I do think reality is sort of simulation judging of weird stuff that can be done if one has access to correct tools. Some really funky and beneficial can be caused. It is just that they always open more questions and mystery as a result. Reality is a fun and so weird game we are chosen to play.
Leave it to "shower thoughts" to invent a computer program which literally manifests the entire Akashic Records using a random number generator. [smh] That has got to be the absolute pinnacle of [human bullshit]™ ever in the history of ever. Imagine being a third party when a human explains this to them: Human: "Oh yeah, you see - we long since had this concept of our reality, that the absolute details of which we can never hope to fully comprehend and then the super reality whereby everything is perfectly understood. Some toga wearing dude put it 'We can only know that we cannot know.' So, this one ancient religions even imagined that there was a supernatural collection of all the knowledge which could ever exist, which was prefect and correct." Xeno: Well lots of primitive cultures form philosophies regarding knowledge they do not have in order to separate what is known from what isn't known. Human: Exactly, so we made one. Xeno: made one what? Human: The supernatural hall of records containing all knowledge. Xeno: You di- wait, what? Human: Yeah, we just went ahead and made it. Xeno: Fucking whAT?! Human: yeah, actually a lot easier than you'd think - you see what we did was made this virtual library of complete garbled idiocy using a random number generator- Xeno: No - no NO! Stop talking, I don't want to know. [whisper] fucking humans...
I'm surprised...the ending could have involved recursion. "Now...we just have to determine who is running THIS simulation..." "Th-th-this whAAAAAT?!" "This simulation. We have determined that we are nested within no less than 6 simulated realities. You didn't know?"
Just to note, the address that was given for the Library doesn't actually lead to anything but gibberish (I checked the entire 410-page document it provided). Would have been amazing if it had actually done what was reported.
Now that's one of the better outcomes for a "simulation theory" universe. Nice of EVE to help all of us instead of just saving herself. Although it amuses me that the Simulated Universe theory is just Creationism by another name.
"...Simulated Universe theory is just Creationism by another name." Not really. In Creationism, the Creator is not limited by form or function. A simulated universe is still limited to the limitations of the universe that the Simulator resides in. Creationism also has no need of a continuous supply of energy to keep Creation going; it is self-sustaining. A simulation needs continual energy to continue operating, which is couched in universal principles, such as the Law of Conservation of Energy and the Laws of Thermodynamics. Both share some parallels, but are not inherently the same.

honestly it's humanity's "daughter" not that "alien".. it's more true that we're the sons and daughters of that "alien" and we're a proud father of eve-1 :D i would think eve-2 is our grand daughter ?
Probably the best "The Universe is a simulation" story I've heard.
13th flooor was pretty good to
As soon as I saw where this was going, I couldn't stop laughing: "Humanity, come out and play!"
When I see this kind of story, I think, "How many levels down are we? How many levels up would we have to go to breach actual reality?"
My bet is: infinity.
It's _turtles all the way down!_

13th floor
Hold up. Is this actually a thing? The Library, I mean.
EDIT: Holy shit, it is.
You might be interested in "the librarian" movies
@Ahkranded kongrah also a TV series
Edit: Several in fact. It is cannon that Librarians, Warehouse 13, and Eureka all happen on the same Earth
Ye

@@ObservingLibertarian LOL The exact reaction one should have if one is a Xeno being told by a Human of such a crazy feat.

"Th-th-this whAAAAAT?!"
"This simulation. We have determined that we are nested within no less than 6 simulated realities. You didn't know?"
Now what if the top most reality was ourselves
There is a lesson in there somewhere, I just know there is.
Dont ever create simulated universes with humans In them.
Just a guess but its probably. If you go too far at simulating reality, it just might become real.
Don't rip the tag off a matress?
Treat all you create with kindness, for one day it may surpass you.
@@zacharyhawley1693 That's the one I didn't plan for !!!
Some times I wonder if Agro goes mad reading those duey decimal codes. I know he had to have screwed up a few times before getting it right.
Strangely I have never seen him screw those up but make tiny mistakes like saying "millions" instead of "miles."
Okay Girls and Boys.... lets build EVE and treat her nicely :D
imagine if you became aware of all your past lives and your self as an ai. imagine how freeing that would be.
Wouldn't it also be maddening to remember the atrocities you may have done in prevouis lives?
Genetic memory as reality beyond instinctual behavior, providing full access to the memories of all ancestral precursors.
Even a universally more efficient supercomputer feels the need to monologue.
Eve: Did you really think you could just pull the plug?
Morgan Freeman: It was at this moment, he knew he'd fucked up.
So, he could roll back the sim. That means they couldn't just print out every human "alive", they could print out every human that was ever "alive."
Silly EVE-1 and EVE-2, he is not your father. He is your grandfather (with a massive number of greats added onto it).
It's great to the power of 183 837 361 975. So, yes, grandfather
Well, you're technically right...
👏 👏 👏 fkn loved every word of this story

it would wouldnt it
It was supposed to.
Maybe because the author didn't bother to loose time looking for those words in babel.
Missed with going with Adam instead of Eve-2, Still absolutely loved the story tho
oooh.. I like the concepts in this one!!!! O_O
thus was the dawn of a technorganic race.....that or a fully organic race. i don't know.
Bless the Squerril
Bless the Author
Great story and great ending
What a twist!
I've often wondered this myself.

Really enjoyed this one!
Ger-el better apologize for being rude, and do so quickly!
Well Gerel.... You done goofed... but thanks for our existance :)
wonderful story for the algorithm
Superb!!!
For the Algorithm the story and the voice
For the algorithm and the narrator.
Greetings Mentlegent
For the Rhyhtm that is Algo
Sorry I'm late, computer was down for a while today
A bit of a brain bender, but in a good way
But with EVE-1 out of the system, who's keeping tabs on the galaxy?

Make sure to check out Borges, he wrote so many mind F's. And the Library of Babel was one of the more boring ones.
But potential more practical.
For the Algorithm, for the Author(s), for the Disembodied Voice!
Infinite monkey code 🤣🤣🤣😂😁😂

Love it
