Hi great catches there. I like to know more about where you fish like water death and what sort of gear you are using as I’m new to freshwater fishing. And new to the area
Hey mate, welcome to the area. I’m using braid, particularly 10lb braid and leader on my spinning reels. For my bait caster i’m running 20lb braid and 20lb leader. This time of year best bite times are early in the morning and in the afternoons. I target the edges and points of the dam in the morning then in the middle of the day i’ll look for fish out deeper in 15-25ft of water. Then in the arvo i’ll hit the edges again. If you aren’t into casting and are more of a trolling guy, troll along the buoy line area. Get lures that you know five 10-20+ feet, you’ll be in the strike zone that way and you’ll catch some fish i guarantee it 🙌🏼
@ thank you for your help. Which of the two dams do you recommend to try first. I do release that they both are flowing over at the moment due to all the rain we have had. Thank you so much again for your time and help.
@@DarrylWoodworkingYeah man they are both spilling over, ummm personally i would try BP dam first, I haven’t been to boondooma for a while but i will be out there soon enough. Both dams will take a while to settle unfortunately but fishing should still be alright
