I buy mine green anyway and sometimes eat them green. Take them to market and those who know the value will purchase.

Looking forward to the pineapple guava video. Luckily the bananas were close to being ripe before they came crashing down. I hope the trees will survive.

Good God's glorious morning SoilFamily! 🙋🏽‍♀️ Freeze-Dried banana flour for making bread at a later time. 😉 Don't sleep on them leaves. They give excellent flavor if you use them to wrap up food before steaming (like tamales) or roasting (some meat.) 😉

The hard, green ones can also be grated to make fritters. There's a Puerto Rican dish called Alcapurria where they grate that and also the Yautia root or sometimes Cassava root, and then they use them to form a ball around a meat filling of their choice, and then they fry it up and it's magically delicious! 😋

Thank you for sharing what happened as well as the harvest of what you could save. Plenty of ferilizer. Do you cook dishes with the banana leaves also? I will look out for the pineapple guava video.
