This episode made me appreciate Garrison, Gabe and Savannah more than ever.
Yep, all great kids.
I think production did an excellent job at showing EXACTLY what happened to the kids relationships with their siblings.
Robyn's girls saying they didn't want to spend Christmas with them shows they weren't being told the truth. They weren't invited! It was too 'scary' for Robyn.
Savannah seems the most well adjusted. Watching Garrison cry at the end saying he wants a relationship with ALL his siblings was so sad.
I didn't think I could dislike Robyn more but this episode really did it. The emotional harm she is causing to those kids is atrocious. It isnt just manipulative It's abusive.
Kody is an angry person. I'm sure the Robyn kids don't want to set him off.

absolutely abusive. We can only imagine what she told her kids about their bio father and paternal grandparents. I remember Dayton saying they hadnt seen him for months (or maybe more than a year) shortly after Kody adopted them.
And how did she explain the adoption to them? We can only guess "your father doesn't want you," was probably how it went. She is a master of parental alienation, which is recognized as emotional child abuse..So these kids probably believe they were rejected by their biological paternal family, and now they believe they were rejected by the other moms and their kids.
We can only hope they watch the show, or their friends do, & they find out how they have been deceived.

My heart breaks for Savannah. Savannah gives Kody a hug when he walks into Janelle's new apartment. Kody says, "I don't feel welcome here." Savannah isn't on his radar screen even when she is standing right in front of him.
The amount of disregard he has for her love was shocking.
She got between him and the cameras.
Maybe this is why Savanah isn't on speaking terms with Brianna, Savanah may feel that Cody only has affection for Brianna. It's so sad, my heart hurts for all those kids.
Robyn has totally manipulated and outright lied to Aurora and Brianna. Period.

Yes Robyn is afraid because she knows the boys have caught on to her BS so she is isolating her children from them. Its all about control
This family is very incestuous. Robyn, mykelti and Tony are having 3somes. Kody is getting it on with Brianna and Robyn watches.
Hopefully, in time, their kids catch on to what's going on. It is televised, it's possible.
Janelle said it several seasons ago. Her kids could walking Christine’s house, open the fridge and get something to eat. They could never do that at Robyn’s.
Jen and her husband were helping Meri at the B&B. Meri witnesses everyday what a good marriage looks like. Meri underlines that Kody doesn't do that. Meri points out that Kody as husband is lacking.
That is gonna make me need a pint of ice cream and a celebratory dance around the living room. Full on cha cha cha.
It's nice also to see another side to Meri, when she is away from the toxicity that has been her entire adult life. She and Jen appear to have a really great friendship.
Jen is a true friend. You know she is probably getting hounded on the daily for info and she has never spoken a word publicly about meri or sisterwives at all.
I agree that seeing what a normal marriage looks like up close and personal has done nothing but help meri see how hers was lacking FROM THE BEGINNING not just now.

I loved that Gab has tried to continue a relationship with Aurora even if it has to stay at school

After listening to Breanna it now makes sense why Savanna was not included at Christmas at Robyn’s house when Mykelti, Ysabelle and Truley were there. Perhaps Breanna didn’t want her to be there.

We know for this filming Robyn said Janelle's sons were "too scary" to have over for Christmas while staring at Meri and saying "Who are you inviting???" THEN Robyn and Kody both acted pissed that C and J dared to celebrate Christmas!!
Meri was still trying to remain in their good graces...so she let them dictate who was invited. In past years it was this is where and when and they just let EVERYINE know. It has to be a invite only thing now. Robyn has destroyed that family and Kody is a p@#$$% whipped man for allowing it. What a loser
Gabe and Garrison seem like wonderful people. Kody is HORRIBLE for not appreciating them. Man if I had such kind and caring kids like them I would be so proud.
Saddest part for me was Gabes face when they were all sitting eating dinner. Literally could see the pain hes in all over his face.😢 kody should be ashamed of himself.

Kody and Robyn have destroyed the relationship between Breanna and Aurora and their siblings. It's so incredibly sad. They're convinced that the rest of their family doesn't care about them when clearly they all wish they could have a relationship with them. It's so sad.
At the end of the day they aren’t their blood, that would help me swallow it.
Robin as always is the gate keeper between the rest of the family and Kody and her kids. Kiss her a er ring or no access to dad and their siblings. She is evil! 😈

I hope Breanna and Aurora will realize as they mature they don’t need mommy’s permission to have a relationship with their siblings. Kody and Robyn are so cruel keeping the line drawn between Robyn’s kids and everyone else. Grow up people and get over yourself.
But also they acknowledged that the siblings have all been nice to them. It REALLY proves that it’s Robyn and Kody doing the separating and not the kids (who Kody and Robyn have constantly blamed)
Robyn is a monster for doing this to ALL of the kids. Seeing Breanna act so much like Robyn was beyond sad. She has learned that her mother's behavior is normal & there was no one else allowed near her to teach her otherwise. It is terrible that no one has stepped in to heal the situation between the Savannah & Breanna.

That was my first thought too, this is like watching a younger Robyn, fake tears and all. But then I dialed it back and realized they are being fed this narrative by kody and Robyn, to the extent that breanna was echoing the same words Robyn has used. I feel for them, because what else are they supposed to think. I hope someday the “kids” can talk amongst themselves and Robyn’s kids will be able to see the perspective of the other kids and the other kids can see the favoritism wasn’t the fault of the kids

The truth is he had one wife and two girlfriends and with them thirteen kids. Then he find a better girlfriend but still want the other girlfriend and his wives money so he could support his new girlfriend.
The new girlfriend was jealous, extremely jealous and only want the man. She didn’t care about the other women in his life and definitely not about his kids, kids she didn’t want anything to do with at all except Mykelti that was easy to grooming and manipulate.
This new girlfriend want the marriage certificate so she have the legal rights to Kodys assets. So she convinced him to adopt her kids. When she had the legal marriage she start to blackmail her husband so he didn’t spend so much time with his ex wife and his two girlfriend but they need them still so Kody doesn’t need to pay child support for thirteen kids. So she need to wait but still want the most time with him. Covid was the best thing happen to her because now she can have him for real all the time. But she didn’t calculate that anyone should leave. She thought they would stay and pay for her lifestyle so she’s shocked that Christine leaves and one salary disappear from her and then Janelle stop to support Kody and Robyn and I think now Robyn is hyperventilate because she see how they money disappear so when Meri says she moving her business to Utah Robyn got panic attack. Who will pay for her lifestyle now!
This episode was wild. I had to pick my jaw off the floor at least twicem Kody uttering those words of all feelings are reciprocated....this dude is worse than i ever thought. I HATE him.

Well Cody is the expert on bs rationalizing!😂 I actually understand what Christine was saying, taking Truley away before she realizes that her dad has no interest in spending time with her would hopefully keep their relationship good. Now she can just blame his absence on the distance.

The saddest part for me was the interviews with Gabe and Aurora. If the parents would get out of the way, I think the kids would be fine.
now we have the answer as to why kody didn't have Savannah over to his house for Christmas. He didn't because of Brianna. He took sides between his daughters. Basically throwing one away for the other. A real father would have sat the 2 of them down together and helped them work it out. For Brianna to not speak to Savannah over differences in Covid is not a legit reason.
Kody and Robyn are the reason Breanna isn’t speaking with Savvana. If you ever lived with an abusive parent they groom you. Breanna is getting praised by them for being obedient.

It didn't even occur to me until you said it, but yes...he knows Brianna sees savannah daily, but they don't speak. If they were good parents, they would be encouraging the kids' relationships and leave them out if their marriage issues.

While I do have sympathy for Robyn’s girls - they are 100% being lied to by their parents - they are also the same girls who made fun of Savanna’s living space/bedroom in the RV. It must be heart wrenching to see these two “siblings” have everything you used to - a house, your own father - and to have them turn around and still be unkind.
And while it was great that Savanna (finally) got to spend time with Kody, it seemed that it only happened because Truely was there. Does that mean Kody doesn’t come around at all to see Savanna? That’s a rhetorical question, we all know the answer to that. 💔

It sure wasn't nice or comfortable seeing Brianna cry like that, however it is Robyn's fault, we know that's exactly what she's said in every single episode and you can't tell me she shields her children from that way of thinking too, you know she's said in front of them

She sounds exactly like Robyn. Which leads me to believe Robyn feeds this narrative to them on the daily. I could not tell if she was really crying, but her sister seemed confused on how to react to her. I also like how Gabe and Aurora treat each other as family.
Remember how Brianna and Aurora treated Savannah at the rv. I think that shows who is bullying who.
I remember and it appears these girls have a nasty side and are not victims of bullying. It also interesting as Janelle financed the big home they are living in and that is why Janelle and Savannah have to live in the trailer.

What I took away from the Text message drama was that the kids wanted to get together and exchange presents and Robyn instead wanted to do the exchange over ZOOM..am I the only one who got that?

Few things i notice how much Breanna learned from her mom how to be a victim and manipulate. She could contact or talk to ANY of her siblings instead of waiting for them to do it. Robyn had already poisoned her children before the text message. I wonder how many of the children conflicts with Breanna aas not a manipulation by her and Robyn used tomprove her point. Kody definitely doesn't care about Truely.

During this episode I though yeah, I really, really, really dislike Robyn. She is doing a number on her own kids. Why do they need to feel so crappy about what is going on between Kody and his wives? Those kids are taking it all so personally, and it really isn't anything to do with them. Her kids feeling like that is ALL Robyn's doing. Robyn should be doing her best to protect her kids from what is going on, not encouraging them to think all the other kids hate them! Kind of evil methinks.

Contrast that with Christine encouraging Truly to spend time with Kody as well as being idk proud that Mykelti has a great relationship with Robyn. As my grandma would say "the proof is in the pudding."
I believe one day, with all these reruns, Robyn’s kids will see the truth. Eventually Robyn and Kody will be completely alone. Not one kid will want to be near those two dysfunctional, narcissistic, angry people.

I'm so glad yall pointed out that Truely goes to visit him! Kody doesn't seem to travel to visit any of his children but wants them to come to him like he's the king or chief. I cringe seeing Mykelti visit him so often. When she hits 30 she will realize how lopsided it is and stop being the only one to travel so much. I'm the one who lives the furthest and the only one who visited everyone but now, not so much. They better come to me or meet me halfway.

I see a family of kids that see themselves as siblings who want to continue to be siblings. Garrison, Gabe and Paedon want to reconnect with Dayton. Aurora and Gabe talk to each other at school sometimes. Savannah and Breanna know where each other is but don't reach out fearing rejection. Gwendlyn is going to search for Aurora at school now that she knows where Aurora hangs out.
I see Christine, Janelle and Meri wanting the kids to stay connected and supporting those relationships.
I see Robyn and Kody putting up barriers between the kids. Kody won't let any of Robyn's kids have relationships with the others if they don't accept and vow obedience to Robyn first. Robyn won't let her kids develop relationships with the other kids if she is not included.
Robyn, you are not a package deal with your kids. Three of them are adults. Get out of the way and let the kids rebuild their relationships without your interference. If the younger two don't recognize their siblings, that's on you.

I don't know about the saddest comment, but just heart wrenching to see the damage done and continued to be done to the kids, and I frankly think R and K hold the majority of the blame for that
Watching this episode made me realize a few things.
1. Janelle was able to leave because she realized she wouldn’t lose the only thing that mattered which was the second mother to her children Christine.
2. Robyn chose Mykelti to be her sister wife. Mykelti is who helped raised Robyn’s children and that is why they are still close. Even though the age gap between Robyn’s children and Mykelti is pretty slim.

Well, Robbem's kids have been raised by Cruella, who has brainwashed them.
Kody is truly a horrible father. To come out and say what he does and not care to see them. And to outright lie about reaching out to them. Outrageous.
I was so angry with this episode. As much as it vexed me to have Breanna sit in front of the camera and sob about Savanna and the other kids not being nice to her, I was just as furious with Kody and Robyn perpetuating the situation by constantly telling these poor girls that they are hated by the other families. The other kids have constantly said they don’t hate Robyn’s kids; their beef is with Robyn. I’m starting to think Kody and Robyn are trying to give these poor girls a complex. Ugh.

Robin is holding her kids very tight to her and make them completely dependent on her to explain the world to them. They will never (at least without therapy) trust anyone to actually be there for them. The psychologist said that they will always doubt their own judgment of other people and I think he is right on about that.
Where in the world could Robyn’s kids get the idea that the rest of the family doesn’t care about them??? When they were talking about the 9:09 gift exchange one of the girls heard that some people (kids?) in the family were saying unkind things about them? I just can’t imagine….. now excuse me while I gag. Robyn should be ashamed of herself. Some day she’ll have to answer for this, that’s what I want to see.

IMO Aroura looked terrified admitting that she has spoken to Gabe while on campus....like she might face kody/Robyn's wrath for reaching outside of the bubble Robyn has curated.
The saddest thing I felt was Gwendolyn said she wishes could say she didn't care if Kody is mean and ugly to everyone, but it still hurts her.
The walking wounded is a good way of putting it. That dinner + pie conversation was the most truthful thing we have seen on the show. It was very obvious that even though Garrison was trying to be strong that they were all really hurting. I feel really badly for Robyn's kids because it's clear they have been brainwashed by her and Kody. It's very manipulative. They are so young and it's hard when this kind of abuse comes from the family.
The comment of Tony has a special bond with Robyn doesn’t surprise me at all. He’s all about himself. Remember when he told the parents to take out a second mortgage to afford Mykelti & Tony’s marriage? Now that’s some selfish crap!!

I think the saddest part(s) of this epidsode were Savannah and Gabe. Savannah having her dad at her graduation likely because Brianne was also graduating. And Gabe admitting to having a friendship with Aurora like it was forbidden and admitting it might get her into teouble with K and R. JMHO
Breanna seemed surprised that Aurora speaks to Gabe, which means she obviously was keeping it a secret… these poor kids… it made me look at their situation differently…. Sneaking to speak to your sibling is a different kind of fear
I hadn’t thought of this. I was giving Kody credit for showing up to Savannah’s graduation, but now realize that the effort he made was not for Savannah. 😢
Savanna can’t be blamed. Her father chose Brianna over her. Of course she will have resentment. And Brianna is hurt because she doesn’t know/understand that Kody did that and just thinks Savanna doesn’t like her
I feel bad for Christine that Mykelti seems to see Robyn as just as much of a “mom” as Christine. She’s so gracious about it, but it’s got to hurt when it’s not Janelle or even Meri, but Kody’s favorite. And then having Robyn right there during Mykelti’s labor, while she’s going through her divorce… 😢.
I really hope Gab and Aurora can keep their brother/ sister friendship. Robbing Robyn will see this episode and tell Aurora not to talk to Gab anymore now….. Robyn will manipulate their friendship in some way to separate them!!!!

Brianna said that right BEFORE the text chain they found out they were.excluded from Christmas and no one wanted or liked them (paraphrase) and the text chain confirmed it, which tells me Robin sat them down like she did with the previous holiday and gaslit the crap out of the rest of the family by telling CHILDREN no one loved them all enough to be safe and come. Then when Robin butted in to the kids convo after priming her crew to believe no one wanted anything to do with them, she "proved" her point. Sad! I've lived through a relative like this, she managed to give all available generations all kinds of emotional trauma and difficulty.

Gwen has definitely changed her tune on Kody now compared to earlier in the year.
Robyn plays the victim over and over and she's taught her daughters to be victims as well.
Most boy/men fail in Polygamy. Kody entered polygamy to get his “pencil wet”. He obviously did not “love these women” when they, so called, married. He legally married Meri and found out he made a mistake quick. Married Janelle because she had a house to live in(money). Got with Christine because she had a grandfather that was a leader in church, whatever…. He had a vision of “having the cake and icing too”. He thought, “I can do what all these men in the world would do in their dreams”. He is nasty, evil, devil, bad, mentally abusive…..etc…
The irony is that the money he gave Gwen was stolen from the other wives.
Janelle didn't even have him help her move to the new apartment, and clearly he didn't offer. And yet he thinks he should be welcome loke a husband?!?! What planet is he living on?

I respect your decision to not go after any of the kids and I do agree, But Robyn’s girls are so miserable and sad to watch. She has created two more of herself. They are very negative and use the crying bit to get peoples sympathy. It was so painful to watch. I respect that they have their own difficulties in this family disaster but it was just to miserable to watch. Janelle and Christine’s kids are also hurt but way more in reality about it and not trying to get everyone to pity them. Thanks for the recap!

Watching Robyn's kids is really sad. Kids being manipulated and emotionally abused thinking no one likes them. Poor kids being so unnecessarily wounded.

Aurora was trying to justify her saying hi to Gabriel. It is sad. Because she is only doing that because her parents are saying the contrary: to fear him, that he does not love her, that he is mean and wanted her dead in covid etc…
I have to admit I was a bit worried about what K+R were gonna say to Aurora after she publicly admits she thinks Gabe is kind. And you can see Gabe doesn't even trust himself to speak, he's so close to the verge of tears. Their relationship seemed to be like a forbidden friendship, like they came from feuding families and their friendship had to be hidden, secret, and minimal so they can't be found out.
You know what would be the ultimate irony? If Gabe and Aurora ended up together!
The best part of the whole episode was the sneak peeks at the end. The rest of it was really sad, especially for the kids.
The root of the problem is that Kody would not let Christine watch Robyn’s kids because he was afraid they would love / prefer Christine more than them. Christine is the heart of the family.
The picnic proved they were Robyn's rules. Kody could not have cared less!

Not gonna lie… I laughed during Brianna’s couch interview. And I wasn’t laughing at her… you could just see Robyn talking thru her. It was a freaky twilight zone moment and it made me uncomfortable for the girls.

Agree, that seemed so not like Kody to call Christine to see if he could see Truely. He likely did hear she was filming and thought he'd get on camera being Mr. Wonderful, dad edition, requesting time with Truely. I also loved that Janelle had the camera turned off for most of her dinner date with Kody. I cracked up thinking of him realizing that he'd committed himself to a long drive and dinner at a fancy restaurant, and he wasn't going to get the bulk of it on camera.
