- On SportsCenter, Matt Barrie explains Louisville officials have released a new video of Scottie Scheffler’s arrest ahead of the second round of the PGA Championship. Officials also said the arresting officer did not turn on his body cam, a violation of policy.

The cop stated that Scheffler injured his wrist...go to 25 second mark and you can see how the cop actually injured his wrist. The idiot punched the car.
hit car with right fist, but I believe he stated injuring his left wrist which would be consistent when a car pulls away and you fall on your left side while standing at the drivers window.

So I see no officer being dragged....see him running after the car for about 2 seconds then hurling himself at it. I would charge the cop with filing false report, fire the Chief and kick out the DA for not dropping the charges. POS
They did say you can’t see anything prior to when the recording begins.
Regardless, I’m going to invest in a dash cam.

Officer is definitely at fault but going after the Chief and DA is a bit excessive, now that everything is available give them the opportunity to do the right thing.
If not, then all bets are off

The police were blocking the other side of the street. Then chase his car, then claim assault and arrest him. I don't see any crime that was committed. Unless driving is a crime? How is he supposed to know he can't drive down that street? Good luck with the lawsuit. False arrest and prosecution.
I gave the officer the benefit of the doubt. How stupid of me. Scottie doesn't seem to be doing anything wrong from this video.
If he was black he would've been shot through the windshield immediately. Then police would've said he drove towards the officer.

He didn’t turn it off, he NEVER turned it on. He was asked to arrive 30 minutes earlier than originally scheduled b/c of the death of guy hit by the bus. So, presumably he was now rushed to get there & just didn’t do what he was required to do… put his BWC into ready mode. In other words- he F’d up

the "Officer" committed false arrest, false imprisonment, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, mis-malfeasance, falsifying charges, falsifying government documents, deprivation of rights; the "Officer" is also the sole cause if 95% of his injuries latching onto a moving automobile when he could have (being an accident scene recreation expert) instead pounded on the hood or trunk to get the driver's attention...
the Prosecutor is also REQUIRED to disclose exculpatory evidence, AND prosecute the "Officer" if there is evidence of the "Officers" wrong doing...
If there is any true Justice the "Officer" should not be being treated as thought everything he did was lawful, and everything Scottie did was unlawful...🤔

The charges against Scottie should be dropped, apparently the LMPD aren’t taking the charges seriously themselves. After all, he had a felony on one of them and still made tee time

So in a nutshell at best in Louisville if you speed be careful because the police might charge you with assault as they approach your vehicle when you do nothing wrong. No knock department and kill someone innocent what do you expect? PGA remove all tournaments from Kentucky as patrons no longer will come.
Unfortunately, sometimes a lawsuit is the only thing that some people understand.
Once this is past, Scheffler will never step foot again in the chit show state of Kentucky

When we allow the most vulnerable among us to get this treatment it will always start to happen to everyone. This is what happens when we ignored it for years when it was just "one group of people" getting that treatment.

He does need to be present. This report is wrong. The full court video of the arraignment being set was very focused on him being present. It's a comedic mess of 14 minutes.
The arraignment will likely not take place. This is an embarrassment for the LMPD, charges against Scottie will be dropped before 6/3.
His brake lights do not go off until Scottie leaves his car!
