Wassup Black’Tropical homestead!!! Wassup soil family. Every time I watch y’all I get inspired to do more and continue to do my best no matter what. Mother Nature said “y’all gon & enjoy this good food right now”. 😂😂 Peace N Love
Looking forward to the pineapple guava video. Luckily the bananas were close to being ripe before they came crashing down. I hope the trees will survive.
Good God's glorious morning SoilFamily! 🙋🏽♀️ Freeze-Dried banana flour for making bread at a later time. 😉 Don't sleep on them leaves. They give excellent flavor if you use them to wrap up food before steaming (like tamales) or roasting (some meat.) 😉
The hard, green ones can also be grated to make fritters. There's a Puerto Rican dish called Alcapurria where they grate that and also the Yautia root or sometimes Cassava root, and then they use them to form a ball around a meat filling of their choice, and then they fry it up and it's magically delicious! 😋
Thank you for sharing what happened as well as the harvest of what you could save. Plenty of ferilizer. Do you cook dishes with the banana leaves also? I will look out for the pineapple guava video.
