You know you've got the best \m/ guitar channel when bass players are subscribed and tuning in, and stepping up their game.

You know he's doing it right when he can explain it simple enough for a bass player to understand and apply it. 😂🤣😂🤣 I joke... or am I? 😂😂😂

Seriously though, I didn't know anything about this channel until a couple of weeks ago, when his Circle of Fifths video showed up in my feed. I finally understood, so maybe you're right..

And here I was expecting Dragonforce-esque tremolo picking lol... reminds me what I've been working on this week. I keep coming up with variations on a theme, trying it out in different ways. I ended up taking it in a completely different direction while still sounding 'familiar' to the ear.
    thanks for sharing!

We're definitely due for a Dragonforce style video on here!

I know I could use the Metal Theory video, Im 45 and I get this feeling in my gut whenever other player mention theory related stuff. Its not like I havent tried, Ive borrowed videos and books that others recommend but It never sinks in.

Here's our latest theory (Ken breaks this down so it's easy to use and understand): ua-cam.com/video/HTSpt4tQHNU/v-deo.html

Great lesson. I actually have most trouble getting that clean chugging sound you get.

Hey Jason ! this lesson was AWESOME ! By the way ! you mentioned catchy melodies, Would you be interested in a lesson based around Ensiferum, more precisely the old-ish Ensiferum where i think they specialised in kind of simple yet very very catchy melody, and not too difficult, it oftentime revolves around the minor scale (i think😂)
Thank you for this great lesson, ton of useful value in there ^^

Damn Jason thank you! Harmonising sounds so cool. I was looking here and there for a while how this works (or what this effect already is, haha). And now it turns out this is so so easy and easy to explain. 🤘
Edit. So after triing i still dont get it when i try to harmonise a melodie😂. Maybe you can get deeper on this topic in another Video?

I can definitely do another video going deeper into that!
