- RIME MSK is a graffiti writer & artist from Brooklyn who gained international esteem for his graffiti, fine art & lifestyle. Representing the great MSK Crew, RIME grew up around people losing themselves to addiction & through the use of psychedelics was able to get past the hindrances present from the cynicism that comes with a broken spirit. In the past few years he left America to live in France & immerse himself in gardening/painting in a style of isolation. He started the Road Map Tour & travelled in an RV across America making paintings. He speaks on graffiti, spirituality, modern life & more. RIME has left an undeniable stamp in the history books of graffiti.

Salute to Rime . One of the best to ever touch a can of spray paint.
Facts. Him and Revok are very inspirational
Definitely got a creative and unique style but not one of the best when it comes to piecing, just facts.
@@Adrian-er2qo We are g onna have to agree to disagree with that one
He's talented but style kinda corny and almost more of a cartoonist than Graff writer
The fact that this interview wasn't truly about graffiti, while Joe being possibly one of the best living graffiti artists alive, made this a special epsiode to listen to.
Yeah the graffiti story is pretty boring. Once you heard a couple they are all basically the same. Rather hear about the person and other shit
most meaningful interview on the page. Salute RIME.
I love how multifaceted this interview is! ✨💯✨
This has to be one of my favorite podcasts I have EVER listened to. Rime is on many different levels and hearing this conversation hits on many aspects of my life and experiences I have had and will continue to have. Thanks for this episode!
big ups to Z for opening this up and leading the discussion
Great to see, he’s got GOLD to give!
Its so good to finally hear him talk about this, let alone at all on his level, I feel I understand his sitting back and observing what the situations have to give that has been presented on this podcast, respect for walking the line and being real
quite interesting how things align at times, bordering between coincidence and synchronization. i lean more towards one side because once you start to feel it and start to trust it, you receive direct assurance that you are following the correct path if you are open and accepting of the knowledge you acquire from your daily experiences. much love and respect for what yall do, z’s rockin a clean ass fade
Unexpectededly esoteric w/ out the incense & candles.Great episode and a great artist. 💥💥💥
a king for sure!
Such a great interview,RIME def is teacher on so many levels, this is awesome ta see as a older kat that was there in 80's,90's ect,Big ups and Respect🔥🔥🔥🏞🌀🌱
I believe as of now RIME is my current favorite writer. We love ya man!
🔥👊🔥
Big Big big up to the homie Joey Rime. I used to bump into him on the Staten Island Ferry back in the day, when he was in high school.Son was ill since back then . Black book master. Now he's international. Much respect.

Great interview. Rime has become a true renaissance man. Never limit yourself. Always learn more and get outside of your comfort zone.
Rime really took things to another level when it comes to piecing. I remember him crushing it with Setup in the early 2000’s and thinking they each had a unique style but then years later when he came through Detroit with MSK, my god he became so ill.
Seems like a really intelligent down to earth dude. Salute.
His best stuff was before all that when he was writing with Nace imo.
@DannnnyDannnn Man do I remember those pieces when they were here in Detroit. That huge burner cornered on MLK & Woodward. Some of the best stuff to ever come around here.
@@meltednostrilsbornwithoutn781 His style was always dope. RIP Nace.
@DannnnyDannnn Not according to Rime himself, he said he doesn't like some of his oldest stuff aesthetically.
@@meltednostrilsbornwithoutn781 I guess that’s not surprising. We’re talking about what, 20 years of progression? I personally like the simpler stuff and prefer a clean straight letter over super busy overly complex pieces but he just does it all so well.
He’s at the very top in my opinion. Just my 2 cents.
Rime's style is so fresh and so clean cleannn
This got so much more interesting and intense the deeper this cast went! Well said and great job
@19:00... Facts. Hindsight is 20/20. I'm 43, now. Wait. Believe me. Salute
This interview was real meaningful to me thank you guys and Rime. Peace and blessings
People definitely can overhype psychedelics as this completely life-altering thing but I think that reflects more about the person than the drug itself
you are quite right. Nevertheless i feel many people would benefit from taking shrooms in their 40s. Anyone that is not feeling completely "blossomed", and has good mental stability. It's a special moment in life, and also according to some the moment you switch zodiac signs to go into ascendant. Mid life crisis, in simple words... but simple words make simple thoughts. When you have been experiencing the stricly physical world for 4 decades, well, maybe you need to discover something else. The Akashik records he speaks of are old as the world. Freud himself said in a letter, that language is much newer to us than telepathy. How long have we been monkeys ? At some point, we even were mushrooms. That's what biology says.
you guys got the fresh cuts today. great episode
Love this dude, you can tell he's a fello tripper, thanks for the wisdom and influence,RIME IS FN AWESOME
This might be one of the only dudes I'd ever request you guys have for an interview...
Really looking forward to watching this...
Thanks guys 🤙
I have never felt so alike with writer,RIME MSK has always survived me with their vstyle,we are light beings controlled with voodoo,we are each others reflection, mad respect
in a world where everything is also nothing, the answer is always yes.
Rime is the man! He would have been a good psychiatrist, i'm super stoked he choose graffiti instead, I love his art and hearing him talk. I met him on the first or second day of the Road MapTour and I was fan boying!
Ima have sit down for this interview this what I like to see
Fucking love Rime and MSK. Big ups
Huntington park loves you rime!!
Rime/Setup was my favorite stuff
Best show you guys have done yet! BIG UP RIME! Graff world has too much ego. not enough intuitive artists and deep thinkers. .. i get the bomr mentality, but in reality, its just childish ego driven BS. its a self destructive life style. .. you have to maintain some type of balance, or you're going ruin your life eventually.
Great one 🎨
There's a theory that only people who have undergone trauma can have psy gifts.
That's for all those who won't understand. Pain and suffering simply make you more sensitive to everything.
Dont mistake it for weakness : it is not. It can be a burden, that being said. That's why you absolutely need to periodically re-ground yourself in reality if you have these gifts, or they will take over your sanity.
Rime on another level in so many different ways
Lol we both said, "Open up." , at the same time.
Awesome 💪🎨💣
Ye!
Great episode
They have Ewoks in MSK but they also have jedis :o
Great job.
This was a great discussion with a greatly integrated individual
One of my graffiti supa hero’s! Big up Rime
And it is crazy, especially with mushrooms cuz fungi are like one giant organism all connected through a web in the soil
cool interview!!
one of the best interviews so far
Listening to this while on mushrooms is a whole nother' level of mind blowing. What can I say that hasn't been said. Wow.
RIME & SETUP the best till tis day I had the honor of meeting him at the AGENDA Show in Vegas great dude... !
IDEALER -
as we are a bit related to mushrooms, I see what he means. what he's saying as he considers the earth as this one big conscious organism, responsible or not for it or not, I feel that same way about AI and technology, and what we've fed into it so far. (edit: 22:11 WIT ALL THAT RAH RAH RAH, HUN YA PlAyIN YASELF!)
Lol when he started saying he has done a lot of psychedelics…. Oh so now all the random waffle makes sense
Sounds like he’s tripping his ass off during the interview
All the praise in comments yet all I hear is typical of a guy who took too much of everything
Y’all are the only ones tripping he might have hit the dmt pen before but just cus you can’t dive into these deep thoughts doesn’t mean they don’t exist I thought this was a very progressive convo congrats to angel and z on this✔️
Maybe you're not ready yet but it's OK
man i love rime, its crazy how spirituality follows me everywhere. I guess its a sign.
There are no coincidences in life. once you learn to be aware the signs are all around you.
It will always follow us, as long as we stay attuned to it, it will always be a clear factor of everyday life, we have to be more aware of the distractions that are present that block that connection
@@kryptichands968 well said.
great video
Angel just chills
The graffiti shaman ❤
I really like this guy. He reminds me of a select few KYT dudes
One of my favs! Good job boys
Rime should talk with Swami Sarvapriyananda
this dude is hella wise
I knew this was guna b sum hippy dippy shit
Id love to see a big list of crews and and have a like family tree of whos in what crews. Cuz Rime was in Mayhem, right? With Chip and Nace and Met. Met in TA, along with When, who's also in DF. And Chip was also in NSF.
But was Chip in Mayhem first or NSF first? Stuff like that cuz ive kinda got Asperger's
Great conversation, Rime is a real one, great stuff
hard episode
43:40 I believe its the 4th industrial revolution
🫡 Jersey Joe
"claps"
Cool accent lol
He’s not from Brooklyn he’s from Jersey
In the words of Dead Prez, “TURN OFF THE RADIO”
How can I get a copy angel
Clawdia
this dude seriously believes if you put lemon juice on your face it distorts cameras? LMFAO
You never heard about invisible ink? You write with lemon juice and it's invisible until you heat the paper.
So the science is valid. As long has your face doesn't get hot, you should stay invisible
lemon juice is used to clean tear gas from eyes
Hardbody Joeseph is without question one of the most iconic, creative, and prolific writers to ever do it. He's also one of the most introspective, intelligent and well spoken artists out there as well. Big ups for putting this out. Also, Please christ remove that horrific claw ad in the beginning. Shit made me want to rip out my fuckin ear drums. Lol
Less Rabbi, more Graffiti.
Can't tell if Joe is burnt or just a regular liberal
dolphin fitness tho
Rime is toy y’all need to look up to painters like cope , he’s willing to do anything to survive he will even snitch on his own to see another day and go out to paint but Rime wouldn’t do that 💯
u cope
