It is truly right and just...worship sets us free.
Does God need our worship? He does not. But we do. Worship sets us free from slavery and opens us up to love.

❤❤❤❤❤YES we should pray for all rich and influencial PEOPLE scientist and artists celebrities BELIEVE in GOD IN CHRIST
Yesterday was a difficult day for me, my heart was hurt, I was so broken by a situation between my 2 sons, I usually go to 9am Mass, I thought of not going, but I decided to go to 10am Mass, then 10:30 am Mass and then 12 pm, I could'nt do it. I decided to go to 1 pm Spanish Mass and I laid all my problems at the altar and I now feel good. Both my 2 sons and I had lunch together and everything was fine. Please pray for me. I lost my husband 4 months ago. God bless you all.
God be with you, abd your sons.
❤️❤️
God be with you.❤
Dear, Few things you can do.
1. Pray for your sons every day on your knees.
2. Help others who go through similar situations voluntarily
3. Give alms to people whom you feel like giving without prejudice
Your problems will melt away.
Always remember that your prayer will be heard on God's time. So be patient and wait for that time.
God bless🎉
I will be praying for you friend. May God be your comfort forever. 🩵
I love seeing how parents navigate Mass with their small children. And seeing older children too. Families at Mass is such a sign of God's love.
In Spanish mass we allow children to play and run . I think it’s a great sign of community and love
Holy Father, I am worn. I place that at your altar.
Help me to detach from the things of this world.
Lord Jesus only you can carry the burdens I face as a single parent. I feel so alone. Heavenly Father please provide me with the wisdom to make the right decisions for my children, and the courage to face each day with optimism. Lord because I continue to struggle with providing for my boys both have special needs. Heavenly Father as I struggle financially grant me strength.
Blessings to you for God to fulfill all your desires and needs as He promised.,
one step at a time, one day at a time, one task at a time. keep putting one foot in front of the other, while holding on to Jesus
Amen, I pray that God in his infinite mercy will listen to your prayers and grant you your heart desires. You are not alone. Am praying for you. ❤
We have a Father who listens to and loves us abundantly ❤
This resonated so much with me. In the summer I went to Montreal for a wedding, and had that same conscious pull the Sunday morning after to make the effort and go to Mass in an unfamiliar city and language, to my surprise, 2 of my cousins went also! I was sooo happy after being so afraid and forcing myself to go alone!
Also this week, I went for Saturday vigil, for confession primarily, though I am nursing a bad toothache. I thought, just get to confession, and see how you feel for Sunday Mass. If tomorrow you are in too much pain, you don't have to go, and you're not technically breaking the rules. Well, after confession, and in a lot of pain, I thought to myself, yes, I am in pain, but not enough pain that I can't stay another hour for Saturday vigil. At least i know I can go now, and if I leave, I was being lazy and self serving. Not to mention being in a sure state of grace, and robbing myself of the opportunity to recieve the Eucharist! I mean it has happened before that I went to confession and only hours later ran so fast and willingly into mortal sin!
I was also humbled yesterday when prior to going to church, I was helping an elderly friend empty his apartment as he's been just told by doctors that the disease he has will soon take its toll and he doesnt have much time left. I thought here I am complaining about my toothache, when this man has to wrap up, and say goodbye to his life and life's possessions.
Thank you Fr. Mike for teaching and prompting such deep reflection. God bless you!
God bless you!!! You have a beautiful loving heart!!❤️
Thanks for teaching me a new perspective on sacrifice.
I was born a catholic, but I don't think I ever really believed and never thought I'd truly seek and find God. Lately I learned what "God works in mysterious ways" means as I'm going through a painful separation from my wife and this storm in my heart has led me to Jesus. He opened my eyes, removed the veil that kept me from really seeing and I understood that the failures, sorrows, hurt, the sense of feeling lost and most importantly having spent a lifetime sinning, were the direct result of being Godless for so long. Now I'm still struggling to build my faith, day after day an on-going battle trying to stay on the path that's pleasing to God, but now at least I see a glimmer of hope which I couldn't see before!
Beautiful as always. Thanks so much for answering the call to the priesthood. 🙏
I need to listen to this one over and over again. One of my favorites. God bless you Father. 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Father Mike. Amazing to know why it is important to bring ourselves to Jesus during Mass.

Fr. Mike, thank you for yet another inspiring and awesome homily. I go to church for Mass every Sunday but I have been listening to your homilies each Sunday because they always hit home. I just love listening to you. And, for the record, you are not a "babbling and unintelligible priest". Yes, I agree you talk fast but it is easy to follow (at least I can definitely follow you) and you have such an intelligence that amazes me. I thank God for you and your ministry. God bless you!
💯❤️
Me too, and I echo your sentiments! I usually listen to Fr. Mike's Mass while making dinner later Sunday evening or during the week thereafter.

Great food for thought Fr. Mike.
“You have the words of eternal life” John 6:68
Thank you Father !🙏
😊God's glory cannot be increased but it can be manifested. It can be shared.
In that sense He needs the utmost glorification possible. In his tender love for
the creature, he needs to manifest and share and as we grow in our knowledge
of him, we need to manifest and share in a reciprocal relationship.
(Book of Heaven)
Thank you
Father Mike is my boy...always quoting Lewis and Tolkien references
This hits home from as I go to mass with my mother in a language I can’t understand well. But it’s definitely worth it.
🙌🙌🙌🇺🇸l was homeless, did drugs, went into prison, where I got to know God. He changed my life. Now I have a home, a wife and a lovely year old daughter (zoe), and a stream of income that gats me $47,000 weekly. Plus a new identity - a child of God, Hallelujah!!!🇺🇸❣️❤️❤️
God bless you more abundantly for your generosity
But then, what do you do? How do you come about that in that period?
Hello, how do you achieve such biweekly returns? As a single parent i haven't been able to get my own house due to financial struggles, but my faith in God remains strong.
I raised 75k and Kate Elizabeth Becherer is to be thanked. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in dept then told me about her and how to change my life through her.Kate Elizabeth Becherer is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!
This is a definition of God's unending provisions for his people. God remains faithful to his words. 🙏 I receive this for my household
Wow 😱I know her too
Miss Kate Elizabeth Becherer is a remarkable individual who has brought immense positivity and inspiration into my life.
My God, I lay every joy ... every pain ... every blessing ... and every heartache at Your feet. I lift up my heart, mind, body, and soul to You. I pray You would honor me with the opportunity to sacrifice more each day ... that You would allow me to bear the pain intended for others, that I may serve them the same way that Jesus served us on the cross. Amen.
Amen ❤️ 🕊
Gabbling. 😂
Yeah, I take my two littles to Mass by myself four days a week, and with their father on Sundays. Even on the one morning I go completely by myself, I'm so accustomed to Mom-mode that I can't settle into deeper prayer like I could pre-kids. Years ago I offered that to Jesus: You know. This is my mite. It's yours.
Temptation to GRASP is what Moses fell to when he killed the Egyptian thinking he'd have all of Israel rally behind his revolt. That mentality was the thinking of man, not God, so Moses was placed in the wilderness where he would learn God's way 🙏
Moses killed the Egyptian and he didn't think of the cost.
He thought he wasn't seen
❤❤❤
Yeah I never dreamed I had to face somebody higher than Melena.
You look great.
🙏🏼
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤

This is what every atheist needs to hear. They always have this idea that our God needs worship. I wonder where they got that from. Perhaps some (the ones who detached from faith) had a bad experience with their church where the offering is forced and mandatory.
It should be forbidden to be a handsome priest. 😂 it’s funny but true.
Bible book of Colossians chapter 1 vers 5_23 The person work of christ.
So those of us living off our credit cards, our offering every Sunday is equivalent to the Widow's mite?
Where is this Sundays video? I can’t find it anywhere😢
And pack their don Corleone gaming console with the white wedding dress and leave it on their doorstep.
So Fr Mike is recommending that I don’t come to Mass with him but go to one where priest mumbles and the sound system isn’t working, and that will be a better sacrifice for me to offer?
Just kidding. If I did then I’d listen to this homily on the way home.
I really enjoy you passion for the faith, but in addition to the readings, interject scripture into you homily with chapter and verse to encourage catholics to become more knowledgeable and efficient at going to the Bible
That is not Catholic, we are interested in message not chapter and verse.
21:38 messy, yes. Recollected, what about Dismas?
Wouldn't exploiting a loophole in a deceitful way be "sin".....
and by the way of math be domed to fail.
making the pendulum swing back.... ?
Father Mike can u please do a video on smoking marijuana
If he doesn't need worship, then why is he a jealous God then?
And 'Shu -up' and their career spirals out of control.
How to build a prison.
true...and we don't need you either....
Father, you are committing heresy! The Great Amen is NOT when Christ saves us. It could be said that this Amen is when we publicly proclaim our belief, thanks, and praise for our salvation, but it is the Sacrifice itself that saves us. You are going to have to change your wording. I may not have any doctorate in theology, but I have studied and learned enough about the mass to know that what you are saying over and over again is simply wrong, and you are confusing your 139k subscribers. You really have to correct what you are saying. If I am wrong, please specifically site your Catholic source that states that the Amen is when Christ saves us and I will apologize.
What is heresy? What does the word amen mean? And what is greater our acceptance of God or God’s acceptance of us?
@@johnosumba1980 A heresy is a doctrine contradictory to a point of faith clearly defined by the Church. The Church teaches that the salvation is re-presented when the priest consecrates the bread and wine, not when the people say, "Amen." The Doxology or The Great Amen is the people saying that they believe this sacrifice has been re-presented and are giving praise that to this re-presentation. As to what is greater anything that God does must be greater since God is infinitely greater. That God even created us is something for which we should be thankful and then even accept us as his own. Relatively, for our part for us to accept God is greater than not to accept God's salvation, but that is in comparison to other people and not to God's acceptance of us.
@@theloverofwisdom66 so you acknowledge that God’s acceptance of us is greater than our acceptance of God, so the Fr. Is right on his statement.
@@johnosumba1980 No, Father is not right. When the priest is saying, "Through Him, . . .," he is NOT saying, " Father into your hands I commend my Spirit." If that is what the Church meant it to be, it would use those words just as the Church uses the words, "This is my Body - this is my Blood." These words, "Through Him, . . . " are an expression of gratitude and belief that Christ truly saved us.
@ you are the one who is wrong.
Holy Father, I am worn. I place that at your altar.
Help me to detach from the things of this world.
🙏
Thanks
