Tell me about it. I've read so many comments bitching about the tunes in the game, but the wealth of fantastic socal punk and hardcore was a welcome surprise for me. Can't tell you how many times I showed up somewhere and just sat there listening.
Not sure what happened with the remastering that happened for use in game, but this version is like 10x more visceral, wider dynamic range- esp the guitars. Lotta respect for the engineers that worked on this.

I first heard this song on the middle of a break-up with a woman who made me pay for her abortion, which I realized months later ir wasn't mine. Also,my mother got cancer which until today never went away. It made me cry A LOT. btw, that whole album is the brightest pearl of the darkest sea. Today I'm a father and I'm with the best partner I could've asked for, and hear this song it still brings me to tears. You know why? Because escence never delutes and if you don't realize that the present is what you have to enjoy, you keep "drowning on the surface" "washed up on purpose". Thank you PEARS.

These guys are one of the best live shows you'll ever see. Awesomely high energy with a great tunes. The singer reminds me of Iggy Pop and not in an unauthentic way.

I agree. This band rules. The bass player in this video fucking blew it! Bailing on the Australian tour, 2 hours before they were flew out !?! Booted yourself out of a great / working punk band man. I like his shirt though! "Shoot Drugs Not People" maybe that's why he's out of the band... They have dope in Australia too. Just be dope sick for a little while.
Fat has so many great bands right now. These guys, Get Dead, and Days to Daze are some of the best modern punk bands hands down.
