3:50 About so many israeli vics being for Nato, there is quite a bit of evidence in the game coding and script notes that suggest Arma 3 was supposed to be about a hypothetical war between Israel and Greece against Turkey/Iran/ME nations, but BI backed out of that just because it was a little too close to being true. keep in mind the game released in 2013, and even today those tensions are running high (Especially Greece and Turkey right now). Had it actually been meant to be Nato I have a feeling we'd be seeing more american/westpac vehicles.

I started really getting into ARMA about a month ago (had the game for like 2 years now) and I've been following Viper's mod lists for a while and I got easily over 112 mods as of this moment, the game gets sluggish xD I get like 20fps when I go MP

I like to run his mod and my mod together, so I have more variation in my vehicles (so it looks like there's multiple units operating), and he has the Mitznefet helmet cover, which I could never figure out.

Viper - BFL is working on a new realism mod that uses ace interaction to add slate/crib cards - there is a mod similar to this but we weren’t fans of the quality so we’ve made our own. Using genuine British Army slates as our templates. I’ll send you a pre-release when it’s ready in the next week or so. Great video as ever!
The mos has been renamed from Operation North Start to Task Force Canada. It's available on Steam and is being very actively worked on and frequently updated.

The AAF 2017 mod is awesome. It has good textures, load outs etc. Great for missions on Altis and Stratis. Living in a Greek island my self it is a very accurate description as to what a local military force would look like. Not anything too big but not useless either. Also the HAF mod is very realistic. They got everything right. I have seen Greek soldiers up close, I have even entered an army base and everything from the uniform to the guns and load outs is spot on.

As I am getting more and more into the game and lore, these are exactly the factions I felt should have been in the vanilla game instead of the once we have, and the vehicles should be what we have now, not 10 years from now. IDF, and Greece vs Turkey and Iran. I may not be from any of these counties, but that's almost a war we *need* to duke out (don't forget Greece and Turkey are still at odds over Cyprus).. almost wish they would have made the map Cyprus and it would be all set for milsimming

Paul Nicholson jr Welcome to one of the best gaming experiences you’ll ever have! It’s got its flaws, but it’s an amazing game. I absolutely plan on doing some RHS and CUP reviews, so stay tuned for that! As far as my personal opinion, RHS is the best bang for your download given the shear quantity of quality content. It does a lot of what CUP did but does it better IMO. Now CUP does have things that RHS doesn’t, like the revamped OFP/ARMA 2 maps. Luckily the maps, gear, weapons are all standalone mods and don’t require everything to be downloaded together except for CUP Core.
Viper1Zero if you have any suggestions on how to find a decent group to play with online that would be very much appreciated as well. Eventually my goal is to be able to Zeus but for now I’m just looking for some decent folks to play with while I learn the mechanics and terminology. Either way, thanks for putting the time and effort into these vids and for taking the time to reply.

Wow, again, great job on that video. I really enjoyed it. The balance you found between showing off some mods that do a great job retexturing existing units and showing off ones that just add new stuff to the game was perfect! I also really enjoyed the way you presented the mods with a mixture of factual / important information and your personal thoughts / experiences / anecdotes. I do have one question though: is it just me or does the camerawork seem just a tad bit shakier than in your other videos? I might have just gotten a wrong impression, but it seemed so to me (no hate, just a question / trying to give constructive criticism). Keep up the great work! PS: As a german I am obviously biased but I think you should check out the BW-Mod (Bundeswehr-Mod, german armed forces), as it is one that I use quite often. There are certainly flaws (but hey, wich mod does not have those), but I think it is worth the time. It might be one of those "quite often downloaded" ones though, so I would get it if you said it would not fit in a list such as this one.
I appreciate the feedback! So I tend to get a little shakier when doing ground ops to simulate the chaos of ground warfare; hopefully making the camera look handheld as if someone were there at times. I'm still working on camera movements though. There were times I'd be a little rushed to get footage and that may show through some camera movements as well. Again, I thank you for the time you took to provide feedback on it! I've not used BW Mod yet, so I will download it and give it a try and it may make it on the next list! :)

8:26 Desert AAF Retexture has a problem, its that like 3CB uniforms get messed up by it or anything using the normal AAF texture

The balance you found between showing off some mods that do a great job retexturing existing units and showing off ones that just add new stuff to the game was perfect! I also really enjoyed the way you presented the mods with a mixture of factual / important information and your personal thoughts / experiences / anecdotes.
I do have one question though: is it just me or does the camerawork seem just a tad bit shakier than in your other videos? I might have just gotten a wrong impression, but it seemed so to me (no hate, just a question / trying to give constructive criticism).

As a german I am obviously biased but I think you should check out the BW-Mod (Bundeswehr-Mod, german armed forces), as it is one that I use quite often. There are certainly flaws (but hey, wich mod does not have those), but I think it is worth the time. It might be one of those "quite often downloaded" ones though, so I would get it if you said it would not fit in a list such as this one.
I appreciate the feedback! So I tend to get a little shakier when doing ground ops to simulate the chaos of ground warfare; hopefully making the camera look handheld as if someone were there at times. I'm still working on camera movements though. There were times I'd be a little rushed to get footage and that may show through some camera movements as well. Again, I thank you for the time you took to provide feedback on it!
I've not used BW Mod yet, so I will download it and give it a try and it may make it on the next list! :)

So I’m sorta new to ARMA but I’ve been playing it offline a lot lately. I can only really play offline due to navy deployments, so I’m wondering what kind of faction replacers/edits work for solely offline play? Also any mods that overall enhance the single player experience

You will if the helo came with a DLC. Otherwise, no. The KA60 is a vanilla aircraft.
My unit has done a war with Turkey and Greece, fighting on altis, it was a very interesting mix up
