this video (vlogumentary?) took a LONG time to put together - if you enjoyed it, please like and comment as it really helps a small channel like ours grow! ❤❤
very informative. August is suppose to be the driest season on the other side of Quito but I guess Amazon is wet wet wet … looking forward to it though.
When Jordan got the drone out at the village and the kids flocked around, I realized that there was a true universal spirit of kids excitement regardless of the level of their civilization or social background. It gives me hope about the human character throughout the world. Kids will be kids.
This video is incredible. I had a goofy smile on my face too the whole time. Thank you so much for taking us along with you. I think my favourite parts were you guys casually chatting about Lucy, the monkeys and the shaman experience. Wow.
This is amazing and beautifully shot! Your excitement really comes through as well as the beauty and wonder of the Amazon! Very envious but also thank you for sharing! 💜
Best yet from you two! The photography, artistic framing and exceptional drone footage combined with well put together post production work are all “pro level”! Along with you both providing upbeat and entertaining commentary, this latest effort ranks right up there as my favourite ever! Excited for what comes next…🐛🐵🐠
Wow, awesome video of your time in the Amazon Jungle. All of the monkeys, frogs birds were really amazing to see. It was great to see the fascination of the children to your drone. The exotic flowers and rich green foliage were amazing as well.
I’ve heard a Mexican said once, that they are so lucky to live in a place where they can eat their food every day of their lives. As an Ecuadorian, we are so lucky to live in a place where we get to experience a mega-biodiversity country every day of our lives. I grew up in a town just two hours from the jungle, and my parents loved to take us there over the weekends! What a treat! Great video by the way … It brought back many memories, like sleeping with the jungle noice in the background, is surreal :)
Amazing video! I watch many travel vlogs and this was just outstanding! I saw the 51 minute run time and thought that seemed very ambitious but the content and quality are fantastic! Happily subscribed and looking forward to watching all of your videos. Well done!
Wow, thank you so much! we really appreciate your comment and are so glad that monster 51 minutes turned out okay! might be gearing ourselves towards some longer ones again in the future 😊Thanks again!
For such an awesome video of travels in Amazon this should be getting much higher view count. You deserve more subscribers, that's for sure. Quality content!
Wow, wow, wow. I have been looking forward to this video ever since you told us you were doing this adventure. Truly amazing, my only complaint is it wasn’t long enough, I could’ve watched more. I’m so proud of you both for not only doing these amazing adventures and putting together these wonderful videos that you share with us all but for being grateful and realising how very lucky you are to be experiencing these amazing sights and countries. There’s just so much that was so good, the animals, the big amazing tree at the observation tree, the kids, the canoeing, the forest, the food & of course the staff at the lodge, I could go on. I definitely will be watching this again, you both did yourselves proud. Miss you both, love you, mum.xx By the way, happy birthday Emily, hope you enjoyed celebrating doing something special. 🎂🎉❤️❤️❤️❤️
It was such a once in a life time experience! So glad we have this to look back on though and one day show Tilly what cool things her Aunty and Uncle did! Love you miss you
Keep grinding guys, I know you’re probably not making money yet, but the way these videos are put together, and your loveable personas, you’re following will grow 😊
Thank you for producing this and your other fantastic Ecuador videos. You have helped us decide which South American country to visit next year and we will be having the 5 Days / 4 Deep Experience at the Sani Lodge! 🙂
Not even a min in and I've hit pause. Just want to soak up the anticipation you both do so well to build! I know I'm going to enjoy this so I'll be back with a vat of tea and snacks brb
You are most welcome Jordan and Emily! I'm back a week later re-watching it, so yes very much enjoyed it :) Thank you again for putting so much time and effort into these amazing videos. I look forward to seeing how your channel grows over time
Great documentary guys, thanks for sharing. I love your style of presentation, very natural and off the cuff. You´re both so very natural that you would be the kind of ppl fellow travellers like us would love to grab a beer with. I´m currently researching Amazon rain forest trips for part of our RTW trip, and just the fact that you included the logistics of getting there by bus rather than flying helped a lot. So many other vloggers don´t include this essential information, (because it´s deemed "boring" ) yet that is as interesting as the tour itself and very much part of any trip. Looking forward to seeing some of your other videos
Loved this Jordan & Emily. Your positivity is beaming! As fellow Australians it convinced my wife and I to head to Sani in a couple of weeks. Quick question for you - were all your closeups/wildlife shots taken with the sony 55-200mm?
Woah! That's so great, your gonna have the best time! And yes! We were using the 55-210mm sony lens on the A6400. Would have LOVED to have something with even more zoom, it would have been incredible!
@@JordanandEmily thank you that's super helpful. I have the a6300 and have been wondering whether a 55-210 might suffice -the bigger lenses are a pain to travel with!
All of this selling the place was effective as I contacted them to ask for prices, and OMG! I'm in min 20, I won't finish the video so I don't know if you disclosed how much this was. Moving on to another youtuber with more affordable adventures.
We’re traveling around South America next year and are trying to choose between the Amazon in Ecuador or Peru. Why did you wind up choosing the Amazon in Ecuador? Thanks for all the helpful content- love your videos!
Oh nice! You're gonna love it! We chose ecuador because it was easier and cheaper to access than the ones we saw in Peru! Also didn't require any extra flights!
Amazing vlog guys! I’m going to Peru and the amazon in a couple of months! Can I ask what focal length your Tele lens is? Or whatever lens you used to capture a lot of the wildlife shots? I’m not sure what I should bring, thanks!
100% suitable! There are a few walks through the jungle but nothing really exceeds an hour and even when it does there's frequent stops to talk about whatever the guide finds along the walk!
Hi @JordonandEmily - We loved your video. Which month and year you travelled to Equador Amazon? We want to know if June 2024 is a good month for travelling to Amazon Equador, Any suggestions for us for lodge and activities?
Thanks for this video. You do such a wonderful job of catching the little details (like your feet walking ..steps...etc ) that make you feel as if you are with you .
They have lived with mum & dad for a few years now so they could work & save for this dream of theirs. We love having them live with us, there’s never a dull moment when they’re around. I miss them both terribly & I’m counting the days till they come home. They’re both welcome to stay with us for however long they want to cause that’s what mums & dads do for their kids
@@JordanandEmily thanks for quick reply binging your vids tonight ….which vaccine did you get ….never usually bother but I am 50 my sons leaving home and free to explore alone x
@JordanandEmily I spent a week up river about 5 hours from Iquitos. Was just with a small family. No air condition or attached bathroom/ toilet. Room had nothing except small mattress on wood. That experience was rough but I enjoyed it. Best thing was no internet.

Perfectly understandable 😀 we average $100 per day expense but it's definitely an average haha. The $20 days we had to do to afford this were bleak!
Love from Bharat.(India)❤
😊 thanks so much ❤️
What months did you go to Sani Lodge? This was posted in September. Thank you.
We were there in August!
wonderful Jordan and Emily. Planning a trip Feb 25. Would like your recommendations on Ecuador amazon.
you're gonna love it! so many options to see the amazon!
Thanks!
😲 thank you so much!!

Loved the video, considering going to Ecuador next year. What time of year did you go?
Thanks! we got to Ecuador in July! We've got plenty of other Ecuador videos if you want to watch more too (Sorry to self promote haha)
Excellent video u shown in detail thank you ❤ what type of camera did u use , I am not UA-camr , can we use GoPro for this same clarity ❤in my videos
Hi there! this was done in the Sony A6400, we've now upgraded to the A7S3

Sure thing! It's a 70-110mm APS-C
@@JordanandEmily amazing!! Thanks so much guys! I’m on an aps-c (Fuji) too. What f-stop does that lens go to if you don’t mind me asking?
how physically fit do you have to be to enjoy this trip? Suitable for the over 65 crowd?
100% suitable! There are a few walks through the jungle but nothing really exceeds an hour and even when it does there's frequent stops to talk about whatever the guide finds along the walk!
How was the bugs and mosquitoes situation?
Actually totally fine! Didn't experience them at all somehow, We brought bug spray but never used it!
Hi @JordonandEmily - We loved your video. Which month and year you travelled to Equador Amazon? We want to know if June 2024 is a good month for travelling to Amazon Equador, Any suggestions for us for lodge and activities?
Very hard to say, it should be okay! Whichever lodge you choose they have tons to do there!
Yes june Is Sumner un Ecuador gold time
👋
What camera do you use for this video?
We used the A6400 hundred for this whole thing! 😀
Jaguar el felino más poderoso de América
Wish we saw one! 😔

thank you so much! :)
What is a "big life event"?
We ended up selling a house back in Australia to help fund our travels for the next couple of years!

I went too but I didn't risk doing it naked. jjajaja
🤣🤣🤣
Did you get vaccinated….thinking to go, great vid x
We did! We actually waited until we were in Ecuador and got a vaccination for free! 😄

Best idea!
Nada parecido a Sammy!😮😮
😄?
nice without music
You'll have to go there then! 😄
You need binoculars
for sure! We got lucky with who we were on tour with an they let us look through which was awesome 😍
we also kept saying how good it would have been to have a better zoom lens but they are CRAZY expensive (maybe one day!)
@@JordanandEmily yes, but you don't want to pack around heavy camera equipment on the daily, that gets tedious.
You are staying in a lodge. You have to rough it up. This looks easy not survival.
If we didn't die, we survived! 🤣 But I do agree, I think something a bit more rough and tumble is what we need to do soon!
