I’m so glad to find someone on here who braids like me. Everyone who does stitch braids uses their pinky. It just doesn’t work for me. I have small hands and using the index finger works great. I also use the over hand method when adding hair🖤

This was very good. I finally learned how to do the finger set on starting a cornrow with extensions. After years it finally makes sense. I also know how to stitch braid now, so this is cool to me. Thank you, love.

Awesome. I’m still having trouble with the box braid adding hair with the pieces. Normally I just use the one piece , attach to hair then split in 3 . But I like your way . Already having the three pieces then add to natural hair. I’m still trying

I like your stitch method. Make a part at the beginning to start the stitch braid. Also make a part in the middle so the braid could fall in the middle. Start off by braiding three times. Start stitching from right side and use index finger. Very simple details.

Thank you so much! This has cleared many of my questions from before. I still struggle with loose hairs flying on top of my cornrows even when I used gel, added small amounts of hair, and strengthened my grip. Do you know what could be the issue?
