most!
Wow Patrik you can play a seven-minute-long piece with sophisticated melody and jumps flawlessly. I admire you a lot. Your composing is incredible in this one. May I know what passages that you find the most likely to make mistakes when practicing are?
Woooow. Good job Patrick! I love this and all of your songs that you have played. And thank you so much for inspiring me to play these songs that you have played. Thank you Patrick.
Just incredible! 7 minutes of non-stop 16th notes. Do your hands not get tired after a while? I'm definitely looking forward to playing and mastering this composition in the future. You never fail to impress and that is why so many people (myself included) look up to your musical and technical skills. I've now been playing your arrangements and compositions for over 4 years and, as a pianist myself, I can say with confidence that, although a two month period of not uploading seems a long time from a UA-cam perspective, it definitely is NOT a long time for composing a 7 minute piece with this level of ambition and complexity. When it comes to visuals, I am also struggling to improve the quality of my videos (especially the bottom half lighting) so, if you don't mind me asking, I noticed that although entire piano keys in your videos are well lit, your hands remain quite dark and are only illuminated by the LEDs when a note is played. Do you mind sharing a tip on how to achieve the best lighting for hands and piano in the bottom half section of the video? Do you use natural lighting or artificial? Thank you and congratulations for your composition! Maybe one day we could make a collaboration video...wouldn't that be nice...😄
You have been a part of my life in over a year and I listen to your music almost every day. Thank you for your wonderful music! Last summer I played your ’violett melody’ on repeat every evening. But now I think I have a new favourite. I want to watch a movie with your music in it. One day!
This reminds me of interstellar because of the tone of the music and the musical-complexity. Your music brings the beauty into the world from your piano and orchestral songs. You're one of the best musicians I've ever seen. Thank you for these masterpieces!
I read the description about you wanting to post more frequently, and take on less large projects, but to create a masterpiece like this is without a doubt worth waiting for. As a composer, this is something we dream of creating.
I’ve been in the top 1% of yearly listeners of this channel for probably 5 years. It’s incredible how much growth I’ve witnessed from you, Patrik, never stop exploring new things! Your imagination is the only limit
Finally, well done to your magical hands. I can listen to you non-stop. The best piano interpreter of the best compositions. Please don't deprive us of this until you leave this world.
After listening both your and orchestral and piano versions of this composition I can really feel that you just let your imagination and passion for music guide you into composing this masterpiece. Great work.
This is the feeling people back then must've had when Beethoven or Mozart dropped a new piece. Honestly, the quality is astonishing, love it! Your ancestors live through you!
A very harmonious piece. Thank you very much. May your hands never stand still and your mind remain free for such beautiful music. I love it. Thank you very much
Patrik in my country I was just going to sleep and then you dropped this song and made by day better, making me look up to the next day. You really are the best pianist on UA-cam and you deserve more recognition. ❤️
I wont lie--I miss the movie theme covers, but im glad you're branching off to do more of what you want to do rather than appealing to just a larger audience. Fantastically written!
This is by far your greatest piece I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. The intensity, the emotion, and the technique are just all perfect. Bravo!!!
Nepo is having heartbreaks every time 😢, 6th game against Magnus, last game against Ding, this game against Fabi, Happy for Gukesh but devastated for Fabi and Ian.
Patrik, thank you so much for your work! This is truly amazing. The change in 0:13 was great, and the section starting at 0:37 sounded really beautiful and definitely memorable! I also like the different styles within your style, and how you can play a melody in so many different ways, all of which are very much appreciated. 1:49 to 2:04 was very pleasant to listen to. 3:16 onwards was very good, and you had some nice major parts throughout it, but at 0:36, you repeated that memorable bit I liked earlier! 3:55 to 4:03 was another of those cool bits that was nice. However, 4:36 to 5:12 was my favourite bit, those arpeggios! Then the pace was created, and the movement was done just right! Okay, I was wrong, 6:05 is my new favourite bit, so well done! Then the bit up the top, the D minor stuff, with the octave D in your left hand just after, wow, that was good. That bit from 6:05 to the end shows you are indeed an excellent composer, who has mastered so much in music! I don't mind how long it takes you to compose music if this is the result! The orchestral arrangement was really good too, it worked very nicely! Your pieces are getting better and better! I liked your quote too, "Less materialism, more idealism. Spend more time on immaterial things, such as friendship, love, self-realization, lifelong learning and of course: music." Adding music there was so significant, it really is a good thing in our lives! Also, your Oppenheimer cover was great! I look forward to more of your work! I've been learning some of your earlier pieces, and though they are very difficult, it is so gratifying to have learnt it, be able to play it and say, "This is a piece by one of my favourite piano composers and arrangers, Mr. Patrik Pietschmann. I will now play..." Thank you.
Everyone really has to take lessons on how to layer different voices from you. You really bring out the beauty in every voice that you layer, here as well as in the orchestra. Analysing the way you layer the voices has helped me in my own compositions as well. Thanks for this and keep this up!
Same here, I'm a composer/producer/piano player and I get geeked out whenever he drops new material, I've learned so much from analyzing and transcribing his work.
You inspire me so much -- I probably wouldn't have stuck with piano if I hadn't found your channel and seen what the amazing possibilities are with this incredible instrument. And I love this composition so much!
Moin, Pat! I cannot even express how much I agree with all that you wrote. This world has way more to offer than money and all the possibilities of consumption. Meanwhile this is what we are bombarded with. But the most beautiful moments in life cannot be bought, and the best "things" we could ever have are exactly immaterial. Thank you once again for creating the art that allows me to stop for a moment in this crazy world. If I can be honest about frequency of your videos. I know that everybody would like to see them as much as possible and asap. But honestly, I think it's good as it is now. Don't put on yourself a pressure to provide faster. You, your well being, your private life and time are more important. If it's not your inner wish to be faster, but rather a pressure felt from your audience, I'd say that you should prioritize yourself. Personally I prefer to wait longer and know that you created something meaningful for you and without sacrificing all the other things that are important for you. You're not an industrial machine which only purpose is to pop out things to the satisfaction of others. Have a good weekend and as always, mach's gut!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Magda! You wouldn't believe how much your comments mean to me. I keep looking out for them. I hope you are doing well.

If one day I have the skills to learn it, I will play it everywhere I go, on every piano I see and I will always think about how an amazing pianist you are. Thank you very much and have a lovely evening!
Always love your own compositions❤
Thank you so much!
Ein wahres Meisterwerk!💙
Glückwunsch! Tolles Lied. 👍👍
Patrik, you've written a masterful piece. I've just finished listening to the orchestral version. It's magnificent! 🤩
I hope you continue to play and compose for a long time to come.
Phenomenal... The theme was well conveyed... I feel blessed...
Very impressive Patrik! I’m super impressed by your ability to put emphasis on your notes to make the melody flourish while the rest of the notes seem to add so much to the piece. I’ve tried to learn a lot of your songs and this is what I struggle with the most!
İconic dialog
"I'm, ı'm very sorry"
'🫠my fault '
😢😢💔
I don’t think I ever wanted to play piano this bad. I’m gonna learn this piece, no matter what!!! My god this is amazing!🔥🔥🔥
EVER TRIED. EVER FAILED. NO MATTER. TRY AGAIN. FAIL AGAIN. FAIL BETTER.
We need Movies with your composed melodys!
I read the description about you wanting to post more frequently, and take on less large projects, but to create a masterpiece like this is without a doubt worth waiting for. As a composer, this is something we dream of creating.
Work of art
Crying while listening to this it’s so beautiful ❤
I’ve been in the top 1% of yearly listeners of this channel for probably 5 years. It’s incredible how much growth I’ve witnessed from you, Patrik, never stop exploring new things! Your imagination is the only limit
Both this and your orchestral version are amazing! I think it's your best original work so far, keep it up!
Great work.
Chess is so brutal . Hope Nepo come back stronger and get what he deserves❤️
The Internet's greatest pianist does it again 🤙🏽
This is what i'm talking about Master Pietschmann!!!
This is the feeling people back then must've had when Beethoven or Mozart dropped a new piece. Honestly, the quality is astonishing, love it! Your ancestors live through you!
A very harmonious piece. Thank you very much. May your hands never stand still and your mind remain free for such beautiful music. I love it. Thank you very much
Many times when I feel bad, I came here… and get better. Thank you.
Key changes can throw off songs so easily but the one at 6:05 is a masterpiece... Incredible
Patrik in my country I was just going to sleep and then you dropped this song and made by day better, making me look up to the next day. You really are the best pianist on UA-cam and you deserve more recognition. ❤️
I got the timing right and played the piano version side by side with the orchestral version and its amazing.
I've bee playing and listening to your songs for years, and I have to say, this is bloody brilliant. You've really hit the next level 🙏
This is hands down one of the greatest pieces I have ever listened to! Truly beautiful!
Bravo!!!
And of course he never disappoints. Beautiful as always Patrik; your uploads always make my day :)
Can't stop listening 😳😳😳
I will now play..."
Thank you.
Thank you Patrick. Especially for the words you wrote. I wish you harmony.
_"I'm Very Sorry"_
_"My Fault"_
For the greatest player of the world! Nepo💪
Hallo Patrik, wieder mal ganz große Klasse 👍!
Gibts du eigentlich auch Konzerte ? Danke für eine Rückmeldung- vG
This is absolutely amazing. Brought me to tears.
Respect for
Ian
Fabi
Naka
Well played ❤
Thank you so much for your beautiful and hard work! This composition is stunning. Love from Russia ♥
