I like what this barber did in the beginning. He gave his honest opinion about your beard in the beginning, as he didn't think it'd be good to shave it. That can rub people the wrong way, but I personally appreciate it.

The gold standard of Barber work, always seem to come from the Arab world. They play a different level of beard game, the hidden level above "Brutal".
You're pointing at Indian barbers I guess? They have a different style but in general they are excellent as well
@@shavesandmassages I was commenting on the clientele the Barber works with on a regular basis. The video said Cairo, which last time I checked was located in the Arab world. You ever see a Turk-roach try to grow a beard? They make it look easy, and I resent them for it, the xenophobic man-let that I am.

Yes it was a good service but do you know that I get haircut,shave,hair washing , head massage, hot and cold towel and face mask or scrub for only 70EGP and if without shaving is 50
But maybe because Zamalek is classy or elegant location so the prices are high and of course because he is tourist

My mom knows Threading and i always say her to do on my face.. It pains a lots but when hair grows back its soft and now after threading for 6 months my chicks hair are less than before😊

I'm glad your channel is growing. You could also make massage videos, including the whole body. Many ASMR fans like it too. But in that case you would need someone to hold your camera.
You're right, I watch them too. But like you said the challenge for me is to film it well. I have a couple of ideas I need to try

I use both that shaving foam n razor for my head, super smooth.

umm ..Theres a straight edge razor on the cabinet counter but uses prison razor, then puts on the shaving cream with a comb brush when theres a mixing brush on top shelf.
Then to top it all off, he threads one eyebrow, then threads his nose and gets nose grease and blackheads all over the 2nd eyebrow...LOL

The tool used doesn't matter as long as the job is well done. And it was.
For the threading, I guess you may be right, I had not thought of this, but he washed my face so 🤷🏻♂️

What I don't get is he pulls out a disposable straight razor, uses it once, pulls out a safety razor, then pulls out a second disposable straight razor, then back to safety razor.
I suppose it must be something with the laws involved in that country but it fells odd

@@realkingburgerking3384 shaving from 20 up to 100 and 100 is a premium is of course for premium barbershops but of course you can get a haircut and shave for like from 40 up to like 200 if it’s a premium barbershop
Honestly I was super pleased with the price Vs quality of service. Well worth it IMO

This barbershop was so iconic for Cairo Egypt. Such an Arabic hometown feel. The only thing that bothered me was when he started to lather your face to perform the shave he used shaving cream out of a can and a BIC shaver. Almost all the ASMR videos of shaves in the Middle East have the barber using the old style soap and bristle brush with a straight razor. That ruined the whole video for me.
I understand a lot of people seem to think that. It makes it feel less special I guess. But the result was ace so not an issue for me 🤷🏻♂️
The result of this barber is better than most barbers that use the traditional methods of shaving
ya but most of the barbers who use the traditional soap and straight razor end up cutting the shit out of his neck. I'd rather have a bic razor and cream out of a can and zero cuts on my neck instead of 30 bleeding nicks on my neck because the barber doesn't know how to use a straight razor.

He is removing fine hair. It works really well. But it's very painfully actually! 😂

It's one of the best I've been to. Definitely a barber. However I can understand you prefer to watch a Cut-Throat shave.

Very strange to see a barber who uses a double blade razor like the ones you use at home and only after the shavette, using the foam from a can and not whipped with a brush and above all not using a shaving brush worthy of the name. Perhaps the result will have been good but a professional is also judged by the tools he uses, and in this case I see confusion.
I don't care about the tools. I care only about the result. But I do know some people think higher of a shave done with older tools. However like you, the disposable first, cut-throat second kinda surprised me!
