If you know what you're doing, this is by far one of the best classes in the game.
I feel like i should expand on this for anyone new to the game and trying this class. There is not a single other class that can output the amount of physical damage this class can do besides doing some cheese with thief backstabbing. 99 percent of the time you will use the offensive options and not rhe defensive one. You can buff yourself or have other mages buff you and your defense will be more than good enough to.stand next to.your fighters and clerics. Starting with two weapon fighting is excellent although your weapon selection is a tad limited to start with but ultimately it wont matter. DO NOT USE ANYTHING EXCEPT DUAL WIELDING WITH THIS CLASS.
Yep! One of top three, easily! Even pre-HLA, defensive spin gives stackable -10 AC, that and arcane defensive buffs, allows Blade to outtank any fighter/paladin/ranger, while offensive spin maximizes your damage per hit. Also, having magical throwing dagger in the main hand, with +1 attack weapon in the off-hand, coupled with offensive spin, gives you 5 attacks per round, double that with haste from Graxx's ring, for 10APR, for non-fighter, pre HLA, still, in chapter 2... Oh! And bards can use Tensor's Transformation, just for the kicks... And meteors...
Once you get to HLA, you can have Time-Stop traps, and Improved Whirlwind Attacks... And use any item, literally, any! Imagine time-stop+offensive spin+10APR Corsomyr, for maximum damage... And then, there's your Simulacrum...
Bards are broken and Blade is the most broken one of them all. The only thing's more broken than Blade, is Wild Mage.
