Hi Vasili, we just moved to a farm in Gippsland and are learning everything we need need know via your videos - how do I know when my pears are ready for picking?
Gently hold one and give it a slight twist, if it's ready it will easily detach from the branch with the half twist. If not then leave it for little while longer.
I am an amateur at this!! I have a dwarf lemon tree and a necturine tree!! I know how to look out for a gall bladder wasp!! But buggered if I know how to treat leaf curl!! That's all I know how to look out for for pests!! LOL!!
You really need to keep spraying the fruit with the Kaolin clay, covering them in white powder as it dries out the pest's tongues when they munching thru the skin.
What brand netting and frame did you use?
Hi Vasili...would it better to take the nets off in the winter time?

Hey Vasilli. Is that smaller hole netting stopping bees going on the flowers and not pollinating them or doesn't it matter?
You place the netting after the bees have pollinated and fruit has set.
@@vasilisgardenofficial awesome Vasilli. Now that makes sense. Cheers from Mill Park mate. 👍🏻
The netting looks good.
What do you spray the apple trees with Vasili? The same as peach trees?
Yes the same, with our disease control pack
