I agree!! For all who don’t agree with this man remember that God told us what sin is. We serve a God who don’t change. Not think for a second that he told us what sin is then changed his mind. We are not saved for following the law yet that proves we love him. This is just one way we are set apart.

@@alexcarlo7110 Hi Alex, Australia is in shambles at the moment. The segregation is gut wrenching, families are really struggling and there are many unvaccinated individuals that have lost their income. We are keeping strong, in constant conversation and prayer with God.
As long as we have our Lord and Saviour we require nothing else. Life is moving forward and we are pushing on. Life is good my friend. It's great to be alive during these trying times, having our faith tested is a privilege and a blessing.

WHILE salvation of your soul is completely up to you and your views of life. Hence the freewill He gave us. What's the truth? Saying it's biblically dishonest that humans are unclean but has nothing to do with eating, without backing it in fact.

This irrefutable thing your claiming is ballony. He is purposely misrepresenting and distorting, to seem convincing. Read Genesis 9 on what Noah is actually instructed about eating. Compare that to Doug. He does this time and again. Acts 10 is also mistreated, besides, Acts 15 clearly states what gentile can and cannot eat. No mention of pig is there. What is there is the realization that the yoke was too much for the jews, and should not be applied to all. God bless you all. I'm a bit sad that Doug is so manipulative. I he can bend truth like that, it isn't pretty.
Thank you for this. As a Christian, I have already doubts about eating pork. We used to raise pigs and they are one of the dirtiest animals.

Usually pigs are actually pretty clean my dad raised pigs many years ago they would not poop in their bed they usually kept that clean and dry they will lay in the mud because they have no sweat glands and that’s the way they keep cool.
But I understand keeping their bed clean doesn’t make their meat clean to eat.
yes, pig farms and pigs will even spread disease germs all over the whole countryside , by the wind and handling etc.

Good job Pastor.Doug! As a Baptist, it took me a while to understand and accept this truth because I thought God told me in Acts chapter 10 and 1 Timoth chapter 4 told me that I could eat pork. But it's important to know that when the apostle Paul said "it was sanctified by the word of God and prayer"(1 Tim 4:5) He was speaking from Leviticus chapter 11 because the new testament was not written yet. The old testament was all they had at that point in time.

@@Enzoew Leviticus 11 ( Jesus always kept laws of God) Being a Christian I am not telling, you should not eat. There is nothing wrong. Person can eat pork, drink alcohol (all within limit) It is better to prefer other meats compared to pork. God wants we human to be healthy. He cares for us.

@@PastorBatchelor pastor Doug, I’m struggling with this question and feels like I almost cannot eat anything. What about food that has unclean meat in it? For example, things like chocolate, chips, gum, cheese on products, marshmallows, jelly, peanut butter, etc. Even things like shampoo or toothpaste contain pork in them. Now I don’t know if they use a lot of pork or not but either way, should we avoid them? It feels like almost everything has pork in it

(mostly Gelatine containing pork) That’s why you‘d pick out the ones that do not contain them. May be a bit harder to find, but it’s better than breaking commandments purely for enjoyment.

I know Jesus would never cast a demon into something clean , so I'm left believing Jesus only grated the request of the demon(unclean) to be cast into swine (unclean) because both were and are unclean. Even though the New Covenant does away with the old covenant Levitical laws, not all foods are beneficial, though they are permitted.

1. The “truth” Paul is referring to is the Law of God...Psalm 119:142
2. The meats that have been sanctified by the Word, which means set apart ,Holy, and clean, can be found in Leviticus 11. You can’t have something set apart without something else being unclean.
3. Paul is the most misunderstood Apostle in the New Testament. He’s been made into a minister of Lawlessness which is nothing new. He was misunderstood back then as well which is why Peter gave a warning about Paul’s letters in 2 Peter 3:16.....
5. The new Covenant is God’s Laws written on our hearts and minds Jeremiah 31:31.34
5.Always remember what the definition of sin is and one place that can be found is 1 John 3:4- sin is transgression of the Law. Paul nor Jesus would never tell someone it’s ok to break the Law of God....The doctrines of devils will be those that will have you breaking the Laws of God in the Name of Jesus and will have you thinking obedience to The Law is sin. Christ is coming back for a Holy bride but the vast majority of Christians, including Pastors and Teachers, will find themselves begging Christ to enter into His Kingdom but won’t be able to. Matthew 7:21-23

Deuteronomy 12:22 - "Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike."
Pork is an abominable meat; I never touch it.
An incomplete explanation that did not mention that the Apostles determined only 2 dietary restrictions for gentiles. 1. Don't eat meat sacrificed to idols. 2. Don't eat blood. Read Acts and Galatians. It is utterly clear that the dietary restrictions do not apply to gentiles. This reverend failed to cover these parts. He cherry picked.

@@TheAstilesus because SDAs are modern Judaizers. 1 Timothy 4 : 4 is pretty clear, but they twist the Scripture. I agree that Swine is filthy (I am a hog grower as business venture and I went to Vet School for 6 years but I pursued another degree) but I never eat swine uncooked. The problem with these Judaizers is they tend to overlook the Jerusalem Council in Acts and Paul's letter to the Galatians who were quickly deserting God for another Gospel (not that there is another gospel) but a Gospel of Works.
Pork was never on the food list period. Since I received the Holy Spirit, I have stopped eating the unclean foods. Bless you pastor...

Ever since I stopped eating pork I have not had any sickness/disease/allergies and it is truly a testimony. Now I know personally that eating pork is still a sin. I love God/Jesus and will follow His word to the best of my ability.
Even as an SDA I don’t think it’s a sin that could land you in hell. I think it’s one of those things God commanded to protect us from the diseases that those things carried. If you accidentally ate pork, you aren’t automatically going to hell.
The horrendous abuse & horrific death animals suffer at the hands of humans will land you in Hell though. Please go vegan .. it is evil beyond compare what mankind subjects animals too ...

The Old Covenant was only binding on Israel. It was intended to set the Israelites apart from the Gentiles. We are now saved by the grace found in the New Covenant, and as Paul taught, we are not bound by the regulations of the Law found in the Old Covenant.

I worked in the meat department of a large grocery chain, mainly behind the counter serving customers. (For much of this time I attended a small SDA church, until my car died and I was unable to afford a replacement) We had strict instructions on storing meat. The beef, lamb, poultry, and pork were each stored in separate areas of the cooler. I had a separate cooler for fish. There were separate processing areas and saws for beef, lamb, and pork. Sometimes when they were cutting pork on the saw, they would hit some disgusting “pus pockets” near the bone. If I hadn’t already been a vegetarian, this would definitely have put me off meat. I had to remove parasites from the fish that I had to process, also. Unfortunately it’s becoming more difficult to find good, clean produce that hasn’t been contaminated by salmonella, etc.
a lot of those fish parasites etc are from the FARMED fish.
None of the fish parasites are pathogenic, meaning they will not make anyone sick.
As one who has owned a grocery store and spent 52 years in the meat cutting industry, I can assure you the same happens in both domesticated and wild animals of all species.
Yahshua said, Matthew 15:11 (HRB) "It is not the thing entering into the mouth that defiles the man, but the thing coming forth out of the mouth, this defiles the man." Though the context of the verse speaks about Yahshua's reply to the Pharisees criticizing Him for not washing His hand everytime He eats, the lesson can be taken literally for any that we feed our mouth with. Conversely, Apostle Paul said this in Romans 14:6 (TS1998) " He who minds the day, minds it to יהוה. And he who does not mind the day, to יהוה he does not mind it. He who eats, eats to יהוה, for he gives Elohim thanks. And he who does not eat, to יהוה he does not eat, and gives Elohim thanks. "
Yahweh is indeed concerned with our physical health the reason why He issued the statutes regarding food in the book of Leviticus. However, He is much more concerned with our spiritual health, thus Yahshua said, "it is not what entered a man's mouth that defiled a man but what comes out of his mouth/heart

I thank God that he led me to learn about clean and unclean foods. When I was younger, I ate pork and shellfish. Never realized that there was a reason God didn’t want us to eat those food. They are scavengers. Thank you Jesus for leading me in the right direction 🙏🏾🙌🏾

All animals that come from a slaughterhouse are unclean. They are also abused and unnecessarily killed. In the Bible, they are animals as an allowance in Leviticus right after the flood. Note all the plantation was washed away, so it was a temporary diet. We are not in a that situation in this country,a t this time. And to the point. Althow the Old Testament clearly prohibits pork, the New one doesn't. God allowes to eat all kinds of meat, becouse it has been cleansed.

Thank you very much Preacher Doug, 10 years back, God Almighty in His Holy Spirit told the church in Rhema words, where we congregated for prayers, through me, in Isaiah 65:3 that we should not be eating Pork. The laws Jesus nailed on the cross were the sacrifical laws, because he came to be the sacrifice for us. He knew no sin and became sin for us, that His dying on the cross might save us if we believe in the finished work. The sacrifices were pointing at what Jesus came to do, those were abolished.

I was raised Adventist, no pork in our home, but this has given me a good way of explaining to our children why we don’t bring pork into our home. It’s so easy to say, “It’s bad.” We don’t always have a good “why.”

I was born and educated a Roman Catholic, which I no longer follow, just what I read in the KJB. I posted the video information as they both opened on this topic, Walter Veith at least adds scientific papers about changes when they use control group plants, small amounts of flesh from various animals and the chemical reactions. They support the Bible, it is healthier to follow God's list but not soul breaking to Christianity.

My dad is in his 50s. He eats bacon-and-eggs for breakfast every morning. He isn't exactly Anna, perfect diet and he doesn't work out all that much. But he took a physical and the doctor said he was one of the healthiest 50-year-olds they've examined. I'm not saying bacon is the healthiest thing. You can eat, but it just seems very flawed to say that it's bad for you. And my dad also says that he's known several 100-year-old throughout his life, and they all tell him to eat bacon for breakfast every morning. Seems like a bit of hogwash to me, pun intended. I found out that my mom bought ice cream and bread and other things while it was still the Sabbath and she knows that buying on the Sabbath is wrong. I did not know that she bought those things while it was the Sabbath. My question: Is it okay that I eat the things she bought while it was still the Sabbath? ( i wrote this yesterday)

Scavenger animals such as swine, shrimp, and lobster were not even considered food, so the NT verse about not judging the food a person eats does not mean it is ok to eat non-food (unclean animals). It is referring to animals sacrificed to idols.

That's not accurate. The bible and the Quran are totally different books.
I would encourage you to read the indjil in your own language. You will see that the Bible shows a VERY different Jesu, and the Isa of the Quran cannot save you from going to hell, were Allah (the best of deceivers, the father of lies) will also be sent (the lake of fire). You drink water that the pigs went in.. unclean things is in all water ... all .... and the traditions of man is everything that they practice that Jesus Christ said not to do then and now

God forbids adam to eat the fruit of knowledge of good and evil and so with unclean animals...there are only two choices, to obey or disobey, you have your freedom to choose..
