I'm so disappointed. Theres only the 8 inch version available here in America. The 3 inch and 6 inch is only available in airsoft, which I'm not a particular fan of. Theres so many great Umarex replicas that are only available in Europe. Why?! I consider myself a great customer to Umarex and I would love the opportunity to buy all of their available replicas, but for whatever reason they only release certain models here in the States. I sure hope that changes.
Hi this is t2bkk. I do love airgun and now am thinking to buy Umarex S&W M29 6mm BB version. Yet I am still wondering it should be 6.5inc or 8inc. If tyle balance, 6.5inc looks better but power and accuracy 8inc is better or not much difference. If anyone have advice, please let me know. From t2bkk channel in Bangkok Thailand
@@cyrusshellard3905 I think John's right on this one, I suspect that they mainly used the 8" barreled gun for promo/perspective shots since it's unmistakable in a few posters. It looks insane in advertising but when it comes to the actual movies it would look silly holding the longer barrel version, not exactly police issue in the first place. If I get around to buying one, i'm going for the 6.5. If the 8 inch was the only one featured in the movies, i'd get that but it seems too heavy for practical shooting. Surprised they didn't release the m29 sooner though.
@@cyrusshellard3905 The 8 inch was never used in non scene. Only 6,5 was used in all scenes. The 8 inch was used in the film posters. If you are still stubborn, name at least on scene where 8 was used and in which of Dirty Harry movies.

Awesome replica, picked mine up yesterday, can't believe the quality, these really are in a different league.
Just got the 6.5 ( sale price £170)… bb version also allows you to fire pellets now… non rifled barrel. It’s awesome.

Had a Smith and Wesson trr8 the timing went after a while I hope these new 29s don't end up the same way that's the only thing stopping me buying one

Too shiny for me, doesn't look real even though it's a beautifully made gun. I prefer the weathered look.
I have the 6 and half inch version in case hardened ( has a permanently oiled look which many real guns do and it's beautiful and realistic looking.
He keeps calling them pistols...
