YES! THIS is how you make an exhaust comparison video! NOICE!
Agreed !
Loved the format you used to make this video. Basically perfect!
You guys are smart. I can't stand people who do exhaust comparisons in enclosed spaces.
$550 for a slip on is just not worth it for me.........But excellent comparison video.
I paid 1080 for my Yoshi Alpha T for 2019 Gsxs ..Costly but I virtually got it free seeing I got $1000 dollars of my brand new bike due to ordering prior to April 2019. They sounds 100 times better on 750's or Liter bikes and just with slip on and air filter you gain up to 5 Bhp that's before ECU Flash /Dyno..
Yep, that's HOW we make exhaust sound comparison ♥
Definitely just me, but does anyone else kind of like the sound of the stock exhaust better? Like it’s obviously not loud enough but I prefer the scream over the growl of the slip on
washthebrain yess. Much preferred. Why would you want your sports buke to sound like a dirt bike
Mmh true. I’m not sure if I want to spend 509 now
The exhaust looks nice. I dont like the sound of the ninja 400 but damn the video was perfectly formatted. Bravo
Perfect comparison video thank you!
Would be awesome if you had a db meter to compare. I'm going to be getting my Z400 in a few weeks, and a slip on is one of the first things I think I want to do to it after the standard tail tidy/led conversion, but I really don't want a super loud exhaust (90 db or under preferably), I just want to get rid of that ugly stock can, and get some nice lower end to it. I think I prefer the sound of the Graves over the Yoshimura, but the Yoshimura does sound good.
Sounds alot like my Kawasaki Er-6F.. nice to hear :)
Just had mine installed today...I sound like a madman!
so is it true that top end is somewhat restricted and hence in need of an ECU flash to release top end power? And what about after adding a full exhaust to go with ECU flash? this bike would break 50 hp at the rear wheel ?
ECU Flash / Dyno tune is always recommended even on Stock motorcycles due to factory fuel lean factor to meet new Euro Emissions and fix mapping to help Throttle response,Smoothness and Economy..A good slip on and high flow air filter with a proper Tune will roughly result in Approximately %10 bhp gains and some Torque.
Wow exactly what i was looking for, you did a great job with all in one loved it!!
Got a $1000 now when is the toce exhaust coming for the ninja 400!!!???
We weren't given a launch date yet
TSTindustries approximately do you know when I need an exhaust if tonlong i have to go with the yoshi
Do you currently have this in stock for the Ninja 400 2023?
Our website has live inventory tracking. If it shows available then it is in stock.
Hello! Good looking content you got there ;). Is it okay if I used it in an exhaust compilation? I will give you credit in the video ofc!
Thank you but we do not share our content with anyone. There is a commercial purpose behind all our content and the copyright remains exclusively ours.
@@TSTindustries I totally understand! thank you for your time =). Have a great day!
@@MrMotorMedia ok, thanks for understanding. Hope your video compilation works out for you.
How is the bass tone of this exhaust without the baffle in? I'm looking at this or one of the Arrow exhausts. Also how's the TOCE exhaust coming along?
Toce is still a ways out. We need to proof out a few more prototypes to make this new type of exhaust. The Yosh sounds really nice on this bike. With the dB killer in the sound takes on a slightly whistly sound. When the muffler is installed without the dB killer, the bass note is very nice, with a round and smooth character, until you reach 6000+ RPMs, and then it becomes a bit raspy. The rasp will be there with pretty much every exhaust.
Sounds awesome what tires are you guys using on the bike?
They are the stock Dunlop Sportmax GPR-300 tires.
New one sounds like a card in the spokes. Id go back to stock. Also it is through my speakers. So it could sound better in person
I'm sure you would change your mind hearing it live.
TSTindustries, Can you please do a video on exhaust comparison with and without db killer of Alpha-T Slip-On for Ninja 400
We did. This video has footage of those two variations. With dB killer installed starts at 1:09 , no dB killer starts at 1:57.
I know this is the exhaust but i was wondering if you guys are in the process of making frame sliders? The Kawasaki price is ridiculous $310cad . Was looking for an aftermarket one
One of our engineers is busy with that project now.
TSTindustries perfect. Thank you so much!
Sorry TST but Moto911 has them for $90
I luv this sound ...can I fit it to my husqvarna vitpilen ?
At the moment we are not seeing any availability of a direct fit Yoshimura exhaust for that model
such a sick muffler, bit too pricey tho for a bike I'm only keeping short-term
very true, good for those that want this as their long-termer bike though (as few as that may be)
Nice video!!!
Thank you. It is great to have our effort appreciated.
Prefect Video
The db killer totally kills the sound.
it does
If I'm not wrong dB stand for Decibels
Ferrarini's Garage yes
@@SkyPix119 nope "Dick Balance"
@@elijahjones2749 hahhahaahahah
Any pros and cons with having out? Besides the sound? Lol
oh man that sounds fucking insane without the db killer!!!
Which one is better between alpha t full exhaust or slip on?
You can't compare the two with a word like "better" because there are multiple things to consider. The full removes the entire OEM exhaust system and there are implications to that. You should probably read through the product pages we have for these items at TSTindustries.com
@@TSTindustries thanks a lot bro
No worries. Hope you find what you are looking for. Next week we will have the Graves exhaust lineup for this bike as well.
@@TSTindustries yes i found bro, but only images.. because how can i differentiate two without testing
Hi, what is the db level of this exhaust?
Is the exhaust for the Kawasaki Ninja 400 legal in Germany?
We cannot confirm that
Does the exhaust meet the Euro 4 regulation? Or what emissions has the exhaust
Würde ich auch gerne wissen ...der akra ist zu leise ...welchen würdest du kaufen ?
Neat bikes but that noise they make would get old fast. It's good to see something that quiets the exhaust.
TSTindustries i would like to ask which or what type of slip on exhaust sound are good/best for KAWASAKI 400, is it yushimora, akrapovic, m4, or SC..?
We can't tell you yet because all we have experience with so far is the Yoshimura slipon, and some Toce prototypes.
besides, my answer would be subjective and not necessarily what you would consider "best sound"
TSTindustries thank you so much
TSTindustries thanks a lot..
What is next? Clip-ons?
That would be the next sensible step! And then by the end of the year if we could get some shorter mirrors. That would give this bike the best look/sound. So stoked for this bike.
db killer for City riding
no db killer for Expressways
💚Do you love Kawasaki?

We will unleash the beast soon!
Team AeroR Entertainment
with the dbkiller it just soundsough, like engine is running without engine oil.
What diameter slip on for the 400?
The outlet of the header where the slipon mounts is roughly 1.75"
It is a full system¿
Nope...that's a slipon
Ohhh ok, what exhaust that you show for kawa 400 is full system?
The Two Bros. slip-on sounds way better.
Indeed. and it costs much less as well, but I prefer the look of this over the Two Bros so I'm kind of conflicted.
Meretti, Mich & Mi I own the Two Bros. slip on. I love the look. The carbon fiber looks amazing.
stock is better i believe
kawasaki life No way
Believe in what?
The stock is so silent that people in front most likely don't hear you driving behind them.
Berg 😂😂👌
@@RaJeshSinGh-rs8nb There are some deaf folks.
A few days ago I got the chance to test ride a FXDR 114 that sound like a tractor, but some people just don't give a shit about you on the road.
nice video, but!! the stock exhaust sounds much better.
Its so much louder irl "Yoshimura"
Yosh sounds real nice on this bike
@@TSTindustries we just got a 400 5 days ago
Is this escape legal in the United States?
The slipon exhaust is legal for street use.
@@TSTindustries is it legal without the dB killer too? Or does sound have nothing to do with it or is it just emissions?
@@htcdesire3153 The dB killer is included with the exhaust. The homologation for street use is achieved with the dB killer in place. In our dyno tests the small bikes actually have a slightly higher output using exhausts with dB killer installed, so you may consider having that piece in there.
@@TSTindustries thanks for replying. Helped a lot :)
Stock sounds like a bigger bike, with other exhaust sounds like 125ccm
Changing exhaust is illegal in my town 😭😭
Which Town?
Time to move!
Can you like stop revving it for like a second so we can actually hear it idle??
It would be really tought to go into the video and stop myself from doing that at this point.
knock off version?
No, we only deal directly with Yoshimura and sell only genuine parts.
So jealous
The second exhaust sound not like a moped
Like a fart in a box
Only if the stock wasn’t so ugly
Sounds like dirt bike
shame this bike has a 360 degree crank
Dan Patrick why is that?
This comment is hilariously uneducated.
270 sounds better
This bike has 180 degree crank not 360
