Thank you, Cali and the friends of big Bear Valley and all the volunteers who bring us these wonderful videos of our precious Jackie and Shadow! I know it’s not likely, but I’m still holding out. Hope that they will have a second clutch of eggs this year. But even if they don’t, I’ll look forward to seeing them when I can, and of course, hopefully next year during the egg watching season! She is such a captivating creature. The degree to which she can turn her head still amazes me. Then to see her perched so perfectly on those little limbs, her ability to balance, that is just wow. Thanks for a great video, Cali, you are awesome, too.
There are many words to describe her...beautiful, majestic, awesome, fierce, peaceful, powerful, diligent, proud and amazing. Many more, I'm sure. Jackie amplifies the meaning of each of those words. I check back daily for any new footage of J&S. It always makes my heart full of joy, when we get to see them again. This video, in particular, was the most calming to watch. I really loved the wide cam inset. That was splendid!Thank you Cali! ❤🦅❤️🦅

Jackie and Shadow are a beautiful couple! They are totally committed to each other . I love to watch them , as they show their love for each other! I feel bad for their loss this year, but it won’t stop them… they will try again! I wish their season was in warmer weather conditions though!❤️❤️❤️

Someone mentioned that it looks like they have on trousers and now I can’t unsee it 🫣😂
We lovingly refer to them as “pantaloons”! Lol
