He's not a singer. He was always an actor (same with Robson Greene). Simon Cowell manufactured this "boyband" in 1995 after a 1994 TV episode where both guys sang received massive fan responses. Both were reluctant at first, but money talks, and people gobbled it up.

He does say Robson and Jerome's real voices do feature though. But it is true they took a lot of flack at the time and when Dyer came out it didn't help things. It was much more common back then, personally I think it's a bit of fun but what you're hearing here isn't them.
I only wish I could meet Jerome and Robson. At 63 years of age I know this won"t happen. I lost my husband 16 years ago and this song just tears me apart. I love there music. Maybe if they come to Baltimore, Md I would love to go see them. Health and happiness to both. Love you guys.
My grandad had this on tape with Saturday night at the movies on the b side that he played in his car all the time. He was my best friend, lost him when I was 13. That was 14 years ago and I think about him and my other grandad I lost at 19 everyday. Best men iv ever had I my life ❤️
