Well, Red John would’ve definitely known all the members of the Blake Association and combined with the info that he knows, that Jane knows he has shaken hands with RJ; I don’t think it would be that difficult for him to come up with a list of people Jane has shook hands with that are *also* members of the BA..
I was pretty much set on Thomas Mcallister being red john the moment I heard him mention his title as sheriff; He didn't do the others like that which was a dead giveaway, at that particular moment of arrogance he let down his guard and show his narcissist side by showing how superior he felt by mentioning his title! 🔥😉👍💯
Why people are so stupid to understand this trick. Like Jane, Red John was able to manipulate, estimate people, and guess events. The sheriff was just a role he played.
Please explain why us people are stupid. ? The TV series depicted how Jane knew who Red John was. Brilliant work on Mentalism from uk guy Bruno Heller On a side note Gotham by Bruno Heller was brilliant. Tyger Tyger Written by ? I know you will use google 🤣
@@simplythebest286 nah they did alright. Partridge was too fidgety and not the calculating type, he was emotional and not able to hide his emotions from others. Had he been RJ though, it would have been a masterpiece of hoodwinking. I'm fairly satisfied with how the story turned out, except Bertram completely losing his mind in the end. The political type, CBI boss, always had manners. Him being in the Blake association because he had to hide something, fine, but becoming and outright murderer who kills on sight and out of cold blood? That seemed a bit off to me.
I think ONE tell here is that all suspects were mentioned with their names, except Mcallister, by title, too Sheriff. & indulged to drop his own title. He could have used director for Bertram at least... but everyone was a 'commoner'!
Bob Kirkland always talked about Jane and Red John to Smith, even going so far as to steal Jane's suspect list. As all fans know, however, the list is false. Smith was part of the Blake Association, but he didn't know Red John. However, he mentioned that he was recruited by a detective. This detective probably had a partner of Jane's as a friend, since, if I'm not mistaken, probably only Jane's best friends at CBI knew about the real list. Probably one of them told the detective, who probably knew Red John, about the real list and Red John found out that way.
I hate to admit it but Jane was actually pretty lucky.... The info about the handshake was overwhelmingly too lucky... But i guess the series need to ended it so maybe that too
I always thought it was kind of dumb as that line could easily just be used as a metaphor for becoming aware of eachothers existence. Aka they metaphorically "shook hands" when red john left the letter for Jane after killing his family. If she'd have said that to me I wouldn't even have thought twice about it because I wouldn't assume she'd know about a literal shaking of hands occurring 😂
The writers couldn't figure it out, so they just left it to our imagination!! To be honest, I am disappointed at this ending! Made more sense if somewhere they revealed this trick!
Lisbon fica tensa quando vê Lorelei machucada ! Jane também estava nervoso , triste por ver Lorelei e a lista dos suspeitos. Não se sabe como Red John descobriu .
I thought it was Partridge. He was there in the first episode and Patrick was weirded out by him. I even thought he faked his death when Lisbon was abducted.
I remember arguing with everyone during season 2 that Gale Bertram was RJ and I was SO certain I was right that when this scene aired I was a smug as hell asshole lol I was nearly right too lol
@@videoizliyom3633 Nah I got the season wrong when commenting, I was sure he appeared in S2 but after re-watching the series recently yeah his first appearance was Season 3 episode 1.
How was bob kirkland even on the list? Patrick had not met him until after lorelei had been incarcerated and possibly reede smith as well. It was obvious it was sheriff mcallister as 1. Bob kirkland met jane after lorelei was imprisoned. 2. Reede smith for possibly the same reason and fat. 3. Brett patridge on multiple occasions mistook fake red john works for the real thing. 4. Brett stiles was high in visualise when rookie visualise carved the smiley face. 5.gale bertram being a director and public figure would have been too closely had someone notice his absence if he went on a rj killing. So that leaves mcallister and the other dude

personally I think RJ is psychic. I think brett stiles is too old to be red john and I believe that red john is actually bret partridge since he appeared since the first episode of the series
They picked the most unfitting picture for McAllister, since it's obviously from his imdb
The photo of McAllister is from his imdb page
It is still weird that they never explained how red john figured out the 7 names , I think that even writers dont know how

The actor who plays Brett Partridge is in his mid 40s, actually. So he's the right age.
