In this weeks episode, we continue building on the loop we started in the last Back 2 Basics video on Closed HH Patterns, and build out 5 different snare groove / fill patterns to help make your loops more interesting, powerful and driving :)

    60 fps crisp quality! Nice video mate, percussion is really important to get a feel for the track.

    Another cool trick i started to experiment with is to have a tap delay (like D16 Tekturon) on certain drum samples to give it a slight psychedelic feel to it.
    Using different delay settings will give a cool percussion groove.

      Hey, awesome technique for sure! I mentioned doing this at the end of the video as another way to make it more interesting. Some random one shots with a number of different FX, often work well

    That's awesome! I've always had much simpler grooves but after the previous two videos I am excited to experiment :D :D

    Great Video :) can you maybe make a video about toms, how you would mix them in? cause i find i kinda hard to find a balance that the toms dont get to thin but also do not conflict with the low end, thanks :)
