Advice from a postgraduate Masters student, try not to stress too much in 1st year! It is important to pass the work and everyone wants to do their best but 1st year is all about finding your feet and enjoying uni, don’t put too much pressure on yourself to do a million things in 1st year when realistically, you can afford not to. It’s not the end of the world if you don’t do every bit of reading and every extracurricular activity in 1st year. Uni is the best thing and it’ll be over in a flash so make the most of it 🤩
Future tip: tomatoes will be usually okay to eat even if they've gone softer. You can taste and if they aren't as fresh as you like, you can still cook with them, make a simple tomato sauce and freeze it in batches in ice cube trays to use for pasta dishes or any dish you want. x

I’m in my last year of uni and my sincere advice is to make great use of the resources that your school offers, be it library, gym, student discounts, or activities, etc. Most of them are free of charge and some can be very helpful!

Just to let everyone know, I wouldn’t buy any textbooks. Most universities have them in their library or as an ebook. We didn’t get told until a few days into uni but we can access everything through our uni website x
Mark Magorrian I agree, I do prefer it but for some people they might not be in a financial situation to buy their books so an ebook is their only option x
I think unvisty text books are the most expensive text books

Uni is always overwhelming at the beginning, give it a few months and you'll be in a good flow :)

Honestly everyone I know who took a discovery module from another school regretted it because it caused them way too much stress! It’s probably 100% for the best that you changed it, should be much more chill for you and just means you get more business knowledge instead x

My uni's gym (sports park) is SOO expensive
Hahaha you did get your books for super cheap. At my uni it would usually cost you that much for just ONE textbook sometimes even more. I once paid $230 for one of my textbooks which would be about 115 pounds textbooks are not cheap at uni !
