I know people who visited Italy and all they put on Instagram was the cities with history , restaurants, cafes and food . The also showed touristic beaches dotted with cafes , bars and restaurants. They never thought to visit the Dolomites and do hiking . Thank you fir taking us a long with you .
You are so welcome and thanks for watching! I feel the same way and have talked to people who've never even heard of this region of Italy! The Dolomites have forever stolen a piece of my heart. i appreciate you being on the journey with me. More to come. Grazie!
Great pro tip at the end of this episode 👍🏼 Love the circuit format so so you always have a fresh perspective! This looks like a lovely area to visit - without the crowds. Awesome!🤩
Very nice video. I’ll be doing that hike in a few days, unfortunately the cable car will be closed and my main goal is to get to Refugio Toni Demetz which is in the middle of two giant peaks. Do you know if by following this same route I can get to it?
Oh that is a different hike, where you hike up the switchbacks. You can access it from the same parking lot (Hotel Passo Sella). Here is a trail map: alltrails.pxf.io/rifugio-toni-demetz
The Sassolungo group is one of the most important Dolomite groups above Val Gardena with the Sella Group. They are unique areas in the world with many legends. Welcome.

The circuit hikes are just awesome. It's such a beautiful feeling to walk 360 degrees around something as epic as this.
